candles burn, tears run dry
heart turns cold, memories run wild
mind turns dazed, pleads the brain to stay awake…
mistakes for a nightmare, hoping it to be over when the morning breaks
 
those fairy moments, those curious trimesters
when all that a mother longs for, is her baby's gentle touch
those moments of growing up, those holding hands and rediscovering the world
all seems part of one big conspired delusion, when Her child sleeps numb
 
no it wasn't time, or was She short of it!
immaterial to the form or shape justice accrues, will always rest unanswered
the causal will be addressed, the mobs dispersed
but a mother's soul plunged into eternal vacuum, will never ever dare to float along
 
if not for humanity, not for the fear of God
respect the womb, 'coz it contained you well to see the beautiful dawn.
