RMIT and UPH requested an edgy and modern design
for the prospectus that would appeal for both students
and parents.

MANUAL BOOK

This book contains Pelita Harapan University or well-known as UPH is a
informations about private Christian university located in Lippo Village,
the enrollment, Tangerang, Indonesia, under Pelita Harapan Education
procedures, and forms Foundation. UPH was founded in 1994.
for those who want
to apply for the study The admission manual is an annual book which is made
programs in UPH. for prospective students who want to enroll to the
university programs.

For 2016, UPH requested a simple blue theme cover for
the manual book. For the cover, I made a simple layout
with vector illustration of the iconic building of UPH
combined with the eagle-eye view of UPH’s overall
landscape for the background.

For the content, they requested a systematic and clean
design with a high legibility and readibility. I used a
modern sans-serif typeface for the content.

HAIR•BEAUTY•SPA

The name “Alora” Alora is a beauty salon established in West

They requested a menu book that represents
beauty with a clean and fresh look for their
layout. For the menu book I used blue theme as
the color palette. Blue is considered beneficial
to the mind and body. It produces a calming
effect and strongly associated with cleanliness,
tranquility and calmness. I made a simple and
clean layout for the menu, using simple serif
typeface for the title and simple sans serif
typeface for the bodytext and captions. I made
tulip flower illustration for the supergraphic to
represent beauty. Tulips also express genuine
coziness and comfort.

MONOLOG QUALITY
COFFEE CO.

Monolog Quality Coffee Co. is a coffee shop, cafe, and
restaurant located in Plaza Senayan, Jakarta. Monolog
is not an ordinary coffee shop. Unlike others coffee
shop, Monolog also offers regular meals and desserts.
The atmoshphere in Monolog is really vibrant and they
have a distinctive interior decor, it’s cozy and warm.

For the menu, they requested a simple, clean, and
modern design for the menu that fits the concept of
the shop/cafe/restaurant.

The menu is A3 two
sided board, made
from thick samson
and black paper with
compartments for
menus (meals, etc.).

DECANTER PRINT DESIGN
WINE & FOOD

Decanter Wine & Food (previously Decanter Wine
House) is an upscale wine house and restaurant,
it is a home for wine and food lovers, as well as
connoisseurs. This restaurant/cafe is located in Plaza
Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan. It offers scrumptious food
and various good wine collections with a nice place,
cozy ambient and atmosphere.

Decanter Wine & Food wanted to revamp their cellar
and they requested the design for wine tag and tasting
note. They requested an elegant and fun design for the
wine tag and tasting note. I made series for the wine
tag/tasting note using vintage style illustrations and
different colors for the illustrations in every series.
The tasting note is designed on the back of the wine
tag for efficiency.

Decanter Wine & Food also requested a Christmas
themed tentcard for their tables on the Christmas
event. I made a elegant and simple red & gold themed
Christmas tentcard for them.

Garçon is a French GARCON BISTRO,
bistro, bar, and BAR & PATISSERIE
patisserie. Garçon
literally means a Garçon Bistro, Bar & Patisserie is a bistro located in
“boy” in French. Plaza Senayan Mall, Jakarta. The owner of Garçon
Bistro, Bar & Patisserie was really inspired by the
beauty of art deco. That’s why, he requested a modern
and masculine design with the touch of art deco feel.

For the name card design, I used art deco inspired
patterns as the supergraphic. The art deco pattern is
really substantial for the design, hence I made series
for the name card with different patterns on each. I
also made a clean and simple composition or layout
for the design to represent modernism and keep the
readability as much as possible.

For the color palette, I used 3 colors; black and white
with a little touch of gold to give a contrast and also
to give a prestige, elegant, and glamour effect. The
typeface used in the design is a modern, light, and
simple typeface.

FREQUENT PERFORMING
ART COMPANY

FREQUENT is a performing art company and PRINT DESIGN
a production house. FREQUENT is a one stop
The name card has entertainment crew for all sorts of event and
a UV Spot finishing ocassions, it produces amazing performances, from
effect over the logo vocal performances, to dances, acts, and many more.
FREQUENT Performing
Art Company. The founders of FREQUENT requested a youthful,
colorful, edgy, and modern name card that is suitable
with their concept. To meet their need, I made a design
that covers all of the criteria. I used geometrical shapes
such as triangles, rectangles, and dots to reflect the
edginess and modernism. The bold and colorful palette
used in the design also represent youthfullness.

In this case, I made two series of name card for two
of the founders, Frida and Evelinn. Frida is a tomboy
and has a very strong masculine side, on the contrary,
Evelinn is very feminine and sweet, yet edgy. The
series basically have the same structure and layout, the
difference is in the color palette that customized with
their distinct character.

UPH’S PARENTS
GATHERING

Parents Gathering is an annual event that held by Pelita AD & PUBLISHING
Harapan University (UPH). This event was intended for
Pictures on the left prospective student’s parents, to introduce and inform
are the poster design them about UPH and their study programs. Every year,
for UPH’s Parents UPH held this event in different cities in Indonesia,
Gathering for 4 areas. such as Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, and Semarang.

For this event, I made advertising and publishing they
needed such as poster and invitation. The concept I
made for this event is an “inception”, a design inside
a design. The poster for this event is a hanging poster
with brick wall as the background. To differentiate areas
for the event, I made vectors of the iconic buildings
of each city. For the content, I was playing and
experimenting with the typography.

For the invitation, I also made series for four different
areas. The cover of the invitation is a double door
and when you open it, the inside of the invitation is
like a room with a hanging poster and lamp with the
informations of the event.

colors. The images used in these design are items
that represent each faculties. The typeface used is a
simple sans-serif typeface that is bold and has a great
readibility and legibility.

she is changed into a successful career woman.
