Myron Edward Newsom was born in Los Angeles, California on
April 29, 1960, to the late Ralph and Emma Newsom. He was the
fifth child of this union and one of nine children total.

Myron, at a very early age, was baptized by Elder Otis Grider at
Stairway to Victory Church of God in Christ. There, Myron was a
faithful attendee alongside his mother until the family later
migrated to Pastor Myra B. Cotton’s God’s Temple of Deliverance
Church in Compton, CA.

Myron attended Dominguez High School in Compton California
where he would later go onto Job Corp with his brother Darrell.

Myron never married nor had the blessing to have children. Prior
to suffering what is known today as traumatic brain injury, his
favorite past times were fishing, gardening, owning guns, riding
motorcycles, go-carts, mini bikes and exploring.

Myron was preceded in death by his mother, father, and nephews;
Roderick Newsom and Kent Jr. He leaves to mourn four brothers;
Wendell Newsom, Darrell Newsom, Herman Newsom, and Kent
Newsom Sr. Four sisters; Deborah Jones, Stephanie Newsom,
Bridget Newsom, and Alitoshe Lewis. One uncle; Paul Newsom.
Brother in-law; Butch Jones. Sister in-laws; Uta and Ruby Newsom
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
