Maybank was founded on 31 May 1960. The bank
was formed and founded by Malaysia business
tycoon Khoo Teck Puat and Oei Tjong Le, son of
Chinese-Indonesian Conglomerate Oei Thiong

Amirsham Abdul Aziz from 2002 until March 2008
after April 2009.
