Often times we quillers are on the go with our quilling supplies in tow. When we get together for mini-meets,
it is extremely helpful having a travel size pack of moist towelettes! Especially for those of us who use needle

Quilling Instructions – Single Flower in Pot on Business Card Magnet
Supplies Needed:
Business Card Magnet
Card Stock in desired color cut to size of magnet
Punched flowers for corner decorations
Scissors or Fringer
Ruler, Quilling Tool and Glue
Paper Needed:
1/8” Yellow – 5 pieces, 3” lengths
1/8” Orange – 5 pieces, 5” lengths
1/8” Red – 5 pieces, 6” lengths
1/8” Dark Green – 2 pieces, 6” lengths
1 piece for stem
1/8” Brown – 3 pieces, 8” lengths
1/8” or ¼” Orange – 1 piece, 6” length
Flower Petals: Glue end to end one piece of yellow, one piece
of orange, and one piece of red. Repeat until you have 5
strips. Quill each strip entirely beginning with the yellow end.
Let the coils open up. Glue the ends to make a loose coil.
Pinch to make a teardrop shape. The yellow center will move
up into the large end of the teardrop. Pull the yellow center
back down to the tip of the teardrop and glue into place to
make an off center teardrop. Repeat to make five petals and
let dry.
Fringed Flower Center: Fringe the 6” piece of orange paper
either with scissors or a fringing tool. The picture is done with
scissors and 1/8” paper. Roll into a tight coil and glue.
Separate fringed petals with fingertips to make the flower center.
Flowerpot: Roll the three brown shapes into loose coils and glue the ends. Form into triangles. Glue together
as shown.
Leaves: Roll the two 6” lengths of green into loose coils. Glue and pinch into a marquise shape.
Assembly: Glue flower petals together at their points. Glue fringed center to the point where the flower petals
meet. Take a small length (about 1”- 1 ½”) of green 1/8” paper to be used for the stem. Turn stem on its
side and glue in between two of the flower petals. Glue flowerpot to bottom of stem. Arrange a leaf on either
side of the stem and glue into place. Let dry. Note: You may need to adjust the size of the flower stem to fit
the flower so it centers properly onto the card.
While the flower is drying, cut card stock in desired colors to size of business card (2” x 3 ½”). Peel off the
adhesive from the magnet and replace with card stock. Center flower onto magnet and glue into place.
Decorate corners as desired.
