She Needs To Fly... Unbiased
It was her memory refresher
She believed in her excellence.
Her needs make herself to flow
As poetry as easily down the page.
Courage is her spirit
Where she needs to fly unbiased.
Seem to be a bird
Without any cage.
Moving into the earth circle
She would like to dance... unfettered
Seem to be a dove or peacock
Within feathers and wings,
thinking of childhood doll.
Her style of communication
Makes her unique
Herself she feel as a fish to swim,
Generated you to show the truth
It's a desire to inspire people brilliantly, that's her soul.
A Desire To Measure That Moments
With all rapture let me see
A magnificent rainbow.
Mysterious chemistry
brought up by nature...
In a dark night’s glow.
I had been touched that peace
To achieve between weather and nature.
Experienced in temperate zone
The song of harmony with love desire.
The full moon or in a new moon bow
My pen tried to measure that height,
In a blank paper by ink and feather.
And by blood of my heart’s desire.
May be I embrace you, in that moment of pleasant peace.
A blissful sunshine propels me
With all rapture
Let me see,
Where a pen needs to measure the cosmos’s infinity. @Irannii Saikia

With What Name Should I Call You?
With what name should I call you?
Should I call you Heaven or call you hell?
Should I call you pain or call you peace?
Should I call you destruction or call you danseuse?
Man who has been ambitious and arrogant,
Sins have been multiplied and measureless,
Truth has been mutilated and meaningless,
Proud of his falsified strength
Feelings of superiority supersede
Arguments of every level intensified and attacking
Jealous and hatred find comfortable stay in every heart,
Love and intimacy are at receiving end.
Mother Earth is suffering from excruciating pains
The Moon is shivering and dwindling in his shallow cavern
The Sun is burning, spewing heat on to the Earth
O, invisible merciless, with what name should I call you?
What Is Nature's Plan?
What's your plan, Nature?
Forests are in flames, Rivers in spate,
Deserts are scorching, Winds spew only ashes,
Life is in doldrums, Now, what curse have you brought,
Onto the whole humanity? Everyone is scared,
Roads are empty, Streets are barren,
Factories are closed, Trains look tiresome,
Planes look pacified, with folded wings and closed platforms,
Death is playing havoc, disease is dancing at every doorstep,
What goes wrong? Tell me what's your plan?
Man is avoiding man, with palsied dreams and divided aims
Meetings have turned into partings,
Hugging and hand shaking have changed into dreary distancing,
Celebrations have turned into empty desires,
Everything gets scattered and scanty,
Alas, no one to sprite around,
Innumerable die fighting the losing battle
With the deadly virus having such a graceful name.
Tell me, Nature, what's your plan?

Sudha Dixit
Sudha Dixit, was born and brought up in UP. Presently settled in
Bangalore.. She is doing what she always wanted to do - painting
landscapes and portraits & writing poetry / articles on net and various
magazines, including print media. She has one book of ghazals printed in
Devnagari script and another book – a collection of her English poems.
Her English poems have been published in around 55 anthologies. She has
been included in four coffee table books published by Pictorial Society Of
India. Her Hindi poems and articles are widely published and won
acclaim.
She look at nature with myopic eyes & paint it wearing tinted glasses, with
poetry in her heart. Poetry just happens. It acts as catharsis in her life,
removing the toxin from her heart in the form of words on paper. It’s
therapeutic. This high spiritedness reveals itself in both, her poems &
paintings.
The Blessed One
Life started
Past my prime
Must make up
For lost time
Found my rainbow,
My colours
In painting
Unearthed melodies
Love songs haunting
From the closet
Of my heart,
Something as
A state of art
The poetry flowed
Freed from inhibitions
Words glowed
Am I a late bloomer?
No! I am an
Eternal child
A perennial dreamer
I am a blessed soul divine
I am ageless like wine

I Feel Proud!
So many religious sects,
Various beliefs and faiths,
Leading towards God almighty,
Are nothing but road maps
Different regions, different races,
Born with different skin shades
Yet, we all are human beings
Color of each one’s blood is red
Diversity is spice of life like
Many flower-buds in a garland
Passing through a single thread
Like human chain made by holding hands
Varied shapes, sizes and colors
Give the garden alluring dignity
Synchronized theme provides
To such diversity a unity
I am proud of my country
That has multifarious culture
Still peace prevails here
Due to our tolerant nature

her art depicts the power of a Woman and also shows love, freedom and

As it is dangerous to go alone,
(arms and ammunitions seen piled)
activities gone awry,
Please come with me, Dear!
Scenes are blurred, sounds heard worse
Sympathy showered polluted
Don't be isolated,

Hateful speech,
deceitful deeds,
Dilapidated ideas strangle
Don't be solitary,
Please come with me
Dear!
Since
Acts we bore in mind, with purity
Love unstained and impartial, don't give up hope,
let's move together to witness a new dawn

Flying Butterflies
She drifted into inner sphere of bliss
Mysterious saga of lifetimes to impress
Colorfully left encountered atoms behind,
Blended into tantalizing fanciful ground
Myriad stars, aromatic myrrh,
Awaken senses into flying birds
She delights in her memories,
Ornately crafting her into being she
Either lost, found; or tears and glee
Embellished soul of graceful, free
Metamorphosis she endured, burned to try,
dissolved into a butterfly to fly
Free is she in her sanctuary of inner,
Her heart sings love, her soul lavishes beauty abound..!
Mystic Path
Body of celestial beings, given magic
Questioning now what is mine to be
Knowing is not to go along in dramas
It’s to be free to deny conditioned lives
Observing, falling in shadow walks
Mystic omen of truth in ordinary rites
Healing is inevitable, spirited deep; aware
Silent journey must be, feel, fear faced
She speaks, leads in her walk in authenticity
Connected to her dreams, feelings; in thrilling
Driven not by ego, but sacred rituals her rhyme
Knowing when in silence and when time to howl
Light and dark collide, trusting signs
She transcends mediocrity to fertile grounds..!

Ommker Dutta Jay
I am currently a student of Architecture in Chittagong
University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), in
Bangladesh.
The field of poetry and non-fictional writing has always made
me curious from my childhood. My mother, who is as I said as
my teacher and inspiration, introduced me to “books.”
Books of Satyajit Roy, H.G. Wells, Doyle, Shelly, Keats, Dante
and what not. I have Practiced them since childhood. And so,
my history of writing poems began when I was just 10 years old.
Besides I have also directed some of my own film visuals from my
own sense of interest about surrealism and expressionism. And
in addition, written and composed some songs too. Moreover, I
have a family lineage of journalists, poets, photographers, related
to art and literature.
Having a heredity of being involved in art and poem I am also
very keen to start as a professional writer and poet.
The sonnet is usually written for praising a character or a thing.
That can be a Woman, a man, a river or a revolution.
The character is said to be praised, but there are also some
condemnation or questions being given to him/her. (Volta)
The VOLTA section presents a totally opposite attitude of the
character that has been praised all along the previous two stanzas.
My sonnet is written to my highly intelligent "mother". The mother
who is my "teacher", the inspiration for all my work and creation.
The only thing that matters is that the
Poem has to play with the expression of the way
It is expressed, so the limits or rhythms of the word
Are to be taken care of in this way which is an engineering.
The sonnet was created when the
Art and engineering became united.
Sadly, the classical Gharana poems like Sonnet,
Od, Elise, Ballad are missing now.
Lost in the triumph of modern poetry.
I only did a little effort to revive them.

The Lady Forgotten
- A Shakespearian Sonnet
Beneath the surface rests her soul alive,
She's waiting for the perfect time to rise,
She knows so well herself to fight and thrive,
So, bolt but yet; too calm, so true her eyes.
(Quatrain 1)
She flies above the tender little moon,
With lovely dreams of watching Saturn rings,
Where stars are falling in the month of June,
With lots of daze; from boundless maze that brings.
(Quatrain 2)
But why o ma' of mine you hid yourself??
And why did not you walk the way you want??
The way you see things what others can't help,
So, why you chose to keep your soul dormant??
(Quatrain 3/Volta)
Some minds like you, so rare, but used so few,
And yet I feel a pride to come from you

Monsoon
My well is dry, my fields are parched,
A land bleached white, intensely sun scorched,
Not a single cloud, seen in the sky,
Not as far, as doth a black crow fly,
Against a glaring sun, my eyes, I shield,
What do I say, about crops or yield?
A barren land, in wait for a till,
How thus to carry on, when until?
Year on year, your arrival remains a suspense,
How do I meet, school fees or a marriage expense?
My family fed up, of my moans,
But what do they know, of my loans?
Desperate, I pray, my prayers surround you,
Ardent wishes, for cloud cover, showers, even dew,
You cool my heart, you cool my fields,
Your arrival means, fertile land yields,
Swelling wells, overflowing lakes,
Lush green all around, in your wake,
Please do hear, this poor farmer's song,
I yearn for you so, pray do not be long!

Father
Around the corner, nearby a street-end,
I came across once, one of my father's friends,
Bent and grey, now withered with age,
Looking no less, like an wise old sage,
His eyes grew moist, on seeing me,
I stood still, as gnarled hands embraced me,
His voice came slow, and strangely quiet,
'For a moment there, I was taken aback quite, '
'You so look now, like your father, my son,
But yet like him, there never was one,
He was of, but a different mettle,
Twenty-four carat, pure gold metal,
Rich in spirit, a vibrant soul,
A real man, all and whole,
Honesty his calling, sincerity his nature,
At every juncture, he just grew in stature,
His work remained worship,
Under duress, under every hardship,
A family man, a devoted son,
A loving father, if there ever was one,
A dutiful brother, a brother-like friend,
To us, he was truly Godsend,
He was our ideal, of how a man should be,
A true inspiration, we all still agree,
If you need know, the true measure of that man,
Try and emulate, if you can,
Simple, sober, he was truly great,
My dear friend, and your father late.'

Basudev Mallik, who hails from the Temple City of
Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has spent his entire career as a
journalist, mostly in the department of editing. He took
interest in writing poetry since his school days in both
languages — Odia as well as English. Mallik stands strongly
against the misconception of poetry being beyond the ambit
of editing, as pleaded by many today, their plea being —
Poetry is “spontaneous overflow of emotions”. Good poetry,
edited or unedited, stands out in form and quality. Mallik
has scripted over a thousand poems, carving time out of his
busy schedule, many of which have been published in
various magazines, periodicals, national and international

Thralled
You suddenly flew
into my sky
That so far remained
free from clouds
Blue and brilliant,
never sly
Brightly sparkling
beyond all shrouds.
Stirring ripples
with your charm
Thralled my soul
and flew away
To your nest
across seven seas
Beside the shores
of Belo Horizonte.
The Golden Diktat
Life's golden diktat to all:
Qualify and receive;
never hope fruits to drop from heaven;
Try, stand tall;
Life's a garden : it blossoms & its balm
floods your heart and soul
if raised with love and are...
for each plant, each leaf and stem,
each bud and each flower.
It's the divine Ganga….
eternally fluting along its flow
sustaining the soul with its balmy glow.
Never ever befoul the source
of blessings; it's a glittering goldmine
of perennial peace and built-in bliss.
If ever you err – you invoke its ire:
miseries follow, spinning you along
with your lush, sensuous shire
flowers flag... stop blooming,
each leaf and bud
starts withering mercilessly
whiffs of aroma cease with a thud.
The smoothly sailing boat
turns upside down... and you fall,
from the lovely Edenic heights
into the abyss' eerie lull.

Each Little Gesture
If knowledge
like water
knows where
and how to flow
without overwhelming.
If the echo
of words
is powerful
and not
aggressive.
If each
little gesture
of attention
goes straight
to the heart.
Then it is love.
Falling In Love
There are no limits
no obstacles
no uncertainties,
every impulse is alive.
The surreal
wears a dream,
the dream is unveiled
revealing a sweet reality.
In the intriguing imagination
of the couple,
the union of beings
becomes sublime poetry.

In Thoughts
You have lost someone forever, gone never to return
Mindlessly you await for a message arrive, the phone to ring
Shadows of a memory, sitting below a lamp post
A moon to mock you, making your loss heavy
Too late, a human touch eerie an impossible
The distance of night the longest, I turn to sleep
I can hear the dogs bark, the tick tock of the clock.
The end arrived unannounced, a hard journey began
Right now you are in someplace I don't know
I retrace my steps backwards, just as yesterday
I can smell the summer lemony fragrance, the forest walk
Today's grim reality, irreversible life situation's worst turn
In seconds taken, a last meeting cruelly snatched!
Faith of Love
No apologies for the eternal love of my life
As, no apologies by ocean for its deep depths
As, no apologies for the pinnacle of highest peaks
Space I seek in your heart, rightfully mine
No apologies I seek, forgiven you will stand
When it's downcast, lookout for rain
In dead of night, lookout for stars
Chance is you will find neither
Breathe calmly, imagine either
You outshined, leaves me most radiant
Pain, grief replaced by reliving golden days
Truth is all sorrows end, paving a new dawn to arrive
I will love you deeply, to run my hand
Over your heart, wanting to caress it gently
One day when we meet again
Voids, be filled, living in peace with a hope
One day, I will whisper back love again!

She Rise Up
Each day a new experiment
Each dawn a novel exploration
Every minute a fresh innovation
Of discovering self of assuming the potentials
Re arranging with the connotative ritual of the assurance, perseverance
Hesitance for the acceptance of the present scenario
And with a little reluctance
Shaping to the mold with the ratio
Following the norms
Grooming the mind to tune with the situation
But the blaze in her, flab at times
The tint in her, flip her mind to rise up from her phoenix
With the dream to grab the stars in her palms
With the aspiration to set herself free, but no alms
She has to be strong
Powerful enough to scream
Draconian against those who made her their victim
For this
She has to rise up in contradiction of the structure
She has to rise up to get prominence in the brochure
She has to rise up.
Just For You
Just for you
If someone will ask me
For whom I write I will say just guess from your side
If the alphabets will ask me
For whom they dance
I will say just because of romance
If the flowers will ask me
For whom I made the buds in me to bloom
I will say I found a fragrance from gloom
If the birds will ask me
Why I sing louder than cuckoo
I will say I found the lyrics and sweetness
Which rhythmically flow and symmetrically glow in me
If the clouds will ask about my dance
I will say because of the untimely rain
If the blank canvas will ask me to fill the colors
I will say I had packed the sketch with the hue
Hence all the tint are meant just for you.

Those Eyes
Once I was totally drowned into them.
I was so moved by them at that into.
I couldn't see that he was not mine.
Oh! That lovely time was a complete mayhem.
Once I used to be in complete mess.
My days and nights were haunted by those eyes.
I found those ties to be great delights.
But, the time had gone fast leaving me speechless.
Once those eyes used to make me shy.
My hearts used to skip beats.
My eyes couldn't miss that treats.
Now, the time only makes me cry.
You
I don't know how I can win you.
I don't know how I can please you.
All I know from the bottom of my heart.
I don't want to say the final depart.
I don't know how to make you feel special.
All I want to keep my hand in your hand.
All I want to see you to take my stand.
I don't know how I will endure your denial.
I don't know how I can make you believe.
Your trust, your care gives me such relief.
I don't know how I will face the day!
If I ever need to say go away.
It was never too tough to stop the tear.
It was known as same thing took place before.
Now, just like them, I need to do it once more!
As things are different than they appear.
Heartbreak overpowers when there is none to care.
But, trust break is something which is beyond repair.
But, I kept head high in scorching heat.
Never let it melt the base under my feet.
Whenever heavy rain tried to wash off my courage,
Bright and sunny autumn days were just like mirage.
Frost bite made the journey nearly unbearable!
Even the breeze of late autumn was unviable.
Actually, all these things makes life a sweet survival.
Only if the survivor wants to be unputdownable.

The Anthem of Soul
Actually, Life is very short
But we can make it so sweet.
We bring and take nothing with us
So why fight among ourselves?
Hearts of everyone are of the same shape.
Colour of blood is also the same
Wind and rain are there for one and all
Nature doesn't deny right of use to anyone.
Why do we bother for a land piece?
Let us work for world peace.
Try to break the barriers of caste and creed
We all are one of the same national breed.
Let us sow the seed of love everywhere
Let love be our soul's anthem now... and here.
Nature's Message
Fishes splashing in a silvery fall
White clouds adrift in procession
on mountain ridges, attract all.
Clusters of flowers welcome dawn
Dew drops glitter on the sprawling lawn.
Darkness flees the sleepy hilltops
Golden ball on horizon
augur the day well
The world wakes up again,
to start anew its journey
Nature gives it company
but with its warning bell
To be cautious and not silly.
Let's walk steady with care
Not ignore what we think as small
For each small has its own beauty
Let's love each and all, each and all.

Wielding his spiritual leanings and practices, he's now a

naturally since childhood and he firmly believes that words in

Peace
To know that the outer chaos isn't our reality
We must dive in to get in touch with our tranquility,
There are many wonderful things about peace
But the best one is that it's our innate original quality.
We aren't what we acquire
We aren't what we desire,
We're a formless flow of divine energy
Wearing this body like attire.
If death is ever certain
Then how well we should live,
In return to the creation
What is that which we can give.
We can radiate positivity and make the universe more joyous
By spending few moments in meditation beyond the outer noise,
Remember! Even In the midst of turbulence
Sticking to Inner Peace is always a choice.
May the peace be with you always!

Damn That Love
Damn that love!
Which makes you feel less worthy,
Damn that love!
Which lacks deep emotions and is just wordy.
Damn that love!
Which enables someone to let you shove,
Damn that love!
Which makes you loose belief in love.
Damn that love!
Which holds your growth and stops you to rise,
Damn that love!
Which starts with adjustments and ends on compromise.
Damn that love!
Which has endless issues to resolve,
Damn that love!
Which doesn't allow you to evolve.
Choose love which doesn't give wounds
But the kind which heals like love,
Choose love which really soothes
And the kind which feels like love.
May you always love the right love!

Elegy
In the bosom of solitary nature
Dews seem to be my silent tears-
And I'm broken heart
Like the strings of broken lyres
In every night and every morn
Melancholy is my companion,
Thus, my days run to years
With my bootless cries
My all colourful hopes
Lost the path in gloomy future
Now I decorate my own graveyard
And count my last days in the tips of fingers
My corpse will lie in the ground
I hope, thou'lt come-
Then, bid me adieu with cherry garland
Thy deep sigh will come !

Freedom is Our Birthright
Freedom is our birthright
You can not snatch away our pride
You can chain our feet to restrict the movement
But how can you chain our will power !?
You can chain our hands
How can you chain our minds!
You can stitch our lips
Can you chain our thoughts!
You can bind our eyes
Can you, can you bind our soul !!
Freedom is our birthright
You can not snatch our pride

True Love
A day more cold than coldest of hearts
A feel more warm than warmest of hugs
A heart more strayed than darkest of strayed hopes
A sin, more beautiful than a heartfelt prayer
Yes, love is in the air ...
He, a fine stream of watery exuberance
Shaping the pebbles of her shackles
For once ...
Making her go after her hearts desires and rattles
Nothing to contain, containers lay bare
But her cup was full with ambroisal nectar
Love and freedom ...
Pouring out of spouts of words and actions
Her being soulfully merging with his soul
Drowning in the seas of his eyes
She had found herself there
Birthing of true love ...
Silently, so clear ...
Wanderings
Wanderings ever pondered in her pensive ponderings
Thoughts ever richocheting on her composite composites
Yes...
Expectations always sorrowful in their botherings
Beautiful hearts ever squandered by deceitful squanderings
Desires often escalated by uncontrolled controllings
Silences more hurtful in their indecencies
In relations, no absolute relativity
They came with complex quadratic intimacy
Yes...
Love did expire in its jittery inconveniences
And ...
Her words often bled on blank papers as her skillful rhetoric
In her wilderness, her pen her testimony

Sixth Sense
Fine is the redwine drops from your lips,
To dance and to sing, I hold your hips;
Sugary bread we eat is from your oven,
An angel appeared now is from heaven.
Knowing nothing new on loving trends,
Forget the loved games and close friends,
I love thee in a grief; sorrowful despair
Wings lost, flying in air without my pair
What to do if a red sunset often freeze;
Love comes and goes through the breeze;
Where there is silence and strange peace;
I hear the tune of a sixth sensation at ease!
Bliss
The rain clouds are on her forehead,
From sky to the waterless ground,
A thousand drops pelt downward,
Earth became like a tired drunkard,
I just love my Mother Earth!
Mist melted in favor of sun beams,
Blue clouds shrink away with shame
Woman Earth, blown up with the bow;
Sky, the Sea and the Shore all in a row.
I just like my Blue Ocean!
Maids of nature stood in dusty green
Birds of love flew again in mind pain
For this is love and nothing else is love;
To which we all entrust someone above.
I just love my God Above!

Fire on Ice
Beloved!
Walking in deep darkness
We, both...
Not holding the hands of each other Sigh!
Memories wrong turn reminds you
There lonely heart cries
Days are short, nights long
Fake hope, anxious mind
Remember my long lost friend
Hold on pains
We are together but apart
No more apologise, no excuses
No need to prove me again and again
Days come night gone
Lonely heart remains alone
Waiting when the journey ends
Have to go back again...
Lost Dream
Together never
Walk on the flow
Simply parallels
Where dream is destiny
Hold you tight
Not beside
Magical melody
You turn me on
Every moment.
I arouse
My heart felt
Sodden lips want to melt
I get unknown pleasure
While talking
The conversation is not extreme
But every inch a feel
Your breath
You laughter
Lost in you
Its a dream
Never comes true

Virtuous Abode
In mythology the Greek
underworld where souls go after
death , the original Greek idea
of after life very much like
Indian concept - however it was
considered very important to
the Greeks to honour the dead
...Elysium also called Elisian
fields or Elisian plain ..
Lively and cheerful
The deep frolicsome
Sea with furious waves
Hold me tight with your
Oars
As you row
But remain firm with my being
Take me to Atlantic Ocean
Off the west coast
"The Greek Paradise"
After death
"The abode of virtuous" !!
