Wonderful Women of Excellence.cdr

Humanitarian activities should never be performed in order to achieve fame or to gain a status symbol. You can easily achieve fame by the work you do. Lifting
the heavy bag of an old woman is humanity, helping a disabled to cross the road is humanity; n fact helping anyone who is in need is humanity. Serving the poor
and the disabled is one of the greatest humanitarian help an individual can provide in his or her lifetime.

Rita Jain is my maiden name and now called as Aarti Mittal since last 30 years. I wonder and ponder why this change of name for me so effortlessly even without
my interest ! But still no regrets.
My parents have been most important people in my life. It is because of them, whatever, the way I am, am today. My dad, a lawyer at high court. For me, yes he
has struggled a lot but finally a lion a winner. But lol not in front of my mom lol. My mom a homemaker, beautiful with pleasing personality, very much loves
her own self, and believes only her own self. Just couldn't learn this from her. My dad loved me may be loves me now too a lot, but, is helpless before his religious
ego. My mom, a very strict disciplined lady. Strict for her children, very motivating and inspiring for the entire society, except children. May be her being very
Aarti Mittal
harsh and strict made me so tough, that all except me were at its advantage and benefits. Both were brought up in a society and influenced by the culture of
discriminations. Discriminations between sex, between religion, between class. But still my dad is I guess much more tender than my mom. My mom got
married at a very tender age of 14, and I guess some bitter experiences at her early age must have made her harsh, she had uncontrollable rage. My poor brothers
and me. In spite of so much of darkness one thing I admire and appreciate in her is that she has been a warrior, a fighter. She was stubborn and her stubbornness I
guess led her to her achievements, which to some extent got bestowed in me naturally, though I was suppressed and oppressed tremendously affecting my
individuality. Still, even today they both practice religion staunchly.

My purpose of sharing all this, is coz that has made difference to my personality on the whole. My mom basically, in my case, thought of only as advantages to her
as daughter and as a sister to my 4 brothers. My brothers were very loving and caring till they were brothers, but as in when they became husbands, their sister
had hardly any role to play in their lives : hence it hardly matters to them even though we are not on talking terms but yes somewhere it does matter and has
affected me. As I was told to meet their expectations but they were not taught of mine. In fact I was told never to expect from them. For that matter even at the
time of my wedding, lol I was no responsibility of my brothers, but only my dad, and for my mom, a burden, hence my marriage was as good as committing
suicide to me ; I was so very frustrated with the mental and some physical torture at home. Actually I wished to study further, to make a career, but my mom
wanted to get free of me as her responsibility. Hence got me married.

Nevertheless God was quite kind enough to bless me with a loving husband. My husband ; a very soft hearted, immensely talented music composer and a very
good music teacher too, more than that a very good human being but unfortunately yet walking on the thorny paths to meet the destination of success. His
abilities and capabilities yet need a break to prove themselves. Irony of my life, he was brought up in the worst conditions than me ( psychologically), that
affected his education and entire thought process, making him a conservative person leading to complexities, displayed and resulting to readable stammering.
But very loving and soft hearted as I said. He too had been too suppressed to the extent of deprivation of his education. But I can say that I am blessed to have
him. He wishes to support me heartily but at times his ego or in other words complexities become a barrier. For me it is very important to mention all these
things as these things have shaped my present persona. I have become a theist believing in humanity, compassion and love and see only good and positive aspects
of people or say learn to just appreciate and admire. May be this is the reason though on being deserted by my dad can't go away from him. Well this too I have
learned from my dad. Aah ! Here it is important to tell you that am not in talking terms with my parents because my daughter married a Muslim guy she loved
and I supported her I mean we supported her, though it was a bit flimsy scenario.

Women are known to have better intuition, patience, emotional focus, compassion and networking ability. The list of female strengths is endless. Throughout
history, the world has witnessed many great women of strength who managed to tap into their Everyday Power to leave an indelible mark on society- The best
protection any woman can have is just their willpower and courage.
Experience and activities: I have worked as an Assistant Chemist in Anchor Pharmaceuticals, Daman from June 1993 to January 1996. I am working as an
Assistant Chemist in Vikas Organics (P) Limited, Daman from 1/2/1996 to 31/1/1998. Taking active participation in Yog sports as well as Yoga as mean to
Health – wellness & peace under the guidance of AIYSA in Daman since 2015. Presently working as 'Casual Announcer and Programmer' at All India Radio
(Aakashwani), Daman since April, 2015.

My thoughts and Ideas:

I would like to express myself with a slok, it has such deep meaning to it and this is what I feel and all I would like to share - ितः शान्ितः शान्ितः ॥

Om, May All be Happy,
May All be Free from Illness.

May All See what is Auspicious,
May no one Suffer.

Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

Other than that, I am a very feminist person because I have learned that being a women is not at all easy, it requires strength, courage and a strong will power.
Women have been deprived of basic human rights not for years, decades or centuries, but for thousands of years. It's not only about voting, being involved in
politics, owning businesses, but the trivial matters like having their say in the family, marrying the person they want or maybe not marrying at all. All of these
ordinary things we barely pay attention to now were once just a dream to millions of women. I myself belong to a very conservative family but still I always had
my parents back, they have been supportive throughout my life. I got married to someone from a different cast, it was not allowed but I fought for what I wanted.
What made the humanity change its mind? Well, obviously people didn't just decide to wake up one day and give certain extent of freedom to women in the
world. It happened thanks to brave and courageous women's struggle, who refused to be someone society wanted them to be and also to the parents who believed
in their daughters, listened to them and not the society. Sharing stories of each other's experiences gave women the power to speak up and make a change, I
entirely support the same. I believe not only women but every individual has a special quality and a hidden talent within them, I wish to give voice to each of
those to make dreams come true. I have suffered a lot and learned a lot from my life experiences, I pray my children do not have to go through the same. I
support my daughter in each and every decision she makes and at every stage in life. I believe she is going to follow and achieve her dreams and definitely make
me proud, she helps me to be me, and she is my strength. She is a warrior! When a brave woman spoke of her misery, agony, struggle, challenges and victories,
Bijal Nair Pandya others realized they're not alone. When women support each other, incredible things happen. The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another.
We should raise each other up. Make sure you are very courageous: be strong, be kind and above all be humble. I want every girl to know that her voice can
change the world. Problems?? Everybody has problems, but remember it'll just come and go. Nothing is permanent, eventually everything changes for good.

Television media has profound impact on our society. It has changed the life styles of the people and has become a major influence in our culture.
Television has occupied an important position in homes and therefore, it is bound to make an impact on the individuals and the society. Television, as a
technology has changed the complexion and manner of conveying ideas to people and therefore, there is a need to examine the individual's relationship
with the television. Having earned a niche for itself in ways that are unique and unprecedented, TV has worked its way as an indispensable member of
hundreds of millions of families across the world. – Says Flora Sarker, an Economics teacher and media artist from Bangladesh.

a celebrity(though I don't feel myself as a celebrity). At the same time, I was involved in radio plays as well. Acting is my passion and I always like to introduce
myself as an actress. But as I grew mature, I felt I have to read more in order to increase my knowledge. Beside my academic study, I started to read literature,
philosophy, history, politics and so on. While reading literature I became interested in poetry, novels, stories etc. I believe, poetry is a medium where one can
express his or her feelings and sense through few words with deep meaning. So, I started to enjoy writing poems, the way I enjoy acting. Besides writing poems
for the last ten or twelve years now, I write critics on movies for various magazines and newspapers here.
Achievements
I think achievement is a word that does not have an end. In my acting career, I have received several awards from different institutions in Bangladesh. However,
I believe in achieving rewards more than awards. I feel lucky and glad that I have won plenty of love and respect from my viewers and followers for my writings
along with my acting skills. A huge group of readers read my film critics on a regular basis and always appreciate my works. I have achieved love and respect from
my students as well. I always try to be a good teacher and stay professional when I am in my classroom.
Inspirational works

There was a golden time in our television industry and I feel proud to be a part of it. Some of the very popular dramas where I acted were-Samarpan, Grihobashi,
Hajar Bachar Dhore, Nandito Narake, Begum Rokeya, Nawab Sirajdawla, Bandini, ChokherJoley, Surjakannya etc. All of them were some of my remarkable
works and viewers still remember me for them. To me, as a Professor, students' respect is a great inspiration and I believe I have earned it successfully. When I
get positive feedback for my writings from my readers, it inspires me to write more. Some of my written reviews on some popular movies like- Uncle Boonme
who can recall his past, Capitalism: The love story, Argo, Hotel Ruwanda, Secret Ballot, A Separation, Lion of the desert, The reluctant fundamentalist, Firaaq
etc were hugely appreciated and liked by my readers.

– Says Flora Sarker, an Economics teacher and media artist from Bangladesh.

my childhood I was involved with media through acting in television and radio dramas and movies.
Defining In Self.

When I was six or seven years old, I started my career as an actress in television, which was known as Pakistan Television at that time and after our independence
in 16 December, 1971, it was named Bangladesh Television. It was the only television channel at that time. I acted as a child actress in most of the plays. Later, I
entered in cinemas and acted in several movies here in Bangladesh. Some of my plays and movies still telecast in YouTube. My acting career made me popular as
a celebrity(though I don't feel myself as a celebrity). At the same time, I was involved in radio plays as well. Acting is my passion and I always like to introduce
myself as an actress. But as I grew mature, I felt I have to read more in order to increase my knowledge. Beside my academic study, I started to read literature,

According to Mirela Necula, Nobody is perfect and if can understand this fact then we wouldn't hurt either others or ourselves by expecting a lot of perfection
from others. Perfection is not an act like excellence is a habit, but we find perfect people not very often. So, we have to learn to deal with people who are not very

Economic Director, I raised the whole economic department.
A job with heavy responsibilities, this function made me be a jurist, a lawyer, an accountant and Economist and boss.

Through my work, with my knowledge I grew the turnover 1000 times in 11 years.

As every person on this Universe, I believe my biggest failure was my marriage.

Young married, with great difficulties and a mountain of unhappiness, after 10 years I finally got divorced.

This separation lasted 15 years through courts, with a lot of efforts and waste of resources, financial and emotional.

In this period of time I realised how much hate a person can have, what level of vengeance can reach.

I been kneeled for so many years but I looked ahead, with faith not to ever end up in that mud again, my marriage being the biggest misery.
But life rewarded me with poetry, filled my heart, enormously loving it.

I believe is my biggest achievement, as my soul moans of happines every time I read or write a poem.

My poems reveal a lot of love, they actually speak only about love and fullfilment.

In this moment of truth, with the purest word, I state that I lived this love and that my poems reveals it exactly as I lived it.

“My love went around the earth” as I said in few of my poems, is the most correct description.

Destiny brought to me the oposite kind of man that I had, O' miracle with human face wich I cherished, respected and loved as I loved myself.

In this period heaven came in my world, I saw the holly light, divine, am became the human with sun in eyes, with shine, incapable of harming, with the most
immense love on earth.

Inspirational poetry is best defined as that special style of verse that positively stimulates the reader's or listener's mind, affecting them with a particular emotion,
and creating within them a feeling of confidence, encouragement and exaltation. Inspirational poetry will be both life-affirming and life-enhancing.
Personal profile

I always wanted to travel through the word to learn about life and to know my self. I never knew exactly what I was. I was a quiet and silentchild with big opened
eyes catching the world and theinner side of people and things. I was naturally gifted for literature and languages. Later, I was interested in medicine. I was
attracted by the challenges of life and in alleviating people in distress and pain. And I also loved History, especially Ancient History, and the mythic founding
narratives on the origin of the word. I love allthat is prim or dial, fresh, new.

Persona

Poetry is my life essence. I´m a poetic animal. Poetry is my natural way of being. Greed, injustice, social inequalities and poverty cause great suffering to me.
Also mediocrity. I have an absolute need for harmony. The flight in to wider skies has been an attempt to escape evil through the reigns of goodness and beauty.

Achievements

I have worked in different áreas: Medicine, Literature, Archaeology and History of Medicine. My first great achievement was to succeed in finishing my degree in
Medicine after being already a Germanist. As a medical doctor, a family doctor, I felt fulfilled doing something useful, especially with the implementation of
home patient assistance and palliative care. As a medical historian, I was lucky to see my second article “Women doctors in Classical Antiquity- a rediscovered
face” awarded with the History of Medicine Barros Veloso Prize by the Portuguese Society of Internal Medicine. Other relevant achievements followed in my
research fields: ancient gynaecology and obstetrics, Roman surgical instruments from the Portuguese territory, and the study of the medicinal use of gems,
minerals and bezoar stones. Another important achievement in this área was the organization of the 46th International Society for the History of Medicine
Congress, Lisbon2-6 September 2018, as Vice-President. As a translator, I would select the Portuguese translation of the first version of Mozart' “Magic Flute”,
and also my translations of Friedrich Schiller´s poems and ballads. I also feel proud of my translations of relevant contemporary poets into Portuguese for the
first time.

As a poet, I feel very fortunate to write directly in languages besides Portuguese: Spanish, English, French andGerman. I usually give my poems to a native
speaker for revision. Among my participation in international poetry festivals and anthologies, I would like to emphasise my participation in the superb
International Multilingual Poetry Anthology titled Amaravati Poetic Prism 2018. I was awarded several national and international prizes, the most outstanding
being the International Prize Pray of Mother Teresa, Literary Club “Gjon Nikkollë Kazazi, Gjakovë, Kosovo 2019. I felt really honoured and touched, even
