I Miss You
When I can't sleep at night
When rain drops fall heavily, I miss you.
When I remain alone
I remain alone most of the time
I miss you.
I miss you so much
I have to remain far away from you yet
When I burn in my own bodily desire
When i sing a song
When whisper a poem
I miss you.
I like to kiss you
Hold you tight in my arms
I know I can't
I miss you.
When I touch my flute
When write a poem
I miss you.
When the sun shines so bright
The sky is deep blue,
I miss you.
When there's no sound in midnight dark
When I wake up at dawn,
I miss you.
Before I go to sleep
When my sleep breaks at night,
I miss you.
Miss you like a lover misses his love
I miss you.
I miss you.

Fourth Dimension
I am an outsider on this flying trapeze
longing to move forward.
Racing up to this run
I am in a game of
hide and seek of a measured dream.
This is a wingless flight that always spins me
back into
a cold emptiness of fixed loop.
The farther I go nothing is left
undone or done

tomorrow too fades into
yesterday's image of an intra-space

but
now reap blood from torn soil.
Are they not tired of planting souls
between deep woods and charred wings to
let tortoise blink long miles of

and to make tree trunks

standing upright in their

Blanketing frozen tears of
humanity,
Why you are withdrawing your embrace
very shortly?
standing unmoved with crossed hand,
How is your silent tower
staying unwind? Alone!
Do you sleep well there?
or staying as a frozen.
You are buying human
ambitions by selling your tower's scarce.
People, risking their life,
to be zoomed in your background,
in the name of conquering,
feeding their ego.
Could you please, come down once to
climb the deepness of ocean?
Hope
Chunking the hopes
I am dousing deep in my heart
from those wetted hope,
I might need to mop the ugly circumstances
tomorrow early morning
to mirror myself again !
Therefore,
breaking the hopes
I am crocheting the hope
continuously.
Standing alone bank of the life's river.

Your Smile !
In the crowded space of Diwali fare,
You were looking like
A drop in the ocean;
My roving eyes when captured your image,
I was spellbound,
Halted in my motion;
By dint of luck,
Your eyes met mine,
It was a brief encounter;
But once again the magic wand moved,
And sweet bells kept ringing
With meaningful rhymes;
Then you smiled coyly, and
I was bowled over;
Your infectious smile is
My treasure to keep!
Love Stories
I fall on earth
After leaving abode
In the shape of raindrops,
I miss you, clouds;
Fishermen break my safety
Cover and extract,
I'm the pearl,
I miss you, shells;
I look intently with
Moist eyes, I'm
The fallen leaves
I miss you, trees
Winds coming from everywhere
Echoes my agony,
I'm lovelorn diva,
I miss you, my beau!

I Didn't Forget You
Many years have passed
but the pain hasn't subsided in me
tears go down the eyes
when someone asks me about us.
In the heart, deep void lies
and in my throat there's a stone
I'm still looking for your eyes
while the days are slowly gone.
People say time heals
that the pain and love torments will pass
but in me your traces
and deep wounds are not yet erased.
Many years have passed
and my eyes didn't
dry out from tears
I hope you are happy somewhere else
while for you
my soul still says prayers.
Always Stay The Same
I love it when
your lips smile
and black eyes
glistening in the dark
when you kiss me
shyly as a child
while we're passing
quietlyin our alley.
My heart beats
with happiness
when I hold you
like a bird in my lap
be always like the sun my dear
so I can never feel cold winter.
Let your whisper
wake me every morning
let the kisses fall
instead of rain
don't stop loving me
let your love, beautiful
keep me alive forever.
I love when your lips kiss me
and your dance
onthe rain in the summer
stay always as you are now
and I will be the happiest man in the world.

Life is always a debut.
Like an agave–
only once
does it tempt with its blossoming beauty.
We learn words,
to be able to talk
and to try to understand the world.
We learn about life,
so with dignity
and our heads raised
we can say:
I don't regret.
Jokester
We frolic with death,
everyday we joke about life.
And its lips by.
Everyday we get closer
to no longer being human,
instead to being
only a body
and a memory
in the minds of the Jokesters.

In Search of Peace
I kept on moving from one prison to another,
For years and years and had no strength to move further.
I started doubting myself, losing all hope,
As if there was no way out, absolutely no scope.
Ruminating over my own condition,
I almost forgot to participate in the conversation.
Until brought back to senses by the strong touch of the jailer,
We had almost reached the unreachable cellar.
How traumatized was I at the sight of the carcass!
Was that a horrendous painting on the canvas ?
The unexpected click of the key opening the oxidized lock,
Brought a stir in the painting and it began to flock.
Moved the silhouette, flagging and limping,
Mumbling in a voice flimsy and quaking quavering.
How shaken was I at her condition!
Observing her moth-eaten clothes, her chiselled face and blood flecked eyes.
I notified her how much for her, the humanity cries.
With her contorted, rheumatic fingers, she held my hands.
Just have a look at me, my son and tell me today, where do I stand?
A Lone Wolf
I watch the city like a lone wolf in the crowd that
Divides the hum and haw from sincerity and senses.
The people avoid getting down to the nitty-gritty blinded by dazzles.
As I avoid the people on the rocks walk,
All set to rob Peter to pay Paul, pretending rolling in money.
Feel I like passing through a rogue's gallery, unnoticed, non-existent.
The world around me is falling like the house of cards
I observe honesty, truthfulness, integrity, love, care,
Vanishing in front of my eyes in thin air.
The vacant eyes search for a genuine friend,
Who is so hard to identify among thousand strangers.
Trying to climb the ladder of success,
Trespassing warning given by wise men,
Working day and night to make a memorial shrubbery.
Sparing no time for introspection they
Never understood that they are heading towards D-Day.
And everything will come to an end so soon.
Could not they have given it a thought?
That all the worldly possession they bought,
Would lead to disaster that would never be unwrought.
Could not I do something to save the doom?
Getting rid of the fear that looms
Have taken I the decision of coming out of gloom and why not take a lucky
dip into the evening of the moon?

You Come As A Goddess
I feel so joyful, when you come as a goddess,
With the moon on the forehead and the stars in the hair,
And, with sweet laugh, the spring you caress,
Like its flowers that are not measured there.
When I see your eyes like charcoal, bright,
To me, every vision in the world disappears,
And the sun seems distant, turned off his light,
Even though the day is beautiful, washed in glitter.
The days take life from your rays too
And my heart kindles the dawns in the peaks,
Smiles full of light when you say "I love you",
And all its colors, in my soul, Spring ignites.
Love spreads its wings to enfold our heart,
With the dreams of life the souls radiate,
With our love that we have a shield smart,
Time blossoms and beautifies happiness.
I Am Waiting
Time flies, in her madness, with fury,
Something disappears and something goes west,
You challenged the time and you didn't remain a memory,
To disturb my soul, like the autumn leaves.
You remained a song that often comes so fast,
With the breeze of flowers that sings for me,
In my memories, for the time that passed,
And the sweet spring always brings it to me.
From the flowers washed with the beautiful dew.
With the sound of whistle he calls me every morning,
You appear to me with the rays of dawn beyond,
And I try to keep my heart from exploding.
I would never compare the sun more beautifully,
With your joy so close to me, my love,
You are far away, but I feel you so closely,
I don't know what to do, I just open my arms.

My Lovely Fool
Oh, my lovely fool!
Why do you recoil, for what fault of mine;
what misdeed I authored!
I swear by my love;
I know no other face except
your moonlight countenance, which never allows me
any wanton delight other than drinking honey,
your cherry blossom smile spills over.
My love! I know no other place
except your heart's tender couch, where I luxuriate,
like a cuckoo cooing from a sheltered grove.
My love! I know no other fire barring the fire of love
burning bright your radiant form;
let that fire devour me alive;
for this hapless creature longs, once again,
to rise from the ashes.
Judge Me
Judge me once, at least; if you wish.
Scoop me out of your dark niche ever stinking
with isolation and throw me out, bag and baggage,
and see for yourself, how I can outsmart you
by gate crashing your heart's courtyard
with a moon-lit smile.
Judge me once, at least; if you wish.
Unlock me from your rusty, rickety cage;
and see for yourself, how, gathering spring
to my feet and wings, I can scale to dizzy heights,
far beyond all mortal means
and bounce back, in a while,
from the jewelled gates of blue heaven,
carrying for you in my beak, a letter celestial,
wrapped with a streak of gilded cloud
caressed by sun and wind.

Soul Mirror
Don't turn your eyes away my dearest,
Even if you do my light will float in your vision in earnest,
Within your depths where you still see me,
Where lies truth split into rays a million to flee,
Touching the darkest legions of your mind,
An endless tunnel spiraling to an unseen sigh, light to find,
Don't turn your purpose from my life ever,
When you've run and you pant to pause don't say "never",
For there I will wait to put lucid dreams back into your hope,
My veins and nerves will I offer as you hold on like a rope,
And when it is time for the stars to come out,
Night skies will never be a reason to stop your journey, have no
doubt,
For I shall hold my soul mirror to reflect a brightness,
My faith that you shall reach the shore will end the darkness.
Pagan Dance
Lost in a haze neither purple nor grey,
As time marks itself recording life on her tresses each day,
She conjures love born out of joy and pain,
Breathing the thrill of petrichor quenching thirst in the first rain,
Oblivious to who watches her, for she doesn't really care,
Time nor age is of no consequence, life she will dare,
As all her songs echoing her poems will rise with the dawn,
Moist with exhilaration she dances, dew on a grassy lawn.
Thank You
Don't turn your eyes away my dearest,
Even if you do my light will float in your vision in earnest,
Where lies truth split into rays a million to flee,
Within your depths where you still see me,

Exploring life's actual goal
Born to be a mother
Sworn to be a sacrifice
Dedicating entire life finding infinite possibility
Experiencing the presence of strength courage and dignity
Treasure Trove
My Father was a treasure trove
Filled with care and love
He was a man, interwoven
Bold, adventurous, courageous, gallant and a superhuman
Loved and loved to be loved by all
Your little girl grew up to a lady
Amazed you with her confidence and beauty
Loved you in return
Overloaded with life barrel
Considered you as the most precious gift of God
She proved to be a daddy's daughter
You taught her to be strong
Bustling around daring dauntless
You nurtured your daughter's daughter pretty princess
She is now a year old with your patience parenting.
Your life bubbled in our shining lives
Never dreamt about the creation so fragile as glorious.
The rainbow had spread its colors so intense and wide
And crossed the world of horizon
Proving that time never heals fission.

Musings
The world seems ecentric to me
Gesture doesn't exist anywhere
Distressing feat shatters me
Creating gloom everywhere
Why to go long and long
in this pessimism and desotation
Where to find solace
in the world of ruination
Ray of positivity seems to vanish
No one heals the wound
Betrayal compels to banish
But hidden hope revives the downed
Is this my dream place
Which i always longed for
Numerous dares to face
Here my emotions burned and
took for.
Divine Love
Love sparkles in your eyes,
Confers me inspiration,
Allurement fills enthusiasm,
Coaxing bestows motivation,
Purity of thy heart,
embraces my confusion,
Makes life beautiful
with passionate adoration.
Thy enticing glance radiates shining reverence,
Entraps my heart with assured affection,
Ambiance of thy adoring presence,
Flickers a ray of hope in distraction.

Those Divine Tears
Those divine tears..
It started to flow
From the core of my eyes

With some untold stories
With some invisible mysteries
With some unseen glories
With some angelic fairies,
To meet your heart
To reach your art
To breath your Love
To bow your feet,
It known the truth
That you are mine
Oh ! My beloved God
You are my Bliss..!
This Moments Are Magic..!
This moments are magic
A rainbow writes me lyrics
Thousand stars in my heart
My crystal mind paints your art !
Melodies from thy flowers
Memories from my thoughts
Oh, those glistening rain drops
Kissing me with hope !
My dazzling dreams
They welcome your spring
A divine flute of your vibes
Singing the songs of Universe !
As thy love has given me wings
I am flying like a passionate bird
I could dance with your words
Oh ! this moments of yours, is magic.!!

Love Counts
I love you,
Since we met
feeling always
we are real soul mates
and so love flows
as if it's endless LOVE...
LOVE makes my
world alive
and so perfect,
Even heavenly
that I could live
as God planned- happy ME!
Let Peace and Justice Reign
Let's make the world a better and a fairer place
By promoting peace and a good sense of justice,
For under the rule of law they are so vital
And are real blessings to human survival.
Peace and justice are so embedded in our hearts,
By God's command, they should be respected and loved
Let them not be bargained away nor compromised
So that in our just world they could reign eternal.
Hence, let no man be disturbed in his work and rest,
Nor be maltreated through oppression, violence,
For when peace and justice are violated, dimmed
Poisoned hatred takes over and exact revenge.
Let's respect every man whatever his race, creed
Let him live, work, praise and dance the way he wishes,
Let there be no bullying, negativism
But friendship, caring, brotherhood, co-existence.
Let there be no greed for fame and goods for sharing
Let there be no persecution, war, violence
As God have ordained and by natural design,
Let peace and justice thrive in our world, reign supreme.
Peace we must cherish and justice we must enjoy,
Let us respect them, live with them forevermore.

Be My Love
In your eyes I see myself
In your tears I drown
I want you to be
Near me..
Your forgiveness i owe you
Your love i need
May your heart receive me..
Like a queen
I want you to believe me..
I want you to see me..
So get ready
It's my right
Oh how much i love your voice
And your laugh.. oh my faith
I will not know why
Only you my heart.
Honey Eyes
Those sweet eyes
Candles burn without mercy
Its memories left a mark
It reminds me a majestic beauty
Honey coded eyes
Only beloved understands them
Dancing and flirting far away
As if they were a strange sea
Sends its summer breezes
To revive the broken heart
And refreshes the spirit of young child
Those magical eyes
As if a flash of nostalgia
Breaking the hustle of passersby
And weaken severity of others
They are honey eyes.

My thoughts are not always said
My verses are petals in red
Even when spring is sad
My flowers never fade
Since love makes me mad
Free is all I want to be
Only treasures I want to see
And my wings will guide me
Where horizon appears in the sea.

@Hayet Haj Khlil, Cygne de Vie
86 | Dr. K.C. Sethi & Sunita Sethi
Hayet Haj Khlil
Hayet Haj Khalil was born on 10 April 1968 in Mahdia, a
city in Tunisia. From her father, she learned the perseverance
and devotion for work and from her mother she inherited
kindness and tenderness. Hayet lived in a patriarchal family,
where art is glorified and literature and science are wings to
reach a better life.
Sherished by her uncles, her aunts, her six brothers and her
sister, she is now grateful for the smile they painted for ever
on her face. That smile is also the result of devoted teachers
and helpful friends. She had her baccalaureate in "Lycée
mixte de Mahdia, where the shy girl was not making noise
but was writing her future with dignity.
Four years after, she had a master degree in combined
languages ( English/ Italian) from the Bourguiba institute of
languages ( I.B.L.V). In 1992, she begun teaching French
language in the south of Tunisia. There, she learned to be
more close to pupils and to discover the unseen thanks to
their hospitality. In 1994, she was married to her beloved, the
engineer Lotfi Hachani and they got two blessed sons: Mehdi
and Walid, future engineers, too.
After the Jasmin revolution in 2011, she started to Express
her thoughts, to share photos of flowers of her garden, to
encourage pupils learning, to emancipate the spirit of both
women and men on her Facebook page. Being a polyglot (
Arabic as a mother tongue,French as the second language in
Tunisia, English as a third language at school, Italian as a
combined language at university), she felt that all humans
sing the same language, that of the heart. Thanks to her will
to unify souls from the five continents, Cygne de vie had
birth one night and from that time it became the nest of her
dreams and the wings of her soul.
In classroom, on the blackboard she invites her pupils to
travel through letters and on her Facebook page, she inspires
and gets inspired, she teaches and gets wisdom, knowledge
and hope. She makes from her own photos lessons and from
her actions a school for love, peace and art. From 2017 she
started writing in anthologies compiled by the prestigious
Indian poet, the Golden Book of World Record holder, man
of virtue Mr Sethi Krishan Chand and his wife Mrs Sunita
Sethi. My research paper about pictorial poetry in
Expanding Horizons is my first print in the world of edition.

With the first ray of morning glory
The dew drops are shining bright
Do i wait a moment more
or preserve your essence in me
My world of dreams dream only you
Love colors are unique sprinkling your hue
My world's axis revolves around you
because I believe I got best of you
You are far away from me
Yet I feel you in closet of my heart
I pray we remain together forever
May we never be apart
Pray all remains safe due to HIM
Every one remains blessed
thanks to HIM.

LOVE is a small four letter word
yet it covers my whole universe
It connects our melodious heart strings
Of rhythmic heart beat swings
We met as strangers to become dear friends
Now it is love necter flowing essence
Our love is indescribable blessing
It is wonderful and completely amazing
I dont have words to describe my feelings
Your touch, your smiles are mesmerising heavens
Our souls that reside in each other's souls
Is a reflection of pure platinum and gold
We would live with intense heart beats
Following each other here n life after as it leads.

For Ever Your Own
Why did you enter my life
as a thief of thought,
heart, soul and body?
You are approaching me%You are approaching me
you steal my thoughts,
you sow seas all over my body.
After dusk you steal my dream
you caress my soul according to your own
and you take my heart part, by part!
when you are with me everything is yours,
with the ego you hurt my pride.
You leave me with a naked soul, empty thoughts and heartache.
Leave once and for all!
I want to restore my peace,
Scented nights and joyful mornings.
Nothing will bring me closer to you
I will close the pain suitcase
I will throw it at the sea bottom.
New days will color my morning
hoping to be your own again
just your own and happy without you!!!
I will love you quietly
A sad tear shed on face
In a tone of heavy darkness
Lighted by a celestial vault
Diffused sentimental feelings have burst.
While I was covered by shadows
staying in the dark
I take some of the light for personal transformation
To live the curtain of the century.
I hear the sound of a magic string
which brightens the day
I run away from you like the dawn of the night
And you pull me out of the darkness when I need you the most.
I become a runner through the winds
Creative urges to flow freely
I sink into your eyes illuminated by love
I will love you quietly with mature beauties in us.
Today I am wandering in timelessness
The years flow like a flock in flight,
and your love stirreth up the longings of my flesh
not to kill the bird in me,
not to forget the flight inside

Love
I feel love is a source of joy,
In the darkness of life, it is unconditional affection and joy.
But I felt acutely the sufferings of humanity.
When I see the starving peasantry,
Impoverished and helpless humanity.
When I see the people in rags,
And regal splendor on the other.
Then I can't reconcile to this vulgar display of wealth,
And just can't sing soothing songs of love.
Admitted, we couldn't turn this earth into a lane of love,
We removed a few thorns at least where ever we passed.
My Life
I have desires countless, which I somehow suppress.
If I live little longer this life I find,
I have other ideas in my mind.
All joy from my heart flies,
Without some reason, nobody cries.
Thousands of desires life consuming and tough,
I had fulfilled them in plenty, but not enough.
It is ages now that we were by our friends visited,
And had the home with food and candles illuminated.
I woke up and looked my face in the mirror,
The poor mirror felt small as it saw my glamour.

Confession
Though,
You might not see
Where have you been dwelt.
Though,
I might not show
Where do you lie.
You might be searching,
Yourself all over,
here and there,
Not knowing a guilty.
But
I am sorry
I have already confessed
to my heart,
When i entrapped you
And
Since then
You are all over me.
Flowers
Sometimes,
the times thrives
and sometimes
the evil shades,
you won't know
when the colour fades.
but you know,
time changes
and that won't be so far,
if you wait.
are you feeling weak?
go to the garden
and a colour you choose,
bring it home
and plant.
let that flower blossom on you
hope the better
and obviously new
do not let the time to stale
for,
those flowers
are happiness and the grace.
