Sheriff’s Department receives grant LaGrange Lions Festival

The 2015 LaGrange Lions Festival is being held on July
23, 24 & 25 at Lions Park in LaGrange. Events kick-off with
the Parade at 7 p.m. on Thursday. From 6-10 p.m. nightly is
the Beer Tent and Dunk Tank events. The Cornhole Tourna-
ment is on Friday, starting at 6 p.m. Enjoy Hot Air Ballon
Rides at 6 p.m. for $5. Texas Hold’em and other cash games
will be from 6-10 p.m. Heartland will be on stage with live
entertainment from 7-10 p.m. Friday’s festivities will end
with a Fireworks display at 9:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Saturday will continue some of the Friday events through-
out the day, beginning at 12 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be a
Pizza Eating Contest, sponsored by Village Pizza. Also at 6
p.m. will be the 6-man team Tug of War.

Drawings for the various raf?e events will comence at
10 p.m. From 5-6 p.m., enjoy the Summit Up Clog Dancers
and a D.J. will entertain at 7:30 p.m. Space Walk In?atables
wristbands are $8 and will be available every night. Get $1
off on wristbands when you bring in a canned food item on
Saturday only.
