Farmers in Canada, like many of the farmers we work with overseas,
must adapt to the effects of climate change. They must protect them-
selves from the risks of an unstable climate and an uncertain future.
And, like farmers overseas, the farmers we work with do not always have
easy access to the seeds they need to build their adaptive capacity and
resilience towards climate change.
USC Canada wants to launch Seeds of Survival in Canada to revive and
rebuild Canada’s seed saving and seed breeding programs from the
ground up.
And we need your help to do that. Ask us about how you can support
the transition to a more sustainable and just agricultural sector.
