ความเป็็นมาของโครงการ บ้้านคุ้้งกร่่าง / 04 ความเป็็นมา ของโครงการ กรมการพััฒนาชุุมชน มีีภารกิิจในการส่่งเสริิมกระบวนการเรีียนรู้้� และการมีีส่่วนร่่วมของประชาชน เสริิมสร้้างความเข้้มแข็็งของชุุมชน ให้้สามารถบริิหารจััดการและพึ่่�งตนเองได้้อย่่างยั่่�งยืืน และการส่่งเสริิม และยกระดัับเศรษฐกิิจฐานรากให้้มีีความมั่่�นคง ด้้วยการดำำเนิินงานโครงการ หนึ่่�งตำำบล หนึ่่�งผลิิตภััณฑ์์ (OTOP) มาตั้้�งแต่่ปีี2544 (22 ปีี) โดยการ นำำทรััพยากรในชุุมชนและภููมิิปััญญาท้้องถิ่่�นมาพััฒนาเป็็นผลิิตภััณฑ์์ เป็็นการสร้้างงาน สร้้างอาชีีพ สร้้างรายได้้แก่่ประชาชนในชุุมชน และดำำเนิินงานหมู่่บ้้าน OTOP เพื่่�อการท่่องเที่่�ยว ชุุมชนท่่องเที่่�ยวนวััตวิิถีี รวม 3,680 หมู่่บ้้าน/ชุุมชน ควบคู่่กัับการดำำเนิินงานโครงการหนึ่่�งตำำบล หนึ่่�งผลิิตภััณฑ์์ เพื่่�อให้้การท่่องเที่่�ยวในหมู่่บ้้าน/ชุุมชน เป็็นเครื่่�องมืือ ในการสร้้างงาน สร้้างรายได้้ให้้กัับชุุมชน การดำำเนิินงานชุุมชนท่่องเที่่�ยวนวััตวิิถีีเป็็นการดึึงเสน่่ห์์ของชุุมชน ภููมิิปััญญาท้้องถิ่่�น วััฒนธรรม ประเพณีีอาหาร และวิิถีีชีีวิิต มาเป็็นต้้นทุุน พร้้อมกัับการส่่งเสริิมแล ะพััฒนาหมู่่บ้้านให้้มีีความพร้้อมเพื่่�อรองรัับ นัักท่่องเที่่�ยว ทั้้�งด้้านการบริิการผ่่านโปรแกรมการท่่องเที่่�ยวที่่�หลากหลาย เชื่่�อมโยงการท่่องเที่่�ยวกระแสหลัักที่่�เป็็นแอ่่งใหญ่่ได้้สััมผััสเสน่่ห์์ของหมู่่บ้้าน ที่่�เป็็นแอ่่งเล็็ก และกระตุ้้�นการพััฒนายกระดัับผลิิตภััณฑ์์ OTOP เพื่่�อดึึง นัักท่่องเที่่�ยวเข้้าไปเที่่�ยวในชุุมชน พร้้อมกัับเลืือกซื้้�อผลิิตภััณฑ์์OTOP ในชุุมชน การดำำเนิินงานชุุมชนท่่องเที่่�ยวOTOP นวััตวิถีิ ีในปี พี.ศ. 2566 ดำำเนิินการ ใน 50 หมู่่บ้้าน/ชุุมชน โดยการเพิ่่�มศัักยภาพผู้้�นำำชุุมชนและสนัับสนุุนกลไก การมีีส่่วนร่่วมของคนในชุุมชน ให้้มีีความพร้้อมในการรองรัับการเปิิดตลาด การท่่องเที่่�ยว ด้้วยการส่่งเสริิมกิิจกรรมการท่่องเที่่�ยวและพััฒนาเส้้นทาง การท่่องเที่่�ยวที่่ห�ลากหลาย ให้ตรง้กัับความต้้องการของชุุมชนและตอบสนอง ความต้้องการของนัักท่่องเที่่�ยว โดยที่่�ยัังคงให้้ความสำำคััญกัับอััตลัักษณ์์ วิิถีีชีีวิิตและภููมิิปััญญาดั้้�งเดิิมของชุุมชนไว้้ ซึ่่�งจะทำำ ให้้เกิิดการจัับจ่่ายใช้้สอย มีีเงิินหมุุนเวีียนในชุุมชน เป็็นการกระตุ้้�นเศรษฐกิิจฐานรากได้้อย่่างมั่่�นคง เพื่่�อท้้ายที่่�สุุดจะเป็็นการช่่วยกระตุ้้�นเศรษฐกิิจในระดัับประเทศให้้มั่่�นคง มั่่�งคั่่�งต่่อไป

The members of this community mostly rely on agriculture and farming, with coconuts being the main economic crop. The members of this community mainly practice agriculture as their main occupation. The key economic crop of the community is an aromatic coconut. Chachoengsao, also known as Mueang Paet Rio, was formerly under the occupation of the Khmer Empire and has been nourished by the Bang Pakong River, a major lifeline for its people. Mueang Paet Rio covers a total area of 3,344,375 rai, with majority of its residents engaged in agriculture, particularly rice farming, and the cultivation of Barracuda Mangoes, which are renowned agricultural products of the area. In terms of tourism, Chachoengsao is home to several beautiful temples, including Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan, a prominent temple of the Chachoengsao. It was constructed in the late Ayutthaya period and has been worshiped as sacred sites until now. Another populartourist attraction is Koh Nok, a tourist attraction with rich mangrove forest conservation area where visitors can learn and experience the nature. There is also a natural trail full of bird species and a chance to see Irrawaddy dolphins and albino dolphins in this area as well. In addition,there is the 100-year-old Klong SuanOld Market,which is a market known for retro products, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the past. This market has a wide variety of local delicacies available. As for accommodation, numerous options catering to various preferences and styles are available along the riverside in Bang Pakong. How to get there By Car Travelling from Bangkok to Chachoengsao covers a distance of 150 kilometers and there are two routes available as follows: • Route 1 From Bangkok, take National Highway No.7 (Bangkok-Chonburi Road) to Chonburi, then turn into National Highway No.314 (Siri Sothon Road) until reaching Chachoengsao. • Route 2 From Bangkok, take National Highway No.3 (Sukhumvit Road) to Chonburi, then turn into National Highway No.314 (Siri Sothon Road) until reaching Chachoengsao. By Public Buses • Travelling from Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) to Chachoengsao Bus Terminal. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. By Train • Travelling from the Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station to the Chachoengsao railway station takes approximately 1 hour and 11 minutes. Project Background Baan Kung Krang / 04 The Community Development Department has a mission to promote learning processes and the participation of the public, to strengthen the community’s ability to be able to manage and achieve self-sufficiency in the long term. Additionally, there has been an effort to promote and improve the local economy by implementing the “One Tambon One Product” (OTOP) project since 2001. This involves utilizing community resources and localwisdom to develop products, create jobs, and generate income for the community. The OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community project also aims to contribute to community tourism, covering a total of 3,680 communities, in conjunction with the One Tambon One Product project. This serves as a tool for job creation and income generation for the community. The OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community operations focus on showcasing the charm of the communities, local wisdom, culture, tradition, food, and lifestyle. Simultaneously, efforts are made to promote and develop communities to welcome tourists, offering diverse tour programs that connect mainstream tourism to the unique charm of smaller communities. The development also involves elevating the OTOP product standard to attract tourists and encouraging the purchase of OTOP products within the community. In the year 2023, the OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community initiative was implemented in 50 communities, aiming to enhance the potential of community leaders and support community participation mechanisms, preparing communities to enter the tourism market. This includes promoting tourism activities and developing diverse tourism routes that align with community needs and meetthe preferences oftourists. The focus remains on preserving the lifestyle and original wisdom of the community, ensuring a circulation of funds within the community and fostering a stable local economy, ultimately contributing to the overall economic stability of the country. This includes having members design activities that reflect the identities of the community, such as cultural heritage and traditional customs. Another main goal of this project is to increase the quality of products and services to meet satisfactory standards and provide impressive experiences to tourists. With that objective, the OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community initiative is designed to enhance tourism management skills among community members. The efforts are intended to increase the income ofindividualswithin the community, leading to an improved quality of life and happiness among the residents. This, in turn, will contribute to the stability of the grassroots economy, impacting the overall economic stability of the country.
