with the yellow fruit (cloud berry). Then started collecting blackberries
(blueberries) in the northern part of the berry forest. The picking season for red
berry (lingon berry) usually begins in early September, but it may begin earlier in
the south. as well as down Berry picking work is planned and carried out
individually in each group. This means that working groups may be able to go
berry picking in the woods. pre-fertilized plants with varying berry quantity and
quality
The most important aspect is that the berries ripen when picked. Red
balls (lingon berry) and black balls (blueberry) berries ripen about two weeks
after the fruit turns red or blue. based on the type of fruit Using a berry picker
may yield more berries than hand picking, but pickers must exercise caution
when handling berry pickers. To avoid damaging the berry bunches, which could
have an impact on the following year's berry harvest. The berry picker will not
be used while collecting yellow balls (Cloudberry). Other than being left empty-
handed, the berries must only be placed in clean plastic bins. which is the best
method of preserving berries To avoid transferring berries from one location to
another, do not place berries in plastic bags or backpacks. This will make the
berries more susceptible to damage. Cover the top of the tank with plastic wrap
to keep foreign matter out of it. It should be remembered that berries are a type
of edible that must be handled hygienically. Berries should be picked with clean
hands. Hands should be washed with soap and water. Bring alcohol for hand
washing or other cleaners that are similar to those found in the forest. Every day,
you should also clean the berry picker.
11
It is strictly forbidden to pick berries that have been damaged, have an
unusual colour, are wet, or show signs of disease. Also, avoid picking berries that
grow in areas where toxic substances are present, such as industrial sites. On
highways or railroads, in landfills, or on land where fertilizers or pesticides have
been applied.
12
Berries must be transported as quickly as possible to the point of
purchase. So that the berries' quality does not deteriorate, this must be done on
the same day they were picked. Keep the berries away from direct sunlight and
strong odors. So that the berries don't spoil, store them properly. Berries must
not be washed before being transported to the point of purchase. Before
weighing, debris such as leaves and moss must be removed. Foreign objects such
as stones, broken glass, metal shards, and so on must be removed from the
berries. Mold, foreign odors, and foreign fruits must be avoided in the berries.
Krakbar fruit, which resembles an unacceptable berry, allows for small
fragments due to the weight of berries and monkeys. But wait, a "crawling berry"
will appear in a moment. Do not purchase immature, rotten, wet, or immature
berries.

the forest tends to get wet; put on thin socks as a first layer. and then layered
with thick socks Then, place your boots on the outside to reduce the risk of shoe
bites. If a shoe bite or abrasion occurs, thoroughly wash the affected area. It's a
good idea to have one extra shirt on hand. This is due to the fact that the
weather can change quickly or if you will be staying for a longer period of time
than anticipated. It can be warm during the day in the summer and fall, but
temperatures can drop very low at night. night time It's also a good idea to have
extra food and water on hand, especially warm drinks. If you're lost and stressed,
your blood sugar will drop, so bring a bag of sweets or candy with you to boost
your blood sugar levels. We recommend that you avoid eating mushrooms in
the forest if you want to start thinking more clearly. Since many mushrooms are
poisonous, another item you should bring with you is a compass. (as it is the
most certain way to find your way), whistles, and anything that can catch fire. It's
also a good idea to carefully study the map before venturing into the woods,
making sure there are roads and power lines in particular, as these are excellent
guides for determining where you are. It is critical to gather as a group!
16
4.1 If you get lost in the forest
stop walking and try to find a way to contact your friends. by shouting
or whistling Using a whistle makes it louder and can be heard farther than
shouting. I'm sure many people will be looking for you in a few hours. The best
part is that you stay in the same location until you are discovered. If it starts to
get dark, you'll have to try to calm yourself down and find some shelter. Don't
go out at night. If you choose to walk home, stick to the path. Along the
waterway, the road with the electric pole line Or something similar, always mark
your path when walking. Go in any direction by pointing half of the stick like an
arrow and putting items in a prominent location, such as a plastic bag or a berry
picker. If you come across a road, pull over or walk down the street until
assistance arrives.

The average temperature in June, July, and August is around 15
degrees Celsius. Summer in northern Finland is bright even in the evening, and
the sun does not set at all during the summer. This is what we call the midnight
sun, and it is autumn at the end of August and beginning of September. Daytime
light will decrease as the air temperature drops and becomes colder and rainier;
severe weather conditions may occur; therefore, it is critical to pay attention to
weather warnings.

the Canadian tundra. The female weighs between 60 and 170 kg. The height
ranges between 162 and 205 cm. The male has a larger body. It weighs 100–318
kg, stands 180–214 cm tall, and has a tail length of 14–20 cm. In December, older
males will sprout. In the spring, young males display their horns. It is thought to
be the world's largest horned deer. The hair on the body is usually brown.
However, in the winter, the hair will turn a lighter color or white.
24
⚫ Moose (Elk/Moose)
From the hump to the ground, a moose measures 170-210 cm and
weighs 200-700 kg. It consumes grass, leaves, and twigs. They are widely available
and widely available throughout the country. They are usually not harmful to
anyone. However, if they feel threatened, they are capable of attacking humans,

50 cm. It has a yellow- gray ground color. An adult moose can be killed by a
single wolf. Wolves avoid human
contact, and seeing them is difficult.
Humans are rarely attacked by
wolves. However, there have been
reports of wolves biting the dead,
which will occur at the end of
September.
⚫ Bear
A carnivorous animal is a bear. It also eats berries, ants, and herbs. It
primarily consumes blueberries in
the fall. One bear weighs between
45 and 230 kg and measures
between 45 and 230 cm in length.
At 135-250 hrs., the bear
population is at its peak. It can be
found on the eastern border and in
Lapland. Normally, bears do not attack humans. But it is possible.

Europe, and it is most active at
night. They are ridgeback
wildlife, meaning they prefer to
live in mountainous and steep
terrain. They are shy creatures
who avoid human contact. A
single lynx weighs between 7
and 30 kilograms, has a body length of 70-120 cm, and a trailing length of 15 to
25 cm. Most of the time, the Lynx lynx hunts and eats deer, hares, wild birds,
and small rodents for food.
⚫ Wasp
Mature wasps are 11-16 mm long and feed on flower nectar and fruit.
They enjoy sweets such as blueberry nectar. The wasp has a sting that is linked
to the poison gland, and when punched, the stinger will bury itself at the surface.
It will build underground nests or a few hanging nests in various locations. Wasps
use stings and attacks to defend
themselves and their nests. If you've
only been stung once, the sting is
usually innocuous. If you are a sensitive
person who has been repeatedly

can help prevent snake bites if you run as fast as you can.
28
⚫ Ticks
Ticks are parasites that feed on blood. They are responsible for a
variety of diseases, including burreldia (Lymedisease) and tick-borne encephalitis
(TBE). It is possible to be immunized against tick-borne encephalitis. The tick is
only about 2-3 mm long, but it protects itself by sucking blood. Ticks are most
commonly found in grass and scrubland. If you've been bitten by a tick, you
should remove it as soon as possible. Pull out the tick with tweezers or a tick
creeper. Pull the tick as close to your skin as possible, without wringing your
hand, as this will cause the tick's mouth to become stuck on the surface. Use an
antiseptic to clean the wound. If you are unable to completely remove the tick,
wait a few days until a minor skin inflammation develops. This will make
extracting the rest easier. If redness develops in the tick bite area after a few
weeks, always check it. Or, if you become ill, you will always need to see a
doctor.
