Curricular Activities
♦ Book-Bank Scheme - Under this scheme total 97 students availed of the benefits this year, from Degree

(33), Junior (10), Self-Financed Professional Courses (36) & Post Graduate Courses (18). They were
given full sets of text books for both the Semesters.

Co-curricular Activities
♦ “Orientation Programme”:- As a Part of a User Education an Orientation Programme was organized

for the First Year students of Junior College (FYJC) in this Academic year on 26th & 27th October 2021
in the Assembly Hall. Total 120 students were present for this program.

Extra-curricular Activities

⮚ “Arti of Ma Saraswati” was arranged on the ninth auspicious day of the “Navratri” festival on
7th October 2021 in the library. Few Students and Non-Teaching Staff participated.

⮚ DTSSLRC organized "Book-Mark Making Video Competition" under the head of
"Library Competition Mania 2021-22" On the Theme “Motivational Quotes on
Reading Habit” Video presentation was held on the occasion of the 90th Birth
Anniversary of Late President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to celebrate "Vaachan
Prerana Din" on 14.10.2021 at 1.30 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. on Google Meet. Total
Responses Received: 36.

⮚ Digital Bookshelf was published on the occasion of the 90th Birth Anniversary of Late
President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to celebrate "Vaachan Prerana Din" on
14.10.2021, which included many Book Reviews of Books written by Dr. APJ Abdul
Kalam; as well as his story was displayed through various Videos from You Tube.

⮚ Organized “Book-Mark Making Video Competition" under the head of "Library
Competition Mania 2021-22" On the Theme “Motivational Quotes on Reading Habit”
for SYJC 26 in November 2021.

⮚ Organized “Book-Mark Making Competition" under the head of "Library Competition
Mania 2021-22" On the Theme “Quotes on Reading” for FYJC 48 students in winter
vacation i.e. in Dec 2021-Jan 2022. 26 SYJC & 48 FYJC, total 74 Junior College
students participated in these competitions.

♦ Total 110 student-participants took part in all these Library Competitions.

In this Academic Year i.e. 2021-22 total 279 Books were purchased, costing Rs. 1,35,618/-
till 03/03/2022 as under. Total Collection of the library is: 64793.

She has been Conferred a Global Librarian’s Award 2021 from AKS Education, in a

Successfully completed 7 days Faculty Development Program on “Course Launch
Accelerator” organized by the IQAC & Self-Finance Department of St.Gonsalo Garcia
College of Arts & Commerce, Vasai sponsored by WRC-ICSSR from 21st March to 28th
