Food Pantry
The August food distribution at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Church will be on Monday, August 7, from 4-5:30 p.m. The
church is located at 25801 Royalton Road, in Columbia Town-
ship. The food, from the Second Harvest Food Bank of North
Central Ohio, is available to residents of Columbia, Grafton and
Eaton Township. Recipients must be eligible according to Ohio
Job and Family Services guidelines and bring proof of address,
such as a current utility bill and a photo ID. For more informa-
tion, or to determine eligibility, phone the church of?ce at (440)

CMS Volleyball
Attention all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing vol-

Parking Permit for CHS Students
Parking Permit applications are now available and required
for eligible seniors, juniors and sophomores who plan to drive
to school during the 2017-2018 school year. Applicants must
maintain a minimum 1.5 GPA, hold a permanent driver’s license
and attend the mandatory parking meeting. Student parking is
available in the lots adjacent to the school. There is a $30 fee
required to attain a permit. The ?nished application, with a copy
of your current driver’s license and copy of the liability insurance
attached, is due Wednesday, August 9. The student driver must
attend a mandatory parking meeting on Monday, August 14, ei-
ther from 8:30-9:30 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. Applicants will be required
to pay the $30 permit fee at the meeting. Cash, money order or
checks made payable to CHS will be collected at that time. Any
questions, please call CHS at 236-5001. Forms are also available
on the website, www.columbia.k12.oh.us, under documents.

There will be a Fall Sports Parents meeting on Thursday, Au-
gust 10, at 6 p.m. in the High School cafeteria for all high school
and middle school parents of Fall sports athletes. There will be
a general session to go over rules and regulations from OHSAA
and to review the parent student athletic handbook. Coaches of
individual teams will have an opportunity to meet with team
parents in designated areas immediately following the general
meeting.
Also on Thursday, August 10, all high school fall sports team/
individual and Marching band pictures will be taken. All partic-
ipants should receive order information and a time schedule for
team/group and individual pictures from their coaches/advisors.
Please direct any questions to your child’s respective coach/ad-
visor.
