I would like to thank all cargo family for their immense contribution
by working 24/7 to make the cargo operation successful during
COVID-19 pandemic regardless of all the huge burden of
workload with new practices of cabin loading and increased
flow of cargo volume. I can’t express my appreciation enough to
my colleagues who were sacrificing their own and family’s health
regardless of the vulnerability of the situation with the deadly
pandemic, by focusing their time and energy to the survival of
their beloved airline. We have all worked tirelessly with passion
and commitment 24/7 and all the effort has saved our airline with
the 17000employees and their family so far.

I would also like to thank the entire management, all divisional
employees and other stakeholders for their historic contribution
to save the airline with such great achievement and I am very
happy to be part of this game changing team. Together, we
will continue making history and therefore, I encourage all to
keep this hard-work, commitment, high level of ownership
and belongingness for the future at all times regardless of
circumstances.

Africa Aviation Outlook 2020: Performance lags, pending integration

Africa continues to lag the rest of world aviation. It has the fewest annual seats, Kidist Getahun

restrictions. This gives its airlines only a small base on which to build intercontinental operations in competition

intercontinental routes.

Against this backdrop, Africa’s leading airline Ethiopian Airlines stands head and shoulders above other operators.
Ethiopian is profitable, while growing faster than any other airline in Africa’s top 10 and managing a growing
portfolio of associated subsidiaries.

Ethiopian Airlines is again Africa’s largest airline by seats, with 52% more capacity than number two EgyptAir,
80% more than third placed Royal Air Maroc, and almost double the size of fourth ranked, once market leader,
South African Airways.

A decade ago, Ethiopian was ranked fourth and South African was number one, but the two have since swapped
places. SAA, which was number one in Africa as recently as 2015, has cut its capacity by 30% over the past five
years.

As it is known, the pandemic
affected the tourism sector very
badly. And ET-Holidays being the
tour operator wing of Ethiopian
Airlines vested in promoting and
increasing the flow of tourists to
Ethiopia became hard hit victim.
Hence, we lost all sales in just a
blink of an eye, and the calls and
emails disappeared. Employees
were frustrated and the topic
worth discussing in the office was
the daily number of COVID-19
test results, and dealing with
another infamous refund request.
This made us devastated and lose
hope.

We have to be creative to turn
things around in our favor. We
held a crew meeting and discussed
how to use the time. All employees
were very happy engaging on
the discussion and came up with
valuable proposals. revising inbound package products. We revised and re-grouped existing inbound packages,
refined our standards, adjusted package price in line with the post-COVID-19 market orientation and negotiated
with suppliers. So as to get a better corporate rate.

Working on ACE

We revised our process, changed SLA, revised SOP, everybody was engaged and the assignment was delivered
properly. We adopted efficient Result Oriented approach.

Skill Training and Experience Sharing

Since there are different professionals in our department, we wanted to exploit this opportunity by organizing
training session where by staff can share their experiences and knowledge. We assigned the best instructors
among the employees and they gave presentation aided by power point. The power points are loaded on portal
so that the materials will serve as reference at any time in the future. We did the training on schedule basis and
since attendance was made mandatory, where all staff can share their experiences and knowledge. This has been
going for over a month daily and now we are moving to the second phase which will involve the aviation academy.

Eating tips during the new normal lifestyle

COVID-19 infection has become one of the major determining factors in shaping our life
styles and day to day activities. Likewise, people have to change their way of living for
maximal prevention, overcoming infection, speedy recovery and minimizing complications
and unfavorable outcomes. To mention some of these lifestyle changes include;

Healthy eating tips include;

• Eating a variety of fresh and unprocessed foods so that you will get the necessary vitamins, minerals, dietary
fiber, proteins and anti-oxidants your body needs,

• Include fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes (lentil, beans), nuts, whole grains in your daily menu,
• Choose raw vegetables and fruits instead of foods that are high in sugar, fats or salt (such as cookies,

biscuits, chocolates) for snacks. Sugar, fats and salt increase your risk of being overweight, obesity, heart
disease, diabetes and stroke.
• Drink plenty of water. Drink more if you have fever.
• If you have lost your taste or smell, you may benefit from tea with honey, fresh juice, soup made from
vegetable or meat (also known as broth),
• If you have no interest in eating or having stomach issues, limit eating hard to digest foods. Try soup
(vegetable or chicken soup), smoothie made with fruit and yogurt.
• Ginger tea may help for nausea.
• Alcohol has a dehydrating effect and inhibit your immune system, Avoid alcohol.

The best thing you can do to prevent getting sick is continuing to follow the preventive guidelines which include;

• Limiting close contact with people outside your household,
• Wear a mask when going out,
• Washing hands frequently and,
• Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces around your house and workplace.

ከዚህ መልካም ሰዉ ጋር ለሁለት አመታት ያህል በማታው የስራ ፈረቃ (evening and night) ላይ እያፈራረቅን ሰራን።እኛም
ከሱ በተማርነዉ መሰረት በስልክ አገልግሎት ፈልገው ለሚደዉሉ ደንበኞች አስደሳች አገለግሎት መስጠትን ቀዳሚ
ግባችን አደረግን።በርካታ ትኬቶችን በመሸጥ እና ከደንበኞች የጥሩ መስተንግዶ ምስክርነትን በተደጋጋሚ ማስመዝገብ
ጀመርን።የቢፍቱ የስልጠና ድካም ፍሬ መታየት ጀመረ ።የስራዉ ባህሪ በሚፈልገው መልክ ቅርፅ እየያዝን መዉጣት ጀመርን።

ቢፍቱ በስራ ብቻ ሳይሆን በማህበራዊ ነገሮቻችን እንድንጠናከር የተለያዩ ነገሮችን ያደርግ ነበር።በተለይ የሌሊት ፈረቃ
በምንሰራበት ጊዜ ጠዋት ወጥተን ወደ ሰርቪስ መያዣ ቦታ ከመሄዳችን በፊት ተሻምተን የምንበላት ትኩስ ሹሮ የፍቅራችን
ማዳበሪያ ነበረች።

ከቀኖች ባንዱ ቀን እንዲሁ አድረን ወደ ሰርቪስ ቦታ ከመሄዳችን በፊት የለመድናትን ትኩስ ሹሮ ለመብላት ተያይዘን
ወጣን።ሁላችንም እየተሻማን በአንድ ገበታ ላይ ሰንበላ ቢፍቱ ግን ተሳታፊ አልነበረም።የድካም ስሜት ላይ እንደሆነና

መብላት እንዳልፈለገ ነገረን።እኛም እንዲበላ አላስገደድነዉም።ከቁርሱ በኃላ ወደ ሰርቪስ ቦታችን አመራን።ሁሉም ወደ
ሰርቪሱ ገባ።እኔና ቢፍቱም ወደ መኪናዉ ገባን ።እኔ ሾላ -የካ ሚካኤል መሳለሚያ ጋር እወርዳለሁ፣እሱ እንግሊዝ ኢምባሲ
ጋር ወርዶ ቁልቁል ወደ ባልደራስ ይወርዳል።ጨዋታችን እንደወትሮዉ በዚህ ቀን አልነበረም።ፋታ ያልሰጠዉ እንቅልፉ
በሰርቪሱ ዉስጥ ጀመረው።

መድረሻዬ ሲደርስ “ቢፍ....ነቃ በል !እኔ ልወርድ ነዉ።ያንተም መዉረጃ ደርሷል።አልፎህ እንዳይሄድ”አልኩት።

ደንበኛ ነች።ከብዙ ሰራተኞች ጋር መግባባት አቅቷት -ቢፍቱ ነበር አረጋግቷት ከሁለት -ከሶስት ቀናት በኋላ ምላሽ ይዢ

እጠብቅሻለሁ ብሎ የሸኛት።

ማታ ላይ ቢፍቱ ቢሮ ሳይመጣ ቀረ።አሞት ይሆናል ብለን አሰብን።ደጋግመን በስልኩ ሰንደዉል አይሰራም ።አለመምጣቱ
ሲታወቅ እሱን ተክቶ የሚያድር ሌላ አለቃ ለዛን ቀን ተመደበልን።ወ/ሮ አይዳ ደስታ-በወቅቱ lead agent የነበረች።

ከጠዋቱ 1:25 አካባቢ ሲሆን በደንበኞች አገልግሎት ማግኛ ስልክ ላይ ተደውሎ “የቢፍቱ አክስት ነኝ።ቢፍቱ አርፏል”የሚል
በለቅሶ የታጀበ ድምጽ ተሰማ።ስልኩን ያነሳው ሰራተኛ ደነገጠ፤የእሱ የድንጋጤ ስሜት ቢሮዉ ላይ ተስተጋባ።የጉዳዩ ምንነት
ያልገባን እኛም ደነገጥን።ለመናገር ፈራ።ቀስ ብሎ ለአይዳ ነገራት።ከፍተኛ የድንጋጤ ድምጽ አሰማች።የኛም ጉጉት ጨመረ ።

ወዲያው የተደወለበትን ስልክ ቁጥር አዉጥታ መልሳ ደወለችበት።”የቢፍቱ አክስት ነኝ ፣ ቢፍቱ ሞቷል።”የሚል መርዶ ብዙ
ባሳለፍንበት ቢሮ ዉስጥ ሰማን።ከባድ የድንጋጤ ስሜት ቢሮዉ ላይ ወረደ።የሚያስፈራ ዝምታ-ህልም የሚመስል የሞት
ዜና!።ግን ህልምም አልነበረም።

እዉነት ነበር። ከደቂቃዎች በኃላ ቢሮዉ ወደ ለቅሶ ቤትነት ተቀየረ።-የማይረሳ ቀን።ከቢፍቱ ጋር የመጨረሻ ቀን ንግግራችን
የመሰነባበቻ ነበረች ላካ።ምናልባት ያቺ ያልተሳተፈባት የመጨረሻ ቀን የሹሮዋ ጉርሻ ዕድሜን መቀጠያ በረከት ትሆን ይሆን?
ብዬ ከሞቱ በኃላ አሰባለሁ።ምን ነበር ግን አብሮን በበላ ኖሮ! “የማታ ሰዉ ይበለን” ያለኝ ከሰርቭስ ስወርድ ማታ ላይመጣ
ነበር ለካ።

ከቢፍቱ ድንገተኛ ሞት በኃላ ቢሮዉ ለተወሰኑ ቀናት የሀዘን ቤት ድንኳን መሰለ።ቀዘቀዘ። ከምንም በላይ ግን ቢፍቱን ፈልጎ
ለሚደዉል ደንበኛ መሞቱን መንገር አስቸጋሪ ነበር።

ከቀናት በኃላ ወ/ሮ ስምረት ቢፍቱን ፍለጋ ደወለች።ንዴቷ ጨምሯል።ስድብ እና ዛቻ አዘል ንግግሯን በስልክ አዘነበችዉ።

“ቢፍቱ.......ይ....ቅ...ርታ የለም እኔ ምን ልርዳዎ?” ብሎ መለሰላት ስልኩን ያነሳው ሰራተኛ ።ዝርዝር ነገሩን መንገሩ አስፈላጊ

ሳላልመሰለዉ።

“ምን ማለት ነዉ? የለም ማለት!? ዉሸታሞች! ሻንጣዬን እፈልጋለሁ ይገባሀል! አጣርቼ እነግርሻለዉ ያለኝ የለም ለማስባል
ነው! .....ባለጌዎች.....” ብዙ ...ብዙ የስድብ ናዳዎችን በአማርኛ እና በእንግሊዝኛ አዘነበችዉ።

ስሜቱን ዋጥ አርጎ ሲያዳምጥ የነበረው ሰራተኛ ቀስ ብሎ፣”....ይኸዉልዎት ወ/ሮ ስምረት ....ቢፍቱ በድንገተኛ ሞት ተለይቶን

ሁላችንም በሀዘን ዉስጥን።የርስዎን የሻንጣ ጉዳይ ሌሎች አለቆች እየተከታተሉት ነዉ።የደረሱበትንም ተከታትለዉ በቅርቡ
ያሳዉቆታል።ቢፍቱ ግን ሞቷል...” ብሎ ንግግሩን ሳይጨርስ እንባዉ ቀደመው ።

ወ/ሮ ስምረት በድንጋጤም፣በሀዘንም፣በፀፅትም ስሜት ውስጥ ወዲያው ገብታ ቅዝቅዝ አለች። አለቀሰች ።በሚሰማዉ
የለቅሶ ድምፅ ዉስጥ ስሜቷን መረዳት ቀላል ነበር።የሻንጣዉን ጉዳይ እረስታ የቢፍቱን ሞት እርም አወጣች።

ሀዘን ለካ የሰው የጋራ ስሜት ነዉ።በንግግሯ ተፀፀተች።እንደዛ በትህትና አረጋግቷት ሊረዳት ቃል የገባለትን ደግ ሰዉ ሞት
ቀደመው ።ከቀናት በኃላ ቢፍቱ ጀምሮት የነበረው የወ/ሮ ስምረት የጠፋ ሻንጣ ተገኝቶ በአድረሻዋ ተላከላት።

አንዳንድ ጊዜ አንዳንድ ሰዎች በህይወታችን የሚታወሱበት
መልካም ዘርን ዘርተው ያልፋሉ።ቢፍቱ ፋንቴ ለእኔ ለመሰል
ጓደኞቼ በመጀመሪያዉ የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ የስራ ጊዜያችን
መልካምነትን፣ቅንነትን እና ተባባሪነትን በበላንበት ገበታ ዙሪያ
አስተምሮን አልፏል።ፈጣሪ በገነት ያኑርህ-አንተ መልካም ሰዉ።

Cabin-Cargo Aircraft Modification

The outbreak of coronavirus and subsequent crisis due to countries’ lockdown forced every airline to relinquish.
Most aircraft became grounded and preserved. However, some airlines strived to sustain by government financial
aid to run limited operations. This situation boosted the demand for humanitarian aid cargo operations. But there
were limited cargo aircraft in-service.

Due to unprecedented change, aircraft manufacturers and regulatory bodies have engaged to design new options
for airlines to modify the interior of the aircraft for good transportations. Some operators start using the cargo
seat bag kit to transport up to 125 Kg cargo per triple seat block.

Cargo seat bags can transport household goods, postal correspondence, medical equipment; loading on seats
which restricts voluminous items in the cabin. The preliminary modification in the passenger cabin for cargo
purposes may allow aircraft to double capacity. The modification was to remove some seats and load the cargo
in between the empty floor spaces. Ethiopian took the lead to start the modification quickly.

During those panic days, a message came from GECO to Engineering to convert passenger aircraft for cargo
operation. Starting from that day, a lot of participants involved to release the first cargo converted aircraft to the
air. Engineering, Maintenance, Cargo, Marketing, and others were working as a team. Everyone was dedicated
and took ownership to execute the duties since the team knew its final goal.

MRO is a fascinating area for physical work to dismantle and reconstruct aircraft bodies. It is a place where real
teamwork is always exercised. Some of the major Engineering and Maintenance projects:

• Changing B787s & B777s Business class seats into Full flatbed.

• Upgrading B767-300 Cabin with spacious Business Class and Wi-Fi IFE.

• Internet connectivity in A350 and B777

• Ongoing Internet connectivity project on B787s and B737Max.

A series of quick decisions made by the management and the ability of each division to convert every direction to
the implementation made Ethiopian superior.

“ሰላም ጤና ይስጥልኝ”

My name is Bhavinkumar Vyas. I work at Mumbai
station in India as a technical manager. Most of you,
my friends and colleagues know me as “Raju” which
is a nick name that I was given and known by. I am
married and have two kids. My wife is an officer
at air-India. My son is aspiring pilot who recently
acquired the “commercial pilot’s licence -Cpl”
and my younger daughter is a second year college
student who aspires and thrives to be a wild-life
photographer, an animal lover and member of an
organization like “peta”, who takes care of stray
and abandoned animals.

How do you feel about Ethiopian Airlines
as an employee?

It has been a very special journey for all these long
years of association with Ethiopian airlines. I will
not disclose the number of years for my service as I
keep wishing that I can be able to continue to serve
the airline for the same number of years. But, it feels
like less because I can’t even get enough of it and
by now you also may be guessing my age.

Technical manager, Mumbai station has been perfectly professional and hassle-free work

environment. I got more and more professionally

responsible as days, months, years kept passing

by. I am now holding six of our current fleet type-

ratings on B-737/757/767/777/787 and A-350. and this gives me great pride, not because I am rated on these

airplanes, but because I feel proud that ET has had such a great faith in me and my abilities that they gave me this

opportunity/responsibility to do so that gave me a great sense of satisfaction that I have somewhat lived up to

that mark, so far.

Do you have any message that you would like to say to your colleagues and all staff?

I can only say to all my fellow Ethiopians that we are blessed, privileged and lucky. We got the opportunities to
be part of this great organization and we all must be indebted and we all must flaunt that by selflessly giving in
our 110% to keep that “አረንጓዴ ቢጫ ቀይ” flying very high for eternity, even after we leave or retire, we can see
that tri-color soaring to greatest heights and we watch that with great emotions of pride and nostalgia and we
can say “የኔ አየር መንገድ” with our chests bursting with “ኩራት”..

Last but not the last, my wife often says, “ET is your first love” and it will always remain like that, until I breathe
my last breath and my heart will always say I love you Ethiopia.

Entoto park ET-Star

ENTOTO PARK

Entoto Park was inaugurated on October 10, 2020 by the Ethiopian Prime Minster Dr. Abiy Ahmed in the
presence of high government officials and invited guests. Entoto park is part of the “Sheger Beautifying” project
which is aiming at changing the appearance of the capital city Addis Ababa and to boost Ethiopia’s Tourism
Sector. The park is equipped with various indoor and outdoor facilities, such as sport centres, library, restaurants,
coffee shops, horse riding, bike riding, artificial lake and fountain. It is expected to become one of the focal points
of tourist attractions. The facilities in turn, have created job opportunities for many women who were leading
miserable life by carrying firewood.

Entoto is densely forested area and it is widely considered as the lung of Addis Ababa. Many of Ethiopia’s long
distance legend runners have been using Entoto forest for training. Entoto has fascinating attractions and features;
A historical protectorate with the reliability of a cliff fortress, A canyon of adorable beauty and lush greenery,
the resting place from the era of dreams, fresh well-fragrance of highland, Clear and pleasant hiking trails. The
rising shoulder of the mountain’s massif and Spring water bath of the high plateau reflects the extensive view of
the area. It is the crown wild forest of the ancient and healing capacity of native wildlife. Entoto is a historical
place where Negus Menelik while he was serving as King of Shewa resided and built his palace. It is also hosting
different celebrated churches, namely Entoto Mariam, Kedus Raguel, Kedus Elias and Washa Mikael Churches
from different eras.

For visitors who love a combination of nature, varied topography and wildlife amidst spectacular scenery, spacious
Entoto Park offer spectacular views of the surrounding areas along with the rich scent of eucalyptus trees and

What is Management of Change (MOC)?

Safety Assurance, the 3rd pillar of Safety Management System (SMS) has 3 elements; Safety Performance
Monitoring and Measurement, Management of Change and Continuous Improvement.

Management of Change is a formal process for systematic and proactive identification of hazards and of
appropriate mitigation strategies and measures, to be applied to all changes concerning the safety of services
provided by an aviation organization.

The Need for Management of Change (MOC)

Aviation organizations experience permanent change due to expansion, contraction, changes to existing systems,
equipment, programs, products and services, and introduction of new equipment or procedures. Changes may
be external to the organization, or internal.

A change can introduce new hazards, impact the appropriateness of existing safety risk mitigation strategies and/
or impact the effectiveness of existing safety risk mitigation means.

A formal change management process should identify changes within the organization which may affect established
processes, procedures, products and services. All necessary arrangements to ensure safety performance should be
identified and described prior to implementing changes. The result of this process is the reduction in the safety
risks resulting from changes in the provision of services by the organization to as low as reasonably practical
(ALARP) level.

MOC at Ethiopian Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (ET-MRO)

As an approved maintenance organization, ET-MRO is implementing SMS and therefore, performing management
of change activities to identify hazards that may be introduced due to changes, prior to implementing the changes.

All stakeholders, especially management personnel are expected to report planned changes in their operations
so that MOC can be implemented to reduce the safety risks associated with the changes to as low as reasonably
practical (ALARP) level.

Ethiopian In-flight catering (IFC) built in 1968 on a 3260 square meters of land and expanded in 2016 on 11,500
square meters. It has a capacity of producing 100, 000 meals per day on average more than 125 flights.

Traditional Military Titles of Ethiopians

Let us start by asking oneself very simple question- Am
I acquainted with the traditional military titles held
by Ethiopians? What comes to your mind listening
to a person proudly asserting that h/she is the son/
daughter of a Dejazmach or Fitawarari etc? The
person intends to convey a message that s/he belongs
to honorific and the high-ranking family member
of pre-1966 Ethiopian societal structure. Sure,
the holders of such titles were enjoying numerous
privileges by the virtue of the position bestow on
them by the monarchs.

We do not exactly know the time when traditional
military titles started to apply. Evidences show that
titles like azmch were in use in the palace of the
Axumite rulers. In the medieval period, most of the
titles described herein became prominent in the kings’
courts. The titles were conferred up on the holders by
respective sovereign Kings (Negues) or King of Kings
(Neguse Negest). The titles were offered until 1966
EC for military service merit or for being a member
of hereditary nobility. As a matter of fact, some of the
titles were also used as court titles. Prominent military
titles sanctioned by the monarchs were;

• Ras ( ራስ, “Head”)-Is the highest
non-imperial title in the land.

of the “Leul Rases” were titled as Leul Dejazmach

• Fit’awrari (ፊትአውራሪ, “Commander of the Vanguard”)-commander of the vanguard of a traditional
Ethiopian armed force. Ranks behind a Dejazmatch. Fitawrari Imperial is a title given to the Minister of
Defense.

• Grazmach (ግራዝማች, “Commander of the Left wing”)-commander of the left wing of a traditional
Ethiopian armed force.

• Qenyazmach (ቀኛዝማች, “Commander of the Right wing”)-commander of the right wing of a traditional
Ethiopian armed force.

• Azmach (አዝማች, “Commander of the Rearguard”) -commander of the rearguard of a traditional
Ethiopian armed force. This was usually a trustworthy counselor and the leader’s chief minister.

• Balambaras (ባላምባራስ, “Commander of an Amba or fortress”)-commanders of the guards, artillery or
cavalry of a traditional Ethiopian armed force, basically a man entrusted with important commands.

• Basha (ባሻ “Commander of a rifle corps”)-a company of squad-sized unit.

Ashaaaaaam-አሻም

You always use the word “Ashaaaaaam”, many staff even call you Mengistu Asham. Do you
have any different reason for that?

It’s true that ‘Ashaaaaaaaaaaaam’ is my personal way of saying “greetings” in all my communication with people be it verbal or written.
Same way, it’s my family formal greeting style that includes an extended to our closest relatives too. I know that ‘Ashaaaam’ is used to greet
a person in the Southern Ethiopia (Arsi, Bale and Sidamo) including parts of the region in Kaffa.

Since I have been using ‘ Ashaaaam’ from the first day of my recruitment joining Ethiopian Airlines, every single staff of ET from bottom to
the highest ladder of organization structure and all functional and operational offices, know me better by ‘Ashaaaaaaaam’ my unique and
unofficially patented identification. Sometimes, the number of ‘a’ length and repetition specially in my written communication shows my
inner feeling and mood to the subject and also that of addressed recipient.

Please share your thoughts on any good or educational experiences you encountered?

Well, life is full of challenges and mysterious treasures. Every day comes with its own giving and uniqueness be it good or bad. Personally,
I don’t believe in “bad” destiny. Every single day of my life is different from the preceding past bringing a new line of continuation and
one more chance to breath a fresh oxygen of peaceful life, exploit the gift of nature and grasp ample opportunities ahead of me. There are
so many things happening in one’s life time. Our life experiences may be categorized as good and bad memories. in principle, I don’t like
to emphasize or talk more on the ‘bad’ ones; rather, pick those good times and memories which make my future life smooth, simplified,
courageous and full of hope. I have an enjoyable past throughout my 28 years of service working as dedicated and devoted employee of
Ethiopian family.

Any additional messages you have to your colleagues?

There is nothing that gives you joy and satisfaction than being part of a National Airlines which acclaimed global recognitions for its
continued and sustainable growth both in its size, scope of services and financial achievements. Success is the fruit of honesty, full dedication,
devotion, highly engaging management directives and wilful engagement of employees giving 24/7 of their time. And capacity using
all available resources wisely and efficiently. Ethiopian has a very strong result oriented Executive Management, unbreakable and time-
tested developed work culture, uniquely loyal, high caliber dedicated Staff, strict and also flexible policies and procedures. We are on the
verge of celebrating 75 years of success story of our beloved Airlines especially at the COVID- 19 challenging season With an amazing
and rare performance, we have become one of the only three airlines in the world that have become profitable. I would like to say
CONGRATULATIONS to all of us at ETHIOPIAN and stand firm hoping to see more bright years of success through our individual
and collective contribution, as always.

“በግ እንዴት ይበላል?” - የሚል “ያ’ዘን” ፅሁፍ - በትልቅ አ’ፅፈው፥ ሲጮሁ ስላየ - “ለቅሶ ላይ ነኝ” ብሎ - ለበግ
ይቀመጣል፤ በጉን ሳሎን አስሮ - አብሮ ’ያለቀሰ - ዶሮ ያሻሽጣል::

የሚልንም ጩኸት - ሞኝ ነው ያቦካው::

አትክልት ሻጮች - በህዝቡ ስጋ ’ምሮት - ገበያ ስላጡ፥

“ነፍስ እንዴት ይጠፋል? - ስጋ ’ንዴት ይበላል?” - ብለው በጠበጡ::

ሞኝ ተቀብሎ - ያረባውን መንጋ - አይና’ይኑን እያየ፥

አብሮ “ነፍስ አይጠፋም!” - ብሎ እየጮኸ - በራ’ብ ተሰቃየ::

የጠላቸው ጠላት - “ጋጡን!” ብሎ ሲጮህ - አብሮ “ጋጡን” አለ፤ “ጠላቶቹን” ሊያወርድ - ከሚጮሁት ጋራ - በጩኸት
