Our Silver Jubilee Binder

In the very opening annals of our message, we convey our thanks
to all dear poets, readers, models and artists who have been
participating in our projects on different themes but one concept
of pictorial poetry/prose/fiction. They have made our works
beautiful and enjoyed the grace of their pictorial poetry
compositions. This concept of pictorial poetry has totally
changed the shape and definition of poetry. Earlier the poetry
books were kept in racks of Libraries but pictorial poetry
anthologies have come out to be on the coffee tables. Now they
have reached to hotels rooms, restaurants, public libraries,
meeting places and so many other venues. This concept has
widened its scope with which we can organize pictorial poetry
exhibition. Last year we happened to launch a pictorial poetry
exhibition first in the world at Kathmandu, Nepal from 20th
to 27th April 2019.It was highly successful and achieved "Golden
Book of World Records".
We feel proud in bringing out our 25th coffee table anthology
GEMS which is in your hands now as our Silver Jubilee Edition in
a mega size and thick paper. It is being launched by our
international group, World Pictorial Poetry & Art Forum© and
its 33 branches in the world. We have put our sincere efforts to
make a smart compilation of art and poetry where in 80 poems
from 40 fellow poets along with their pictures and biodata and 80
HD Pictures matching the poems are involved. These pictures
have been downloaded from Pixabay.com, pexel.com and are of
our eve models. We are thankful to picture download sites and
our models with which we could make a beautiful pictorial poetry
binder. Once again, we repeat our words on a universal truth that
reads, "Pictures, Sometimes though being silent speak much
more than words, lines and poems do". In our opinion this
combination of pictorial poetry works as if they were soul and a
body. While going through the history of pictoria poesy or
pictorial poetry it has been found that the "poet is an artist first."
Also it has been described that ''Ut pictura poesis" is a Latin
phrase, literally meaning "as is painting so is poetry". Some
centuries ago, Simonides of Keos (c. 556- 468 BC) had stated,
''Poem a pictura loquens & pictura poema silens," which
translates into English as "Poetry is a speaking picture &painting
is a silent poetry." It will not a wrong statement if we say, ''Poet is
an artist of words, of feelings and of thoughts who paints in one's
heart; Without making it cry, without letting it bleed. Here we are
of the opinion that Poem is a feel framed in thoughtful words.
Please submit your review for our future improvements.

That Loving Tremor

That sweet look
that captivating smile
that loving tremor
that pleasant feeling
passing
from one to the other,
that silent communication;

that saying without saying
that asking without asking
those words without words
that understanding that heats up
and reassures hearts,
that impalpable fluid
it's not just friendship, it's love…

Dawn, The Joy Of Nature

It's dawn, leave your bed,
go down to the meadows
drenched in dew;
dive into the wood,
be the first to break
the finespun spiders' webs
whose silken threads
are iridescent with the fall
of dewdrops.

Smell the fresh, inebriating
scents of nature;
observe the variegated cloak
draped over the earth;
run across the fields,
and grasp
the sense of freedom;
experience the joy of nature
that pervades you

I Miss You

An insomniac night
when there is illuminating light
Roar of thunder
Clouds cover the sky
Heavy raining outside
I miss you!

An idle drowsy afternoon
Hanging on hammock
Lazy breeze outside
Tranquillity lie
I miss you!

A dusky evening
When love to play four strings
When two little black birds
Sitting on a wire
None is beside here
I need you though you are far
I miss you!

A cockcrow morning
When i look in my half close eyes
Dew drops shines
Suddenly feel you in my arms
Want to kiss you with my scented lips
I miss you!

Miss you dawn, day or dark
Miss you like no one does
Miss you in my all desires.

Youth

Bunch of flowers in my hand
Smile on the face
Laughter changes the day
Warmness feels intensely
Sunlight on the fences of new hut
Darkness in a while
Blue sky merges with ocean
Colourful vision
Spring waves
Autumn inspires
Snowy day makes me calm
Courage initiates adventure
Sips of black berry wine
Stylish attires, trendy shoes
Festive mood, all good
When love is red
My journey begins
That's my youth.

Twinged

This day, the morning sky,
dipped in hues that made me cry....
those clouds deep grey..
weren't timid but stray.
Roaring... they howled and tore...
till they ripped to the core
Dripping down the pain...
Someone smiled and called it 'rain'!!

It tore apart in pain...
For a smile that danced in rain;
A drop that twirled in whorls,
another seized, to shape a pearl!!
Neither saw, how they were blessed,
distressed cloud was never caressed..
Bearing fruits and flaunting beauty..
The earth too faltered duty..!!

The thunder came to rest,
Sun tried to shine it's best..
while it's time to sleep in peace,
cloud has shed off all its fleece.
As it poured.. the last it had,
a rainbow streaked ahead,
to pay condolence which was due..
as no flowers were seen in queue!!!

Memories
Brewing my thoughts I came across,
a long lost memory lane.
I turned around and faced the moss,
entangled reminiscences of pain.
Aches throbbed, as remembrance flopped,
Agonies of past torment again!
Pang of love had never cropped,
It was all sore in pouring rain.
Whiff of rain washed all dust,
and left all wounds uncovered,
Our eyes had met while parting ways....
all dreams and hearts were shattered.
To walk through... that lane of past,
and shadows of heartache they cast,
I'll have to leave my soul aghast!!
Doors of heart need to shut down fast.
To find lost rhythm of my heart,
I'll give my all, won't let it part..
Blunder of the times ago,
Will not fall this time, I vow!!!

Abundance

If I ever feel jaded and slow on some days
Praying to the Almighty always pays
A sense of wonder at his beautiful creation
A world full of wonder and beautiful features

The floating clouds teach me the art of freedom
To be pure and light hearted like a beacon
The sunset teaches the tale of certainty
For every morning the Sun rises to certainty

The flowers teach the art of beauty
Imparting fragrance to one and all on a call of duty
Giving joy even to the hands who crush it
Creating an aura of happiness bit by bit

The river teaches the joy of enthusiasm
To overcome challenges and deep chasms
With so much beauty of abundance in nature
Man is indeed a loved and blessed creature

Closed Doors

When the fury of life came hopping in
Making me wonder if I had committed a sin
When unexpected circumstances closed doors
You sent angels so that I could still score

Through unexpected gestures I saw your grace
Reminding me of God's presence amidst the maze
You happily resurrected my lost smile
Making me walk longer, many miles

Your angels were sent to enlighten the mind
Even as I wondered what a find
They took away the pain or two
And brought cascades of happiness too

Dear God when a door closes
You stand invisible but firmly posed
The beauty of your benevolence won my heart
Now faith stays parked and shall never depart

Democracy

Hey Democracy, Where are you?
Where have you been lately?
I've been searching for you
to get justice … to my poor farmers,
To my dear sisters, to the old men,
Who have been trampled by the arrogant rulers,
Have you been abducted by them?
We need your gifts of freedom at every step in life.
Young generations are misled, corrupted and wasted
at the hands of gadgets.
Hey, can you listen to me?
Come up…. Come forward…
Sky is darkened with vicious clouds.
Rain is deceased. Water's poisoned.
Crimson flags are furling everywhere.
Bloodshed is at doors… Save us,
Our Savior,…save the people of this great nation.
We, the origins of peace,
Descendents of Buddha, Vardhamana, Ashoka
are starving for it.
Give us… Peace… Peace…Peace…

I Just Can't Let…

I just can't let you bow
To the destiny
To interfere our union…
And keep you on the horizon,
Once again…
I just can't let the music
Playing in the background
To break the rhythm
Of our symphony
To be started again…
It's Time unknown,
I've been waiting for
Your hands to rest in mine…
I just can't let them
Separate from me
To wait again….

Come Back To Me

Come back to me
When you are tired and shattered
When you are left heart-broken
When you see no ray of hope in your life
Being fed up of the life enigmatic.

Come back to me
I would be there
To embrace you
As ever
To welcome you
As ever.

My feeling and your feelings

My feelings for you were deep
I was ready
To turn my life upside down
For you.

Your feelings for me were deeper
You held yourself back
Just not to let me do that.

If There Is Life

If there is life
On any other planet
If there is love
On any other galaxy.

Then certainly
We would meet sometime
Somewhere
In this grand design of God
Don't worry, my love
I don't think of this planet alone.

The Hungry Letter

Drops of pain
Stole the smile
In silent space.
I Stand at the gate
When I lose myself
In my abandoned trail.
Its darkness is a chant of oblivion.
A life stolen by experiences.
Why living
When Living with dreams is like dying with pain.
Farness and nearness became similar to me
By the fusion of pain splinters.
Where are you then, myself?
You wasted my ink and papers
Therefore, my alienation began.
Your will and mine led us
to the edge of the hungry letter.
About my despondency,
I write with the nectar of injustice
Pouring pain
A Toast to loss
In glasses of empty meaningless days.
Drunk, the tips of my feathers are.
From the spell of morning
And throaty night, I see it.
It climbed
strings of interpretation
And fell in shrine of desire for torture.
Whenever heads are up
By the whip,
Torment makes them prostrate again.

Flow of tears
Holes,
Eyelids of pain
Desire,
Packets of flame
A blaze,
Pangs of worry
A fall of dark dusk
Carrying blood clot.
The female...
A light of lust
Affliction
Stretching sleeplessness
Waves,
With sinking desires
Pearl,
Seducing water

A desire
Drunk recklessness.

In the starry night
To the land of far away

Gossamer covers
And become
Divine lovers

Echoes

Just as disembodied shadows chase me
Sometimes, whispers are hot on my heels
I run, I hide, away from the voices, go to
The most silent places the mountains, the hills
But to my chagrin, echoes of my footsteps,
My breathlessness, and my desperate sighs,
Follow me. they are more vociferous
In my lonely room, they are
Soft whispers in a desolate field,
The most clamorous echoes
Are in my heart, I hear them
When I close my eyes

Sudha Dixit

Sudha Dixit, was born and brought up in UP. Presently
settled in Bangalore.. She is doing what she always wanted to
do - painting landscapes and portraits & writing poetry /
articles on net and various magazines, including print
media.
She is not religious in conventional sense but spiritual to the
core. Cosmopolitan by style, global by attitude and
gregarious by nature. She loves all forms of fine arts – music,
dance, painting, craft, reading and writing. Believes in simple
living while enjoying partying with friends and living life to
the full with zest, knowing that one lives only once.
She looks at nature with myopic eyes & paint it wearing
tinted glasses, with poetry in her heart. Poetry just happens.
It acts as catharsis in her life, removing the toxin from her
heart in the form of words on paper. It's therapeutic.. This
high spiritedness reveals itself in both, her poems &
paintings.

I cant't be;

Musing Side By Thee

Her closed petals
Open
The door
Of love

Her silent thrones
Taught
To seek
pursuit
of solitude

Her broken stems
Motivated
To
Muse in forbidden
Of
Truth

Her astounding body
Held my breaths
To feel essence of aesthetic beauty

These were the things that bounded me
When I was musing side by thee, dear rose!

To Thine

Like a dry leaf
Of a mighty tree
Dancing with the melody of breeze
From snowy cliffs to deary lands
To revive new shoots
Burning own trademarks
In every tidal of season
Testing all testament of human
I summoned to thine all roots
of mine to be awaken!

Hand in Hand

While loitering
beside sea shore,
enjoyed the dancing
waves more and more

All of sudden
come across
a beautiful maiden
moving in anti direction

A tall, slim
long necked beauty
with long hair
looked like a fairy

She allured me
in blushing smile,
seemed as if were
dancing in my heart

Without fear
she walks beside,
later we move
together hand in hand

In the company of
enchanting waves
we relax on sea shore
in each other arms

when she pulled
me tight against bosom,
a current passed through
my body rapidly

Waves too seen
leaping each other
had never experienced
such heavenly abode

saw a stream of love
flowing within us
As we were enjoying
a real paradise

Empty

She was born in the wombs of oblivion
Where fecund darkness had illuminated her empyrean shores
and gears
Though extremely stretched, she recoiled back with an ardent
fervor
Being at the centre of wheel, yet she was still and motionless

Her silences shouted some unsaid words
Her silent screams were too exhausted n palpable
Her mind clear n thoughtless
Time craddled in stop machines, a lull
Her heartbeats had lowered down as well
Only reverberations
A mere tick tock as hell.

Empty....
Empty she had felt light after years
The lone moon had blessed her tears
And she fell in love with herself and her aloneness and her
fears

In the Background

In the background...
Trees whistled n bees buzzed to crankiness
Birds chirped and the blooms blossomed in their Godliness

But between them...
The silence spread like a willingness, crooning into
nothingness
Their eyes locked with unceremonious desires, longings unspelt
Like the golden hues of afternoon flowing into evenings
redness

Drenched, love had stuttered in their corridors, as thick as
numbness
And rains had played havoc with their emotional crotchetiness

Loving hearts just came close in their coziness
Yes, love had overtaken them into surrenderness

My Lover

As we were sharing our moments
In the evenings
Many things came up for discussion.
Of Seminar,
Symposium
Work Shop,
Study tour and so on.
When descriptions wandered around
Household matters also
Crept into but kept aloof.
She asked one question
only one question.
I was keenly watching her face:
Non plussed.
"We are One",
"Can you define"?
"YES, ONE",
Defined...An endless definition.

Big Applause!

'He comes with his armour,

Please give him a big applause!'
'His words are apt and associated with
Contemporary life,
Facing day today affairs,
Of poor and destitutes
Give a big applause!'
'He has to inaugurate the water connection,
grocery shop
Saloon and circus
Give a great applause!
Flag hoisting ceremony,
coupon distribution, and
handing over the key
Of the proposed foundation
Give him a warm applause!
Throwing an enchanted smile
He returned, after some years,
With same air and manner.!

Clepsydras

Time is anterior to you, to me, to us,
and nothing is written, except for the interiority
breathing in the innocence of the words,
consummating the beginning
and the peak of souls and bodies,
the intact spirit relishing the pure,
pristine moments of this new world opening
in the blissful thrill of a precious flame,
everything otherwise saying, everything revealing,
in the time without time, between the magic
and voluptuousness of moonlight and silence
recasting the wave of timeless clepsydras.

Inner Truth

It's like the gold girding around me,
the climbing heart proclaiming
the purple bowls, the pursuing eyes,
the bees carrying the honeycombs,
the pasty mosaics.
In the Japanese sake,
which I never drank, I sip.
In the jasmine that I absorb
from Eastern lips,
sweetest is the word that snatches
the fruits, breaking down the chimaeras,
living the truth, the inner truth,
the sublimated yearning,
the ethereal smile floating on the violet
cloud of winged gods.

Your Magnetic Grace

Like a shimmering sun you gild with your beam.
Such spectical divine, I have never ever seen.
At the sight of all that you behold so fair, I fail to
keep away from your glare.
Alluring my eyes as a spectator in awe, it's you
with you all my dream I share.
Your magnetic beam penetrate deep to leave my
emotions bare.
I bask in your warmth O! Dear.

Ambrosial nectar of patience foundation of love
with many a rill waters the garden of my dreams,
adorned with flowers of your choice.
Murmuring breeze suffuse the tapestry with your
sweet voice.
Your magical grace, I behold in my embrace.
Who can escape this intricate maze.
I cannot ignore your magnetic grace.

Escape

Love soars on the wings of hope.
Passions float by the ambrosial shore,
estatic love linger between the reef,
come, let us dive deep to reap it's fruit.
Let it's magic seep.
Bare heart yearns for one glimpse,
longs to sing the melody sweet.
Ocean of faith burns steady and fast,
I fearlessly surge through the storm.
Caress your heart, kiss your scars,
emotions embrace you firmly from far.
Melodious strings attached
to you my enigmatic love,
yearn to touch your cord and penetrate deep.
Hope lies in lap of dreams.
As the soulful crescendo richochet,
from the labyrinthine arcade crestfallen heart escape.

Saga of Love

I owe you my soul, thou love is a miracle,
As my soaring soul belongs to your circle,
I am an inner child of divine life creation,
Human body is built for a holy recreation.
My simple life flows for its own purpose,
Accept it in any way as it comes to dispose,
Body is not everlasting, birth is usual, a bliss,
Love never shuts down, in all ways, it is His.
Being built in a perfect, celestial structure,
I do owe you my body; I am just a creature,
With flesh and blood, I am a miracle of love,
Nothing belongs to me, my life is from above.
Take me to your garden; let me smell the essence,
I love human, animals, the flowers and fragrance.
Let the heavenly ecstasy be restored as a bounty,
As soul begins an eternal Journey to His country.

Olive Tree

When new olive tree blossoms, all conflicts will end,
showing the angels of all peace creations to descend,
This fruit garden of you and me, where our childhood
dreams flourished under the shade of that tree stood,
In the shades and shadows of the big orange-grove,
You and me, hugging together our love grew to prove,
We are one, in our own life, will never ever to depart,
Among the sharp thorns, green hills, oasis of this desert,
Although I was not dead, on that ill fated day of war day,
On my chest, I sadly, silently placed a tombstone today,
During that dreadful night of my loved true friend's death,
No clouds, no blue skies, no oceans, no stars to talk with,
With all anthems of life and harmony, now singing in love,
Bringing all peace, accord and bliss from heaven above.
All of new life now bearing in minds to reveal the truth;
it is the empathy of desire which will give a second birth.

I Breathe

I breathe through my heart,
Standing like a firm tree with branches
Covered in bright green leaves.

I breathe with my mind when I think
Everything small, limited, full of fear,
Hope in rising air renews with fresh life.

I breathe through my arms spread open
To the Earth embracing this sweet moment
Singing and dancing at my feet.

I breathe through my nose oxygen breeze
Fragrance of roses, jasmines squeeze,
My soul touches the Universe to beseech.

I breathe the sky echoing moonbeams
The remnants of lost universes borderless
Time stops being time at times it seems.

Bloom

I worry my soft blooms have gone away,
Beauty of youth has passed away,
I reminisce the dawns of early days,
When flawless skin till dusk did stay.

I have lost my steps of sultry dance,
My grey kohl eyes would stop a glance,
My slender figure time has cast away,
So feel it is in vain to hide my grey.

I dread my crowns will soon advance,
And see my years in mirror's pass,
But my smile, my lively eyes show,
A view of blooming maturing glow.

My heart and mind are always at ease,
I see my years in peaceful release,
No matter what the mirror says to me,
My soul moves along in good deeds.

Ageless Mirror
I stand to face you every day
Moments fly in blink
You make me realize each day
The thinning curls, thin lines and faded glow
Reminds me of my arch
Reminds me of my spark
Where as Mirror, you on the wall
Watch me growing old
Watch me and my course
Rewind me with the messages and memories
Refresh me with new theory
To adapt and accept the change
To renew and review the preface
To scroll and roll my act in this stage
You understand the language of my eye
You understand the words of my sigh
You fill me with energy
You disown me, when I remain in negativity
You adore me when my cheeks blossom
You encourage me to put effort for flawless notion
You are the instant self revelation
You are the pure in your action
You are ageless and dutifully admire time's advance fraction.

A Different Serenade

Days when music was playing its role in our hearts
Alphabets were dancing synchronically
Words tend not to wait chronologically
Thoughts were flowing abruptly
Singing each melody swiftly
Every flower of our hearts blossomed rapidly
We waited minutes and second patiently
To see each other, to be with each other,
To share with each other all the occurrence immediately,
Perhaps we knew,
we knew each other closely.
But..
When our strings broke its cord
Our music ceased to surge
We search thought
We look for filament for some magical knock
We hunt for tune which will buzz and our hearts will bloom
Yet
The Waiting continues for a different serenade.

A Possession

Like a hyena, a man
Sans the sharp teeth and sloping back,
Wanders with an eye for flesh of woman
Cloudy dark hairs, deep naval and groin,
Apple breasts, the curves and moony lips,
Never but crossing the boundaries of skins,
Seldom bothering for her inner beauty or minds
Because woman, always a savoury, a possession
A treasure that brings out flames of fire in rain.
Woman often remains insignificant
A naught, writing on a mud wall,
To be wiped plundering in fields or rooms
Pillaging in buses, even office couches
Masking the frightened face to impede her groans
By overt monsters tear the pink flesh
In dark nights for their happiness.

By My Side

After the initial burst
After quenching the thirst,
I saw the sun getting dim
I saw the stars getting gloomy.
I saw the river getting dry
The ocean vanishing into sky,
Mountains going deep down
But I never saw you leaving my hand,
Even when I was blown away in winds
Drowned inside waters of the torrential rains.

Sometimes time crawled, sometimes sprinted,
But now it appears to have again slowed down.
Thence sun got dimmer, ocean vanished into sky
But O' life, you haven't forsaken me to perish dry.
So be with me together to steal the sun
And shine the earth,
So be with me by the side to have fun
Till I wind up with my breath.
So be with me to steal the sun and shine the earth
So be with me by side till I wind-up with all my breath.

A Child Wedding

It's The ceremony was on,
overseen by a priest and village hanger-ons,
of a marriage fixed and soon to be performed.

Drums beat and trumpets blew,
and amidst it all, she sat to little clue,
Innocent to her fate, oblivious to a call.

A gift given, promise taken,
mesmerized by a toy,
that shiny little ball,
holding her in a truly magical thrall.

How would the little one even have known,
she was being forsaken
by those whom she must have
thought to be her very own.

Meera Bai

Neither elephants, kingdom, wealth or name,
Nor chariots, horses, power or fame,

Could hold her in thrall or in bind,
Devotee she was, of a different kind,

Out of her mind, chanted voices unkind,
As she set forth, leaving it all behind,

Intoxicated in love, her lover divine,
A search fructified, a soul dissolved,
to an union sublime!

Unsaid Words

Thoughts give birth to words
But some of them
Just fly away as birds !

So many words we yearn to say
But to utter
Some I may not or I may !
Some words reach the lips
But are stopped by heart,
Not sanctioned
To emerge in world's Mart.
The words which we don't say,
Do they go anywhere..Nay !!
In our mind
For long they stay
With our heart
They continue to play.
Get merged as fragrance
Erupt again as remembrance !!
