1. ถ้าเปนกรยิ าสาํ คัญในประโยค มคี วามหมายวา่
เปน อยู่ คือ
2. ใชว้ างขา้ งหน้า กล่มุ คํา adjective
( คําคณุ ศัพท์ )
3. ใชเ้ ปนกรยิ าชว่ ยในโครงสรา้ งของประโยค
Continuous ( ประโยคทีมี กรยิ า ing )
4. ใชเ้ ปนกรยิ าชว่ ยในโครงสรา้ งของประโยค
Passive Voice
( ประโยคทีประธานเปนผถู้ กู กระทํา )

หลักการใช้ กับ ประธานในประโยค

1. ถ้าประธานที เปนเอกพจน์บุ รุษที 3
ซึงได้แก่ He She It หรือ ชือคนคน
เ ดี ย ว

สัตว์ตัวเดียว และสิงของอันเดียวที ถูก
กล่าวถึง Verb to be ที ใช้ คือ is
เช่น

*He is a teacher.
*Sam is a singer
*She is in the room.
*My father is sleeping.
*It is a dog.
*The pencil is on the table

2. ถ้าประธานเปนเอกพจนบ์ ุรุษที 1 ( ผพู้ ูดคน
เดียว ) ซงึ ได้แก่ I Verb to be ทีใช้ คือ am

*I am a student.
* I am under the table.

3. ประธานเปนพหพู จนท์ กุ บุรุษ ซงึ ได้แก่ We
You They หรอื ชอื คนหลาย สตั วห์ ลายตัว
และสงิ ของหลายอันทีถกู กล่าวถึง Verb to be
ทีใช้ คือ are เชน่

*We are nurses.
*My father and I are in the room.
*They are policemen.
*Suda and her friends are under the
tree.
*You are very good.
*The players are in the playground.

เปนประโยคปฏิเสธ.มวี ธิ กี ารดังนี

เติม not ลงไปในตําแหนง่ ทีเรยี งต่อจาก
Verb to be หลัง is am are เชน่
*He is not in the room.
*I am not a child.
*They are not teachers.
*Suda is not reading.

หมายเหตุ รูปยอ่ ของ ปฏิเสธ Verb to
be คือ is not ยอ่ เปน isn’t am not
จะไมใ่ ชร้ ูปยอ่ are not ยอ่ เปน aren’t
