Dear Friends,

Finance Standing Committee meeting was held on 07.08.2022 at JVL
Plaza, Chennai. Accounts of IMA TNSB, Schemes and Wings of
IMA were scrutinized with bank accounts, bills and Vouchers. All
accounts were maintained well.

The Following decisions were taken in the FSC Meeting.

1. An Account should be opened in the name of MSN & JDN under
IMA TNSB which will be operated jointly by the Chairman of MSN
& JDN and Finance Secretary of IMA TNSB.

2. Likewise, the accounts of various wings such as Paramedical,
CGP of IMA TNSB and AMS, should be operated jointly by the
concerned wings secretaries and Finance Secretary of IMA TNSB.
FSC requested the Constitution Amendment Committee of IMATNSB

Respected Seniors and Dear Friends,

I feel honored as Finance Secretary of IMA TNSB to express my
sincere gratitude to all the members for working selflessly for the
betterment of health services under the umbrella of Indian Medical Association. IMA TNSB
has been striving hard in achieving various milestones related to professional security and academic
demand of members. It is only possible through meticulous work, coordination between various
stakeholders and continuous support from the doctors.

IMA will left no stone unturned to work for better working environment of the doctors.
Indeed it is a matter of great pride that I TNSB has also been focusing in the academic part of
doctors by organizing various online trainings and research programs moreover IMA TNSB is
having various schemes for the benifit of our members Profession, Health and family benifit in

the form of PPLSS , FBS, FSS. IMA has
been publishing its journal, TIMA Journal
on a monthly basis which has benefitted by
thirty three thousands of doctors. With all-
round focus on multiple aspects of our noble
medical profession, we can create a safe and
encouraging working environment for all the
doctors.

Finally, I want to thank all my respected
seniors, colleagues and young junior doctors
for trusting and working with IMA. IMA will

 Dr. Ponneri Kuppasamy Kesavan was born in the year 1936, June 10th. His
father was Kuppusamy Reddiar from Ponnari.

 Dr. P.K.K. married two sisters from a family. He has one daughter who
obtained Ph.D. He started his practice as Medical Officer as Panchayat
Union Dispensary in North Arcot District.

 Dr. P.K.K.’s IMA Journey started from IMA Tirupattur. Then he started
and worked in difference captures in Vellore, State Office and National
IMA.

 Having selected as IMA State Secretary he shifted his residence to Vellore
Town. During his State Secretary period, he worked and raised the
membership, converted ordinary membership to Life Membership.

 He is very familiar to leaders of National IMA during his State Secretary
Period he started 6 new branches.

 He took active role in conducting 4 State IMA Conference in Vellore.
 He took active part in National IMA Conference conducted in Chennai

Trade Center along with Vellore branch members in 2005.
 He played a vital role in building IMA Trust Building by cooperating first

line leaders of Vellore branch.
 He was in the committee which identified the Kilpauk Garden Guest House

the “FIRST PROPERTY” of IMATNSB.
 He served as PPLSSS Chairman, during that time PPLSSS Sankara Heritage Apartments Guest

House, Chetpet was purchased.
 He served as FSS State Secretary. His period was “Eventful” and will be remembered for ever.
 He attended about 60 CWC; 50% of National Conferences and 80% of State Council Meeting.

He was friendly to all and foe to few.
He was a lovable great grand father to most of us.

He is a role model for us.
