Message from the CEO ผู้อํานวยการสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับแห่งชาติ สารจาก นายสุเมธ ประสงค์พงษ์ชัย สถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) ได้จัดโครงการประกวดออกแบบเครื่องประดับ เพื่อเป็นเวทีและสร้างโอกาสให้กับนักออกแบบ และบุคคลทั่วไปที่มีใจรักในการออกแบบจากทั่วโลก ได้มีโอกาสแสดงศักยภาพด้านการออกแบบ ร่วมส่งผลงานจากความคิดสร้างสรรค์เข้าร่วมประกวดกับสถาบัน โดยได้ดำเนินการต่อเนื่องมา เป็นปีที่ 17 แล้ว ซึ่งถือได้ว่า GIT’s World Jewelry Design Awards เป็นอีกหนึ่งโครงการ สำคัญของ GIT ที่มุ่งสร้างนักออกแบบหน้าใหม่ให้เป็นที่รู้จักในระดับสากล The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization) has organized a jewelry design competition as a platform and opportunity for designers and enthusiasts all around the world to showcase their creativity and potential. The institute has been consistently conducting this competition for 17 years now. The GIT's World Jewelry Design Awards is considered a significant project of GIT, aiming to elevate emerging designers to international recognition. For this year, the competition theme is "Glitter & Gold – The Brilliant Way of Gold Shine." The jewelry pieces are inspired by the radiant allure of gold and the dazzling charm of various types of gemstones, seamlessly combined to form exquisite and harmonious creations. Our intention is to encourage designers to blend the timeless luster of gold with precious gems, crafting pieces that emphasize beauty, feasibility in production, and distinctiveness when worn. In this year's edition, we have the honor of hosting a panel of expert judges from various global domains who will undoubtedly evaluate the submissions. We are confident that we will witness jewelry pieces capable of inspiring everyone without a doubt. I sincerely hope that this jewelry design competition will serve as a significant force in propelling Thailand towards becoming a global hub for the gem and jewelry trade.
