Achievements

Roy Long & Jim Thibault have both completed Pathways Level 5!
Roy Long has received his ACG (Advanced Communicator Gold)!
Margaret Mao has completed a Youth Leadership Program at Agincourt Library!
Congratulations, to you all and keep up the great work!

Holiday Party

Our holiday party this year will be held at Super Buffet on December 19th. There will be
no formal Toastmasters meeting held on this day. Members are welcomed to attend
and bring their loved ones. A $10-15 gift is required for our gift exchange at the party..
The fee is $35/person, which includes unlimited food, tips, taxes and a drink.

International Speech Contest 2019

The International Speech Contest 2019 is fast approaching. Our local club contest will
be held on January 23rd, 2019. Members that are interested in participating should
prepare their speeches for this date. The local club contest winner will represent
Scarborough Toastmasters 3090 in the Area Club Contest.

"Apart from public speaking, Toastmasters is a great place to collaborate and network
with individuals who share the same goals and vision, which is to become a better
version of ourselves.  In a society, where there is a lot of judgement and criticism,
Toastmasters gives us a platform to overcome these obstacles.  Toastmasters
International has recently introduced the Pathways program, which is definitely a
quick way for passionate individuals to get started in their speaking journey.  If you
haven't visited our club, please do.  Our doors are always open!"
