Immunoratio
Worked with Immuno Ratio web application which is used for automating image and can
analyze estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and Ki-67 immunostained
tissue sections assessment helps in the histopathologic diagnostics of breast cancer. I used
this application to analyze patient samples from Emory University to get the exact
location and number of effected cells in the tissue sections. I also used MatLab to process
the large tissue section images to make it work with immunoratio.

PhD student budget analysis

 Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University

Synthesis of Cannabidiol using genetic engineering techniques
Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid used in the treatment of epilepsy and
different cancers such as breast cancer, colon cancer and all the endocrine tumors. I tried
to produce cannabidiol by using genetic engineering techniques, transforming the
plasmid containing CBDA synthase cDNA into agrobacterium vectors and pichia
pastoris. Agrobacterium vectors are transfected into the roots of tobacco plants and also
inserted into pichia to produce Cannabidiol.

DNA Barcoding
DNA Barcoding is used to find the genetic sequences of plants and animals. I
implemented and tested this experiment to be cost effective and prepared protocol. I
divided this experiment into exercises for lab manual to implement this experiment in
Biology freshmen lab.

 Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University

2) Principles of Biology
3) Molecular and cell Biology lab

Responsibilities:
 Assisting professor with curriculum.
 Helping professor managing the lab.
 Mentoring / helping students with subject and lab experiments.
 Grading student papers

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

 Library Management System
Library management system provides user friendly interface to both library users and
employees. This project allows users to handle their accounts without any technical
knowledge and library staff can easily maintain user accounts and records of books. I
used HTML, PL/SQL, Oracle, PHP and MySQL to build this Database.

 Online Registration Website
Online conference registration website allows authors from all over the world to present
their technical papers. Registrations are also available for both authors and people who
just wish to attend the conference. I used PL/SQL, JavaScript, Oracle, PHP, CSS,
MySQL and SQL server

 Dynamic Programming
This technique is used to solve complex problems by breaking the problem into group of
simpler problems. I used Java and Needleman/Wunsch algorithm for building this tool;
this program accepts two sequences and builds matrix to find the best global alignment
by generating alignment score between the sequences. These globally aligned sequences
are displayed.

 Formulation and evaluation of Histamine blocker LORATIDINE
Loratidine is a compound marketed under trade names Claritin. This drug is used to
relieve the symptoms of hay fever and other allergies. It acts as selective inverse agonist
of peripheral histamine H1-receptors. It is formulated into drug using cellulose, starch,
and mannitol and magnesium stearate. It is physically (hardness and friability) and
chemically (dissolution and stability studies) evaluated.
