Club 166 - MLCCC Video & Photo Club Club166 is the name of our Video & Photo Club. It was founded by Mr. Li, Lu. They met in Room 166 each week when the club began. 李路(Li, Lu) President James Xiong, Daniel Huang, Leon Lu, Rachel Hao, Larry Han, Leah Gao, Xiuru Sun, Yawen Peng. What began as a Photo Club to capture the precious moments of our students’ lives blossomed into a media production powerhouse that has produced not only tens of thousands of photos and videos, but also dozens of episodes for “MLCCC Spotlight”, “MLCCC Podcast”, and “MLCCC Vlog”, all within the last seven years or so and through the pandemic. The aim of all this hard work is to provide multiple platforms and opportunities for our students to use the Chinese they learned within the classrooms and reinforce their public speaking abilities. “MLCCC Spotlight” are video reports or interviews of our school’s events and distinguished persons, hosted mainly by our students. “MLCCC Podcast” are audio recordings of stories, narrated, illustrated, and musically accompanied by our students. “MLCCC Vlog” are video blogs by our students of their experiences.
