RELAY RACE

• Instructions: Divide players into 2 teams. Each set of players are going to run
down to the court and back to their team. The first team of players that finish
first are the winners.

• Objective: To be the first team to finish the race.
• Equipment: None
• Space Required: Open area.
• Time Required: None

HIDE AND SEEK

• Instructions: Gather all players and choose somebody to be IT. The person
that’s IT counts to 25 with their eyes closed at the base while the other
players run and hide. After the “IT” person counts to 25 they will go and look
for the other players. If the IT person catches a player that player is out until
all players are caught or have gotten to base. The last person that the
person catches is next to be IT.

• Objective: To get to the base before caught
• Equipment: Anything for a Base
• Space Required: Open Space.
• Time Required: None

FREEZE TAG

• Instructions: Have one player to be IT and have all other players scattered
around. The person that is IT has to try and tag all of the other players. If a
person id tag that person is frozen. The person that is IT has to freeze the
other players.

• Objective: To be the last person tag (unfrozen).
• Equipment: None
• Space Required: Open Space
• Time Required: None

DODGE BALL

• Instructions: Have one player to toss the ball. All other players line up in a
straight line. The player will toss the ball at players to get them out. Players
are to avoid getting hit by the ball. When a person is hit by the ball that
person is out. The player must continue to get players out until there is only
one left. The last person standing will be the winner and the new thrower.

• Objective: To be the last person to get out.
• Equipment: Any Soft Ball
• Space Requirement: Open Space
• Time Required: None

LEAP FROG

• Instructions: Divide players into two teams. The first player crouch down on
their hands and knees. The second player will run and leap over the first
player like a frog. The next player will leap over the next two so on and so
forth until the first team make it to the finish line.

• Objective: To be the first team to the finish line.
• Equipment: None
• Space Required: Open Space
• Time Required: None

HOT POTATO

• Gather players around in a circle. Have players toss beanbag (potato) to
each other counting Hot Potato 1 Hot Potato 2 so on until they get to Hot
Potato 10. The person with the beanbag when the last Hot Potato is counted
is out and has to go in the middle of the circle. The last person in the middle
is the winner.

• Objective: Be the last player to be in the middle.
• Equipment: Beanbag
• Space Required: Clear Area
• Time Required: None

FOUR CORNERS

• Instructions: Set one person to be the IT person. Players will run to 1 of the 4
hula hoops placed on the floor. Each hula hoop is counted one corner. The
IT person will close their eyes and choose a corner between 1 and 4. The
players that’s in the corner that’s called is out.

• Objective: To be the last player in the game.
• Equipment: Hula Hoops
• Space Required: Clear Area
• Time Required: None

KICKBALL

• Instructions: Divide players into two teams. One team is going to kick first.
One team will roll first. The team that’s kicking objective is to kick the ball to
where they can get as many points as possible. The team that’s rolling
objective is to get the kicking team’s players out before they score. The
team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

• Objective: To beat the other team by having the most points.
• Equipment: Kickball and Cones (whatever you can use for a base)
• Space Required: Open Field
• Time Required: None

MUSICAL CHAIRS

• Instructions: Set chairs in a circle. Play music and have players walk around
the chairs until the music stops. When the music stops each player must hurry
and sit in a chair. The person who is still standing out. Remove another chair
and continue to play until one player is left.

• Objective: Be the last player left.
• Equipment: Chairs
• Space Required: Open area
• Time Required: None

SIMON SAYS

• Instructions: Have one player be Simon. Simon will command players to do
different movements. If Simon doesn’t say Simon says and the player does
that movement that player will be out. The last person in the game is the
winner and the new Simon.

• Objective: Be the last player in the game with Simon.
• Equipment: None
• Space Required: Open Space
• Time Required: None

AROUND THE WORLD

• Instructions: Place cones around the shooting perimeter of the basketball
goal. Have the first player shoot. If the player makes the shot he/she moves
to the next spot and shoots there. If the player misses the shot he/she
rebounds the ball and passes it to the next person in line and goes to the
end of the line.

• Objective: Be the first player to make all shots around the perimeter of the
basket.

• Equipment: Basketball
• Space Required: Basketball Court
• Time Required: None

FLAG FOOTBALL

• Instructions: Divide players equally into two teams. One team will have a
chance to make a touchdown within 4 turns when they have possession of
the ball. The other team must try and stop the opposing team from making
any touchdowns. The team with the most points win the game.

• Objective: To be the team with the most points.
• Equipment: Football, Flag belts
• Space Required: Football Field
• Time Required: 10-25 minutes
