Maxwell, senior pastor of the Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego, California, embarked on two separate capital campaigns for campus relocation. He partnered with an organization that could raise funds, but they seemed unable to develop a culture of generosity. As a result, Dr. Maxwell founded INJOY Stewardship Services in 1992. In 2011, Joseph Sangl purchased the organization and became its President and CEO, carrying on Dr. Maxwell’s legacy. Now known as INJOY Stewardship Solutions, its suite of solutions has been expanded to include personal finance, planned giving, online giving, and helping churches implement the necessary systems to increase weekly giving.
