Our company was founded in 1945 by Dwight Andrus, Sr. and has since grown to become
one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Louisiana. After seven decades in
business, we are proud to be one of the few remaining privately-owned and operated
insurance agencies of our size in the state.

Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors

Dwight W. Andrus, III brings more than 41 years of experience and expertise in
insurance brokerage services to his position as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Over
the past 30 years, Dwight and his brother David have guided the company through a
remarkable period of growth and success. What began as a small insurance agency in
1945 has since grown to become one of Louisiana’s largest independent insurance
agencies. Today, Dwight Andrus Insurance employs a staff of more than 100
professionals at four locations – and has grown 20-fold in revenue since 1985.







Chief Technology Information Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors

David W. Andrus draws upon more than 32 years of knowledge and experience in
insurance brokerage services in serving as CTIO of Dwight Andrus Insurance. David
attended Louisiana State University before joining the company in 1986 with a focus
on personal lines insurance sales. During the late 1980s he added IT support to his skills
and responsibilities – and went on to assume a more active role in executive
management of the company in the early 1990s. Along with his brother, Dwight,
David has played an integral role in growing Dwight Andrus Insurance into one of the
largest independent insurance agencies in the state of Louisiana.




Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board of Directors
Reed G. Andrus began his career in the real estate development and investment
business in 1981 after having earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University
of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), now UL Lafayette. His career experiences for over 36
years have qualified Reed in many diverse professional real estate disciplines including
project development, asset management, investment, finance, brokerage, consulting,
and property leasing and management. Today, Reed serves as a Trust Partner and
principal manager for Andrus Investments, LLC, a family real estate investment
company. As Treasurer of Dwight Andrus Insurance, Reed directs the company in the
areas of finance , business analytics and reporting. He assists the CEO and President in
analyzing strategic growth and expansion opportunities for the company.




President of Dwight W. Andrus Insurance, Inc. and Member of the Board of Directors
Dwight W. Andrus, IV brings over a decade of insurance brokerage service experience
to his positions as Producer and President of Dwight Andrus Insurance. Having worked
in every division of the company, Dwight is well prepared to lead the company through
the fourth generation of family management. Dwight joined the company in a full time
capacity in 2006, immediately after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration
degree at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Dwight remains dedicated to his
industry as an active member of industry organizations such as The Council for
Insurance Agents & Brokers, Independent Insurance Agents of Louisiana, and
Professional Insurance Agents of Acadiana. Dwight is currently serving on the
following insurance carrier agency councils: LA Workers Compensation Corporation,
Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and United Fire Group.

Vice President of Marketing and Member of the Board of Directors

After attending the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Peggy began her insurance
career at Allstate Insurance. She obtained her insurance license in 1976 and joined our
team in June of 1978. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing, she works
internally to identify market availability by designated classes of business, meets with
Company and Broker representatives to discuss production goals, loss ratios and other
products in the marketplace. Peggy also develops contacts with potential new
markets offering products that would be beneficial to our clients. Internally, Peggy
coordinates with our sales team in marketing both new and renewal Commercial Lines
of business.




Legal Counsel and Member of the Board of Directors

Mark Andrus joined the Dwight Andrus companies as General Counsel in 2005. He
has broad experience in the practice of business transactional law and litigation,
insurance and insurance agency law and commercial real estate transactions and
leasing. Mark served as an Assistant Examiner for the Committee on Bar
Admissions, Supreme Court of the State of Louisiana from 1998 until 2014 for the
Code III part of the Louisiana Bar Exam. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar
Association and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. A
native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mark earned his B.A. degree in 1977 as well as his J.D.
degree in 1980 from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining Dwight Andrus as
General Counsel, he was an attorney in private practice for 25 years.





Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors

Phil Garzotto joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 1996 to serve as Chief Financial
Officer. Phil is a Certified Public Accountant with a broad range of responsibilities
including managing all areas of accounting, financial reporting and analysis, manager
of internal audit, ensuring regulatory compliance, asset and structure mergers and
acquisitions. Phil earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the
University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL-Lafayette) in 1986. Upon graduation,
he began his career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Prejean, Thibodeaux, David,
Hebert, CPA. In 1988, he was recruited by Broussard, Poche, Thibodeaux, David,
Hebert CPA, as an Audit Supervisor. Phil left the public accounting field in 1993 and
entered private business at USI Financial Services before accepting the position of




Chief Sales Officer

Charlie Babineaux joined Dwight Andrus Insurance Agency in 2005 and serves as
Vice President of Sales and as a Commercial Sales Executive. He holds the
designations of Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager. Charlie is
a native of New Iberia, Louisiana and has spent most of his life in the Acadiana area.
He is a graduate of Catholic High School and went on to attend the University of
Mississippi as a student athlete where he received a relevant and rigorous education
from the Risk Management and Insurance (RIM) program. Upon graduation, he
spent multiple seasons in the San Francisco Giants organization as a professional
baseball player.
