REGULATIONS, 1994 1994/066

Title and commencement.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Works (Hoardings and
Fences) Regulations 1994 and shall come into effect on the 1st day of
August, 1994.

Application to erect a hoarding.

2. An application to erect a hoarding made in accordance with rule 3(2) of
the Building Works (Hoardings and Fences) Rules 1994, shall be made in
the form specified in Schedule 1.

Permission for the erection of a hoarding.

3. Where permission is granted to erect a hoarding, the notice to be issued in
accordance with rule 3(4) of the Building Works (Hoardings and Fences)
Rules 1994, shall be in the form specified in Schedule 2.

Application for extension of time.

4. An application made in accordance with rule 10(1) of the Building Works
(Hoardings and Fences) Rules, 1994, to defer the date by which a hoarding
shall have been removed, shall be made in the form specified in Schedule 3.

Other notices required under the Building Works (Hoardings and
Fences) Rules 1994.

5. All other notices required to be served in accordance with the Building
Works (Hoardings and Fences) Rules 1994, shall be in the form determined
by the authorised officer or agent of the Government.

Application of these regulations to fences.

6. Regulations 2 to 5 and Schedule 1 to 3 shall apply to fences as they apply
to hoardings.
