game or by a team or an individual.

Situation-a set of circumstances in which one finds oneself; a
state of affairs.

Descriptive Paragraph

This paragraph is descriptive in basketball. To start off
when you start the game there are 5 people that come out
and play they are called the starting 5. Then they do
something called a jump ball. That's when the ref tosses
the ball in the air see who gets it. Now we will go to how to
get points. There is a three point line and if you get in
beyond that that's three points. Inside the three-point line
is 2 points and there are free throws that are 1 point.
There is also halftime. At the end of the game, you shake
hand and go home.

Sequence

This paragraph is about basketball in sequence form.
First, you do a jump ball to see who gets the ball. The
tallest person should do the jumping. Second, whichever
team that gets the ball they try to score if they lose the ball
they play defense. Third, at h alftime, you take a break of
playing. Fourth, the teams go back out there and play.
Finally, the teams stop playing and see who wins. That is
the sequence in basketball.

Compare/Contrast

There are multiple things you could compare and
contrast with basketball. But in this paragraph, I'm gonna
compare and contrast basketball and baseball. First, both
sports use one ball. The basketball is bigger than the
baseball though. In basketball, you have to shoot the ball
and prevent the team to score one defense. In baseball,
you have hit the ball get on base and score and prevent
the other teams to get people on base and score. In
basketball, you don't use anything on your hands but in
baseball, you use a glove and bat. Basketball and
baseball compare and contrast.

Cause and Effect

This section is gonna be about cause and effect in

basketball. In basketball, there could be a lot of situations
that cause in effect come into play. Like if you lose the ball
and the other team gets the ball scores. If the other team
gets the ball and they score that cause and effect. The team
could be ahead and the other team loses. The team could be
down and the other team wins. It could be a different
situation. That is cause and effect in basketball.

Problem/Solution

You can use Problem and Solution in different
situations. The one situation I’m gonna talk about in this
paragraph is about basketball. So there could be different
times that problem and solution comes into action in
basketball. One is that if your down by 5 and there is 30
seconds left on the clock organize the defense or offense
and just keep trying. If you let up the ball and your coach
is mad at you just go back out there and keep trying and
don't give up. When you go back out there just play some
defense and get the ball back and score. That's only some
situations in basketball that you would use problem and
solution. That's was my paragraph of problem and solution
in basketball.

Autobiography

This is the last paragraph of this book. This is gonna be
about me. My name is Michael George Thalassinos. So I play
baseball and basketball. I played flag football for one year.
I'm on a baseball travel team. I have a twin brother named
Niko. I go to East Pennsboro Middle school. My Mom’s name
is Joey and my dad’s name is George. That's pretty much it.
