Hsiao Zheng-Xun decides to come back to Taiwan after one explosion accident in the hospital takes away his
best friend, Brian, and suspends his mission as a doctor in Syria. However, just when he arrives at Taiwan, he
encounters another massive industrial accident in the metro system. Without second thought, he starts to help
patients with another doctor called "Teddy."  Hsiao's surgery has been reported in TV and he becomes a hero
since. Shortly, he takes a job offer as a head of a trauma team in East-Asia Hospital, where he meets his ex-girlfriend
Yang and "Teddy" again. In fact, a trauma team is the most stressful department in hospital and nobody wants to
join. "Teddy" is the rising star in East-Asia Hospital. He is very talented and confident. What is special about him
is that he has a double life. At daytime, he is a doctor; but at night he is a rapper singer. He writes sarcastic lyric of
medical system in Taiwan and has many fans underground. He volunteers to join Hsiao's trauma team many times
but keeps getting Hsiao's rejection. In the end, vice dean of East-Asia Hospital, Yang, assigns "Teddy" to trauma
team in spite of Hsiao's disagreement. 
Hsiao finally has everyone on board and trauma team is ready to go. However, a series of failed cases make
"Teddy" suffer from confidence crisis of being a doctor. Surprisingly, Hsiao encourages him and helps him get
over it. They start to form a special bonding with each other. 
On the other hand, Yang finds out the money behind trauma team is more complicated and even has something
to do with the murderer, Ye. What does Ye up to do? After all these years, the truth is still unrevealed. And
everyone needs to dig up the darkest secret of themselves to make the right decision this time.

The trip made them connect and reconnect with their respective mothers and realize a certain sense of identity.

The Best Patrol

For Chen, his life around the village has seen endless failures since he got married at seventeen. Unfinished high
school education. The quick divorce following his wife's affair while he was away for the national service. Lucky
for him, his parents came to the rescue and looked after his son Ding Ding since. With his son fast comes of age,
Chen finds himself edging toward another trough of his life. 
Worried that his electric appliance store's business heading south, Chen took up a part-time job as a security
guard for a local factory. Unfortunately the factory was burgled and Chen's injured colleague got admitted to the
hospital. Adding to the fun was Yaqin, Chen's long-time girlfriend, suddenly wanted him to tie the knot within
a month. Not sure if Yaqin was pregnant, enormous pressure mounted for Chen as the whole neighbourhood
greeted his parents for the good news.
To help catch the invisible burglars, Chen promised his dad to set up a patrol team, with the help from a bunch
of fragile neighbours. Deeply in his mind though, Chen's secret hope was to get rid of the inventory and sell the
outdated-CCTV to the village.
Just when the CCTV were successfully sold, his wedding fund was stolen. Yaqin then explained to him the wedding
was pushed forward due to the request of his cancer-stricken mom. For the safety of Chen's family and his loved
ones, he decided to lead the patrol team and protect the village from the harassing burglars.
