Giving feedback to classroom teachers is a vital part of your teaching day, and for building relationships in schools. The
classroom teacher can follow up anything you have documented on their return to school. It gives you the opportunity to say
something positive feedback about your day, and to thank them for any information provided that has helped your day run
more smoothly. Find something, e.g. thank you for leaving your timetable, class list etc. If you have had some business
cards made up, staple one to the feedback sheet. Very importantly, leave the classroom as you found it and if the principal is
available, thank them for your day and tell them how much you look forward to the opportunity to come back. These
conversations will leave a positive impression on the school. Don’t forget to thank the class for a great day. (If you can)
Here are some links to blogs and websites that have lots of ideas for relief teachers e.g. feedback forms, resources, helpful
information.

each continent.
