Food Bank
For the past four years, the Wake Forest - Rolesville (NC) Alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi
Fraternity, Inc has partnered with New Bethel Baptist Church to assist with their monthly food
bank. This food is distributed to families in need from wake county. The chapter has always
assisted with the food distribution, the Saturday prior the Thanksgiving holiday. This timing
makes it possible for families to gather and decrease the stress of purchasing a Thanksgiving
meal. Our Kappa leaguers are also an integral part of this community service event. In recent
years we have had a minimum of 15 brothers and 5 Kappa leaguers volunteering. We look
forward to continuing this effort in the future and partnering with other organizations to fight
hunger in Wake county.
