Spanish Club: LEFT TO RICELT — Karen Dougherty, Sharon Derr, Kathy
Lippincott (Pres.), Mark Pinsky, Sharon Aronovitz, Miss Schiffman.

LANGUAGE CLUBS

Contrary to the title, the language clubs do not meet
together. They do, however, have the same goal — to dis
cover things about the language they are learning and the
people that speak it.
At press time, all the clubs are engaged in planning
some sort of an activity. The Spanish club has just started
to raise funds. The money raised will go to a cultural ex
ploring trip to New York and a trip to Phila. The Italian
club will sponsor another Battle of the Bands and hope
for a greater success than they have had in the past. They
will also hold Bake Sales and other unannounced activi
ties. With the money raised, the club will give a scholar
ship to the senior student with the highest average in Ital
ian and hope to visit New York and some of the Italian
restaurants therein.
The French club is planning a trip to Canada and, of
course, will visit the restaurants up there. Hopefully, they
will manage a trip to France also.

DRAMA CLUB

Wilson's thespians dramatized 'Come Blow Your Horn' as their first accomplishment in February. This play was en
joyed by many people who enjoy comedy and even those who don't since the acting was superb. Right now, they are
planning the production of the 'Odd Couple'. We hope this play will have the same success that their previous pro
duction had.
The acting, producing, and stage-setting all helped in the prosperity of the Drama Club. Mr. Voipe, Mrs. Weiss, stage
crew and managers spent time perfecting the stage and getting the acting down to the second. If you saw any of the
plays, you know what we mean.

STAGE CREW

The Stage Crew can be found working behind the
scenes and in the cage. These people responsible for co
ordinating the lighting, sound, and curtain calls for var
ious school activities including assemblies, plays, and
films. BEW ARE: They are let out of the cage on weekends.

Buckman, Steve Skota, Alan Aronovitz, Ralph Even; BOTTOM (LEFT TO RIGHT): George Ftaigh Jim
Steigerwalt, Brian Gregg; FRONT (LEFT TO RIGHT): Donna Young.

DEBATE

Mr. Greece's debate team is still a legend in the world.
Their exaltation has been spread throughout Pennsylvania
and will probably spread into the international scene, if
there is any such luck. While they are waiting for this miracle
to occur, Wilson will vibrate with their sound waves.

Debate — BOTTOM (LEFT TO RIChlT): Nancy Weisman,
Linda Kisloff, Drina lezzi, Cindy Rothberg; TOP (LEFT TO
RICETT): Nik Nekolieff, John Hetherton, Erik Jensen; NOT
PRESENT: Mark Kanter, Roslyn Feldman, Dave Scott.

SCHOOL STORE

Your friendly school store doesn't make money — it makes
friends. Serving hordes of Wilson students daily with the best buys in
school supplies — they are known as the friendliest spot in Wilson.
Their big values are exceeded only by their even bigger smiles.
Subscribing to the belief that “You deserve a break today", they
provide Coke and other refreshments after school for our hard
working, exhausted students.

a sporting event. They are the ones who run around
jumping, spinning, and stomping to get the fans into a
shouting, screaming, and bellowing frenzy.

PEP CLUB

This year's Pep Club kept up the tradition of big
mouths, huge banners, and outrageous activities. With all
the mediums they use, when there was something going
on the whole school knew about it.
School spirit at the athletic events was fantastic! Cars
looked different because of bumpers garnished with
stickers and keys on chains. Other activities, which you
should remember, kept our spirit up through the year.
All in all, it was a very peppy year!

Banners like this showed us we were the BEST!

GIRLS BASKETBALL

This year the girls' basketball team had a pretty
good season, coming in second in Section 1. The
girls improved in teamwork as the season prog
ressed, winning their last 4 games. One of the most
exciting games and a satisfying victory were the
team's win over Delhaas by 1 point.
The girls worked together for their fine standing
in the LBCL and should be congratulated for their
successful effort. The team will all be returning next
year, with the exception of Lillian Reynolds, the
team's only senior. With the potential exhibited
by these girls we expect the team to bring home a
championship next year.
