เชน่ บน, ใต้, ด้านหลัง, ดา้ นหนา้ , ดา้ นขา้ ง, เหนอื , ระหวา่ ง, ขา้ งใน, ขา้ ง ๆ เป็นต้น

โครงสรา้ งประโยคการใช้ prepositions of place (ใชก้ ับส่งิ ของ)

สง่ิ ของ1 + is + Prep.+ ส่งิ ของ2.

สง่ิ ของ1 = สง่ิ ของท่ีเราตอ้ งการบอก
is = แปลวา่ เป็น, อย,ู่ คือ (ใช้กบั ประธานเอกพจน)์
Prep. = คำบุพบทบอกตำแหนง่ (ย่อมาจาก preposition of place)
ส่ิงของ2 = สิ่งของทใ่ี ช้อ้างทีต่ ัง้ ของ สงิ่ ของ1

ตวั อยา่ งประโยค หนูอยใู่ นกล่อง
The mouse is in the box. หนูอยบู่ นกลอ่ ง
The mouse is on the box. หนูอยใู่ ตก้ ลอ่ ง
The mouse is under the box. หนูอยดู่ ้านหน้ากลอ่ ง
The mouse is in front of the box. หนูอยตู่ รงข้ามกบั กลอ่ ง
The mouse is opposite the box. หนูอยดู่ ้านหลงั กลอ่ ง
The mouse is behind the box. หนูอยถู่ ัดจากกล่อง
The mouse is next to the box. หนูอยรู่ ะหว่างกลอ่ ง 2 กลอ่ ง
The mouse is between the boxes.

โครงสร้างประโยคการใช้ prepositions of place (ใชก้ บั สถานที่) ------------
Place1 + is + Prep.+ place2. ------------

Place1 = สถานทีท่ เี่ ราตอ้ งการบอก
is = แปลว่า เป็น, อย,ู่ คือ (ใช้กบั ประธานเอกพจน)์
Prep. = คำบพุ บทบอกตำแหนง่ (ย่อมาจาก preposition of place)
place2 = สถานทท่ี ี่ใช้อ้างทีต่ ้ังของ place1

The bakery is in front of the hotel.
รา้ นขนมปงั อยู่ด้านหนา้ โรงแรม

The hotel is behind the bakery.
โรงแรมอยู่ด้านหลงั ร้านขนมปงั

The post office is next to the school.
ทที่ ำการไปรษณีย์อยถู่ ัดจากโรงเรยี น

The 7 eleven is opposite the shop.
รา้ น 7 eleven อยตู่ รงข้ามรา้ นค้า

The pet shop is between the pizza shop and the book shop.
รา้ นขายสินค้าสตั วเ์ ลยี้ งอยู่ระหวา่ งรา้ นพซิ ซา่ และรา้ นหนังสือ
