eliminate pure consulting rooms from consent and authorization. Recent inclusion of 18% GST
on BMWM may cause increase in rate. Planning for another facilitators meeting on this regard
in October 2022 itself.
Appointment of Dist. Coordinators : 36 District Coordinators were appointed. 2 districts remain
unfilled (Nagapattinam & Tiruvarur). The Roles and Responsibilities along with the list of
member hospitals were communicated to them. We are having a Plan to have a State wide
District Coordinators Training in November 2022. The Presidents and Secretaries of the
Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur IMA branches are requested to nominate suitable district coordinators.
Udyam Registration : Hope you are aware that from last two years, hospitals have been
brought under service sector of MSME by our central government. It entails you to subsidized
bank loan and such other facilities. We as an organization can approach TNEB for concession
in tariff.
Whenever we approach the bank for a hospital related loan they also advise us to get MSME
certificate so that they can subsidize the loan (solar power). The process is very simple. You
have to search and login to “Udyam registration” in Google There’s no cost involved, only a
procedure which will require you to submit details of IT returns (latest), assets value (as
officially declared by you), details of your organization , staff and manpower. It may take a
few days, you will receive the registration through email and you can generate your certificate.

TNSB PARAMEDICAL

Respected Leaders and Colleagues,
The new academic year commended on 01.08.2022
with 10 Paramedical courses, ie. One-Advanced Health Dr.P.Mannar Mannan
Assistant Course (3 Years), Seven Diploma courses (2 years) and two
Certificate courses (1 Year). The curriculum for the diploma courses were Chairman, IMA Paramedical Wing
revised to apt for two years. The institutions were requested to close the 94432 63342
admission by 31.10.2022 in normal admission fee. The admission of
students is as per the norms of IMA TNSB with valid qualification, medical dr.mannarima@gmail.com
certificate and declaration by the students and the parents.
The convocation for the year 2021-22 was held at IMA Hall Trichy on
28.09.2022 with more than 230 students. 33 Institutions were participated Dr.S.Gowri Shankar
the convocation. Thanks to IMA Trichy, the arrangements were very good
and well appreciated. The convocation was commenced at 04.00 PM Secretary, IMA Paramedical Wing
with IMA Prayer and Physician Prayer. The Nightingale pledge was 77085 45554
recited by the faculties of the Paramedical institutions. Paramedical
Wing Chairman welcome the leaders and the students gathered in the gsdrshankar47@gmail.com
Convocation ceremony. State President Dr. R. Palaniswamy was presided
over the ceremony and Padma Shri. M. Subburaman, Director SCOPE Dr.K.Thirumavalavan
Trichywas the chief Guest. State President advisedthe passed-out students
to commit their profession to the patients. He also gave away the awards Joint Secretary,
to the best performance institutions, meritorious students and certificate IMA Paramedical Wing
to the students. Chief guest talked about leading healthy life where
many diseases are surrounded. A revised curriculum for the Paramedical 9443043452
courses were released by the State President Dr. R. Palaniswamy and drktvalavan@gmail.com
received by Dr. T. Senthanil Pari, State President Elect, who congratulated
the students and wished them better carrier in the days to come.
Dr. Gowrishankar, Hony. Secretary Paramedical Wing advised the
Principals and the faculties of the Paramedical institutions to train the
students properly to meet the demand of the society and congratulated
them for their hard work to train the students.

The text book required for the students are being issued. Most of the
institutions which applied for the accreditation were approved on signing
MOU. Accreditation to few institutions ispending for want of inspection
reports, signing MOU etc., would be completed soon.
The next Zonal meet for the south zone Paramedical students will be decided soon. The faculties
are encouraged to train the students well and to abide by the new curriculum and exam schedules.
