บอกเล่ำ เพ่ือใหป้ ระโยคนั้นกลำยเปน็
ประโยคคำถำมหรอื เพอ่ื ให้ผ้ฟู งั ได้มีโอกำส
แสดงควำมคิดเห็น ซ่ึง QUESTION TAGS
นจี้ ะใช้ในภำษำพูดเท่ำนนั้

**ถ้าประโยคหลักเป็นประโยคบอกเลา่
(Affirmative Sentence) สว่ นของ จะต้อง
เปน็ ประโยคปฏิเสธ (Negative Sentence)**

What does Question tags mean ?

: A question tags is a short question at the

end of a sentence which is used to check
information, ask for confirmation

( )(negativetag) or agreement positive tag

หลักกำรใช้
1. ประโยคบอกเลำ่ ทมี่ ีกริยำช่วย ( to be,

V. to have, V. to do, will, would, shall)

ให้ใชก้ รยิ ำชว่ ยเหล่ำนน้ั มำทำเปน็
Question tags ไดเ้ ลย เชน่

- Jack is from Spain, isn’t he?

- You can speak English, can’t you?

2. ถำ้ ประโยคหลกั อยู่ในรปู ของ present
simple (รูปประโยค ประธำน + กริยำชอ่ ง 1)
ให้ใช้do, does เข้ำมำช่วยในกำรสรำ้ งส่วน
ของ Tag เช่น

- She loves shopping, doesn’t she?

- They have a lot of friends, don’t they?

(have ในประโยคไม่ไดท้ ำหน้ำทเี่ ป็นกรยิ ำ
ชว่ ยแต่ทำหน้ำที่เป็นกริยำแท้แปลวำ่ มี)
3. ถำ้ ประโยคหลักอยูใ่ นรูปของ past simple
(รูปประโยค ประธำน + กริยำชอ่ ง 2) ใหใ้ ช้
did เข้ำมำชว่ ยในกำรสรำ้ งสว่ นของ Tag เชน่

- You killed her, didn’t you?

- He ate the banana, didn’t he

4. ถ้ำประโยคหลักใช้I’m สว่ นของ Tag ตอ้ งใช้aren’t
I? แต่ถ้ำประโยคหลักใช้I’m not สว่ นของTag ต้องใช้ am I?
เชน่

- I am attractive, aren’t I?
- I am not the last one, am I?

5. ถำ้ ประโยคที่มTี his is, That is อยใู่ นประโยคหลกั
ส่วนของ Tag จะต้องใชเ้ ปน็ Isn’t it? หรอื Is it? (ขน้ึ อยู่
วำ่ ประโยคหลกั อยูใ่ นรูปบอกเล่ำหรือปฏิเสธ) เชน่

- This is my friend, isn’t it?
- That is a book , isn’t it ?

6. ถำ้ ประโยคท่มี ีThese are, Those are อยู่ใน
ประโยคหลกั สว่ นของ Tag จะต้องใชเ้ ป็น
aren’t they? หรือ are they? (ข้ึนอยวู่ ่ำประโยค
หลักอย่ใู นรูปบอกเลำ่ หรอื ปฏิเสธ) เช่น

- These are pens, aren’t they?

- Those are not your shoes, are they?

7. ถำ้ ประโยคหลักเป็นประโยคคำสง่ั (แตไ่ ม่ใช่ใน
เชิงปฏิเสธหรือประโยคคำส่ังทไ่ี ม่มี not) สว่ นของ
Tag จะเปน็ will you? หรอื won’t you? ก็ได้เชน่

- Stop daydreaming, will / won’t you?
- Be quiet, will / won’t you

8. ถ้ำประโยคหลักเป็นประโยคคำสัง่ (ในเชิงปฏเิ สธ
หรือประโยคคำสั่งทม่ี ี not) ส่วนของTag จะเปน็ ต้องเป็น
will you? เช่น

- Don’t stop running, will you?

***อำจจำไปเลยก็ไดว้ ่ำถำ้ ประโยคหลกั เปน็ ประโยค
คำส่ังส่วนของ Tag จะเป็น will you? ***

9. ถำ้ ประโยคหลกั มLี et’s (Let us) ส่วนของTag
จะต้องเป็น shall? กำรตอบคำถำมประโยค
Question tag กำรตอบคำถำมของประโยค
Question tag นั้นเรำจะใช้Yes และ No เข้ำมำชว่ ย
ในกำรตอบคำถำม
