The Grafton Township Trustees met in the larger room of the
township hall on October 11. Tom Dunlap was in attendance to
introduce himself and offer his credentials as a candidate for
Ohio State Representative. The meeting continued with Depart-
mental Reports.
The Zoning Report included the announcement of ?ve per-
mits being granted. Four were for accessory buildings to be lo-
cated on Cowley Road, Law Road, Erhart-Northern South and
Grafton Road. The ?fth was for a fence on Grafton Road. In-
spections reviewing conditional use permits in the township is
being completed as is Zoning Commission work on regulations
in residential subdivisions. Several properties are now in compli-
ance as to nuisance materials and building security.
The Road Department is looking into paperwork status and
possible drawings needed to continue working on a solution to
the intersection and approach to the railroad tracks crossing on
Neff Road and State Route 57. Paving in Haystacks will not be
done this fall as to weather concerns. Repairs were made and
the project will be revisited next year. Work continues on the
tire collection site. A fence will be ?nished and electrical quotes
obtained regarding security measures. Mechanical work will be
done on the backhoe. The trustees agreed to have custom trim
made for the exterior of the old one room school building to pre-
vent further damage to the building. The trim being matched on
the building is thicker than current standard sized pieces.
The Fire Department received authorization from the trustees
to sell 400 feet of old ?re hose to a local contractor who offered
