Go! Team! Go! The rousing battle-cry of Wilson’s peppy cheerleaders resounds
across football field and gymnasium. After undergoing rigorous competition for a position
on the squad, it is the responsibility of these girls to promote school spirit at all athletic
events attended by spectators. This year’s varsity and J.'V. chcerleading squads, coached
LIL ADAMS
by Mrs. Picariello, and captained by Marianne Bonaventura and Loretta O’Neil, did an
outstanding job in generating enthusiasm and spirit at all football and basketball games.
Their desire and determination to make the crowds cheer was shown at every ".ime.
Congratulations, cheerleaders, for a job well done!

SOCCER

Mr. Fielder’s Soccer team played vigorously on the field and demon
strated much spirit and sportsmanship. It is a team of which Wilson
can be extremely proud.
Even though the soccer team won only two games it was the manner
and the enthusiasm displayed that made it shine above its opponents.
Captain Tim Kitchen and seniors Bruce Albert, Douglas Ewing,
David Boone, and Karsten Kremser gave the team experience, while a
fine crew of juniors and sophomores gave the team depth. Next season
the Rams will retain 23 of its 29 players. We are sure they will give
their opponents a good race for the L.B.C.L. title.

Cross Country— often called the
"lonely man’s sport.” We are proud
to note that this year’s harriers have
achieved more than any past per
forming squad. The team, composed
mainly of seniors this year, captured
third place in the Lower Bucks
league, set a new course and school
record, and posted a better record
than any previous team. 'The team’s
fine ability was displayed at the
