Daily report of social services done in Mohali district,

dated 20/05/21

On 20 May, 10 messages were received for social services in the Mohali
district. 9 of them were successfully contacted and an attempt was made to
solve their problems. Oxygen cylinders were provided to a family in the
Baltana area of Zirakpur. More than 40 persons from around 20 families
were sent for vaccination in various vaccination camps held at Zirakpur,
Panchkula, Chandigarh and Mohali. Apart from this, social media platforms
are being used to send informative messages, to make the public aware of
vaccine and corona rapid / RT-PCR test. Additionally, 132 Corona-infected
people from 38 families were provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner in
Zirakpur city. Similarly, food was provided to 34 people of 12 families at
their homes in Mohali city. In totality, food was distributed to 166 members
of 50 families throughout the Mohali district. And same as before, a public
awareness campaign was carried out by volunteers in the sewa bastiyaan
for safety precautions from the Coronavirus pandemic and to get
vaccinated.

Punjab is piloting a new drug delivery system, in which
a medicine delivery van is transporting medicines to
351 Ayushman Health and Wellness Centres of 4 districts.

Awareness is the key to be safe from Coronavirus.

It is very important to spread awareness
among people during this pandemic. Only by
being aware, people can follow all safety
precautions and avoid the virus. The
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (Sewa
Vibhag) is working hard to aware people of
the vaccine and safety precautions.
Swayamsewaks of Nagar Jaito, District
Faridkot distributed immunity booster kadha to residents at various
places. The swayamsewaks gave kadha to around 300 people and made
them aware of the pandemic.

Pragati Welfare Society and Health for All Society,
district Faridkot, distributed 20 ration kits to T.B. patients.

Van service launched for residents at Thedi Village
COVID Care Center.

The van was served to Malot Nagar by
Dr SP Singh Oberoi, Chairman of
'Sarbat da Bhala Charitable Trust', with
the continuous efforts of the members
of Sewa Toli and Jai Ma Anguri Devi
Samaj Sevi Sanstha of District Sri
Muktsar Sahib. The Government
COVID Care Center of Malot Nagar has been built in Thedi village, six
kilometres outside the city. Due to the increasing outbreak of Coronavirus
cases, the 24 * 7 service will provide great relief to the common people. A
service helpline number has also been issued by the organization.

Ayush-64. Yesterday, Sewa Bharti
trained the Swayamsewaks
about the medicine.

Muktsar Sahib, on May 21

In Gidderbaha Nagar, a group of volunteers
fed the kadha to the passers-by and made
them aware of the Coronavirus. The
volunteers of Shri Krishna Seva Dal sanitize
the main post office in Malout Nagar. The
swayamsewaks of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in
Muktsar Sahib Nagar distributed free
homoeopathic immunity booster medicines
in the State Bank of India. Members of Bhagat
Puran Singh Sanskar Kendra, Malot distributed homoeopathic immunity
booster medicines in the streets of Mahavir Nagar.

On May 21, 100 people were vaccinated at the Krishna
Temple Vaccination Center, run with the help of Sewa
Bharti, Gurdaspur.

On the evening of 21 May, Market, Civil Hospital, All
Banks, ATMs, Municipal Office, Power House, Police
Station, Durbar Shama Shah Ji, Tehsil Office and Slum
Areas were sanitized by Sewa Bharti Hoshiarpur
in Chaurasi.

More than 3000 immunity boosters have been

distributed by Sewa Hi Sangathan.

For the purpose of "Sewa Hi Sangathan", many
services are being run by BJP Chandigarh.
Nearly three thousand immunity boosters have
been distributed, which include Giloy, Basasuta
and other Ayurvedic herbs. Demand for these
boosters is increasing, so on May 21,
Swayamsewaks distributed around 175 packets
of immunity boosters in Sector 56 and also
made people aware to increase their immunity.
It is told that Ayurveda Acharyas believe that if
they make and drink the kadha of these herbs,
then to a great extent, diseases can be prevented.
Pradesh Adhyaksh Arun Sood said that immunity boosters should reach as
many people as possible and more and more people should benefit from it.
For this, the duty of workers will be imposed at the district level and efforts
will be made to bring these ayurvedic herbs to every household.
