others will cruise to far-away destinations over multiple days! We want to
help you find the ride that is best for you, or introduce you to other styles of
riding!

Ohio offers terrain from flat to hilly. The style of road changes from long
straight roads, to sweeping turns or twisty backroads. From the farm fields
of Northwest Ohio, to the Allegheny foothills, from rolling hills in scenic
Southwestern Ohio, to the rides past waterfalls and bridges of Northeast,
there are roads for every type of rider! Let us help you discover new roads

Tuscarawas County -113 Miles

A beautiful drive along the shores of Tappan Lake and past small farms
tucked in valleys between forested hills is the perfect excuse for a short trip
around Tuscarawas County. This is still part of Ohio's rustic Amish Country.
Warnings: Be alert for horse-drawn buggies and bicycles while traveling
these roads.

Suggested Stops: Warther Museum’s This place has everything from a
presidential cane to carvings of steam locomotives.
It's a MAD World: Ah, the Amish...our heads are filled with images of
women in bonnets and men in tall hats riding along rural dirt roads in horse-
drawn buggies, this group is misunderstood, partly because they choose to
live a sheltered life away from the mainstream of society.

Amish Country - 143 Miles

Move over, Pennsylvania: Ohio has the largest Amish population in the
United States. German followers of Mennon Simons split into two sects
during the 17th century; the Amish and the Mennonites came to America to
follow their beliefs in living the simple life. Beautiful farms and their famous
horse-drawn buggies are sights that typify these settlements. There are
several communities to be found along the roadways of this tour, but only
for those who don't mind gravel roads.
Warnings: Be alert for horse-drawn buggies and bicycles while traveling
these roads.

Woodlands and Farms - 157 Miles

This loop reintroduces the concept of woodlands to the Ohio landscape.
Still, these are dwarfed by the vast expanse of idyllic farmland that is the
prominent feature of this region’s landscape.

Suggested Stops: Boundless woodlands comprise the extensive Mohican
State Park near Loudonville, OH. Hike down into Clearfork Gorge, where
stately hemlocks provide aegis from the sun as they gracefully lean over the
serene Mohican River. Try the V & M Family Restaurant in Bellville, OH. If
you plan accordingly, the Friday Night Fish Fry is a must. Finish it off with a
slice of some mighty tasty pie. There are a number of antique shops nearby,
if you're into that sort of thing.

Somerset & Buckeye Lake - Loop 129 Miles

Start just south of Buckeye lake. You’ll loop through the Somerset round-
about twice on this tour! But in between those visits are some of the best
motorcycle roads that you will find!

The Big Muskie - 74 Miles (1-way from East)

"Big Muskie" was once the World's Largest Earth Moving Machine. What
remains today is a monstrous metal bucket, vaguely resembling a robot dog
head. The bucket sits on a rise, overlooking the beautiful valley that it once
mined and destroyed, which has been renamed "Re-Creation Land."

Warthers Museum and Gardens 92 Miles (1-way from North)

Ernest "Mooney" Warther was born on October 30th, 1885 in Dover, Ohio.
He found a pocket knife while working as a cow-hand and that changed his
life! Ernest started carving. As a teenager, he discovered locomotives,
combined his carving hobby with his engineering spirit, and the rest is
history! Witness the magnificent hand-carved creations at this museum! You
will be astounded in the detail of these marvels! Plus you’ll enjoy the
beautiful gardens on the campus.

Serpent Mound Ancient Earthwork - 121 miles

Ride to the Serpent Mound! It's an effigy mound built out of land in the
shape of a twisting snake, and much of its origin is shrouded in mystery. But
the roads to get there are no mystery! They are pure scenic enjoyment!
RIDE HINT: The Summer Solstice Celebration is an awesome time to visit
this place!

Ride Challenges

In addition to “destinations,” there are also many other types of rides that add an element of
challenge for motorcycle riders. These include The Scavenger Run, Iron Butt Challenge, Sun
Up to Down Ride, ABC Ride, and many others.
Some are “rides” while others are “Challenges” to motorcycle Riders. Many of these are done
in groups but all can be done solo. Being safe is a given, so with that in mind, we like to
challenge riders to HAVE FUN! Here are a few of the most popular challenge motorcycle rides
and challenges in Ohio:

Iron Butt Challenge - *****
Simply put, it is a rider completing 1000 miles in less than 24 hours. It’s not a RACE, but more
about endurance.

ABC Challenge - *****
Ohio is one of the very few states that you can complete this challenge! Find a city starting with
the letter “A” and photograph yourself in that city, preferably by a sign with the city name, but
SAFETY FIRST, a landmark will do! Then do the same with the letter “B” and then “C” and so
on! Since we have cities starting with “Q” and “X” and “Z” then you can understand why you
can complete this challenge within our borders!

Under 55 - *
Five riders go 55 miles under 55º - This sounds easy, but finding that many riders to endure
cooler temperatures is sometimes a challenge! But if ANY rider can do this one, it is OHIO
riders!

Sun Up-to-Down - ***
Yep, it is just what it says, ride from sun up, to sundown. Photo at sunrise, and one as sunset
with different locations, same day.

Scavenger Hunt - ***
We have our “organized” Scavenger Hunt, where we will provide the list of items required
along with the potential prizes. We post the list of items at the store, with a completion date,
and you register (scan a QR code) to become a contestant. When completed, you return to the
store to submit your entry to be eligible for the prizes. Prizes are awarded on accuracy,
creativity and completion of all tasks.

“Likes & Shares” *
This has to be the easiest challenge! Visit places and take photos. Share them on a Facebook
or Instagram and TAG Farrow HD. The person with the most “Likes” or “Shares” on that
particular platform will be the winner! We make sure that we balance the contestants and not
pitting them against social media influencers, by creating different categories of amount of
Fans and Followers.

Poker Run **
Visit 5 predetermined locations, with an approved deck of cards, and draw a card at each. The
rider with the best hand upon returning wins!
