INTRODUCTION

The film is set against the backdrop of
ancient times where at that time, the journey
to Mecca still used the waterway by boat for

In conclusion, the movie "Butak" tells a lot about the traditional
culture, beliefs, and traditions of the people in Malaysia,
especially in Batu Kurau, Perak and Pulau Pinang. This diversity
of cultures and beliefs symbolizes Malaysia as a country with
strong unity. Culture in Malaysia is very diverse in terms of
intangibility and tangibility. As a landscape architects, we need
to contribute to the harmony of culture and tradition by studying
the culture of each race in Malaysia and apply in each space
design to be proposed.
