Columbia Community Foundation awards historic $25,000 grant

Gurnick, John Brocklehurst, Rita Ross and Principle Sean Lynch.

The Columbia Community Foundation recently awarded the largest grant in its’ history. A $25,000 Grant was awarded to Columbia Local School District to convert the
aging high school library into a modern Media and Technology Center. The named “Columbia Community Foundation Media Center” provides our high school students with
the latest in technology equipment including chrome book carts, Wi-Fi, Interactive H.D Television, Chrome Cast and Smart Boards.

With this grant approval for “The Columbia Community Foundation Media Center,” the Foundation has reached the $300,000 milestone of grants, scholarships and dona-
tions invested back into our community. This would not be possible if not for the continued generous support of each of our loyal corporate and individual donors over the last
10 years. See photo of Media Center on page 7.
