What?

Viva Dança is the first dance convention to come
to Portugal. It is designed to showcase the best
dancers, teachers, choreographers, colleges,
conservatories and brands from across Europe,
through workshops, mainstage peformances,
exhibitor stands and a championship.
Bringing them all together for one day (9am-6pm)
we hope to create an opportunity for Portuguese
dancers to discover their further dance education
opportunities,and likewise for dance colleges to
discover Portuguese talent. Throughout the day,
knowledge will be imparted, skills will be gained
and the love of dance can be shared amongst  like-
minded people.

Event WORKSHOPS

STANDS  outstanding teachers from all over Europe, 6 multi-purpose

The best products for dance, sport and well-being, studios with over 30 master classes to choose from, the
cosmetics, photography and much more
styles taught by the industry experts will be in ballet,

contemporary, jazz, commercial & musical theatre.

DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP TECHNICAL ZONE

An all styles, group only competition created to push dancers Ballet technique – barre, centre  practice ,pirouettes, allegro,
and choreographies to use creativity and innovation.
Minimum 12 per group adage, pointe. (A different focus per hour)
20 groups maximum
STRENGTH ZONE
IMPROVISATION COMPETITION 
Progressive Ballet Technique, Pilates, Floor Barre, Yoga
sign up on the day, 1 min freestyle (any style) 2 hours
competition split juniors and seniors (Exercises to help dancers)

CONFERENCES  AUDITIONS

Teaches TBC To colleges, conservatories and other dance institutions.

EXPECTATION

We anticipate 1,500- 2000 visitors coming through the door

for the inaugural day event.

Colleges, institutions, conservatories or dance brands  

Requirements:
o   Covering all costs (travel, accommodation, food) for teachers to provide 6 workshops (style to be agreed)
o   Front banner for the studio
o   Social media promotion of event (prior and after)
o   (Optional) Exhibitor stand with 25% discount
o   (Optional) Invitation to perform on the showcase stage

In return:
o   Opportunity to hold Portuguese auditions for 2019/20 school year
o   Exposure to 2,000 Portuguese dancers
o   Inclusion on all advertising
