After visiting the falls, students continued their jour-

this landmark, students enjoyed watching a rousing live
jousting tournament and eating a delicious meal. Band
Director Ms. Townsend states, “The kids loved this!
They got to eat a three-course meal (with no utensils,
just as in the Medieval Era) while watching professional
jousters put on a fantastic show.”
In addition to these activities, students toured the To-
ronto Zoo and the Ontario Science Center, where they
gave a performance beneath a breathtaking crystalline
sculpture. After their performance, they had dinner at
the Toronto Hard Rock Cafe and were privileged to
hear a phenomenal concert by the Toronto Symphony
Orchestra.
They also traveled to York University, where Profes-
sor Bill Thomas worked with them on their music they
are taking to the State Contest in May. He also provided
excellent insight on Canadian culture. Lastly, after the

The league currently has ?ve softball teams and access to
two ?elds to schedule practices and games. The ?eld at Sul-
livan Park currently has drainage issues and has been unus-
able many times over the last few seasons. The high school
?eld will also be used by two additional teams in 2015. In the
spring of 2014, the BRYBSA decided the best course of action
would be to study the construction of an additional softball
?eld, constructed to engineering specs with proper drainage.
