Greenway Forest

It was a sunny day with warm weather and the scent of
blooming flowers. Payton and Chloe were playing dress up in
their Halloween costumes. Payton was dressed up as Bigfoot,
and Chloe was dressed as a chicken. They went to play outside.

Payton asked Chloe “Do you want to go on a bike ride?”
“Sure!” said Chloe!

They hopped onto their bikes and rolled away. Payton was
zooming; she was a lot faster than Chloe on the bike. Payton
took a left turn, and Chloe didn’t even realize, nor did she see
Payton had turned the corner. However Chloe knew what
Payton was up to…

Chloe biked back to the house and unlocked the front door.
She ran to her room to put on a brand new scary costume.

Chloe ran back out and grabbed her bike to go back to the
woods. Chloe had even taken the chicken costume back to the
woods with her and set it down where she last saw Payton.

As soon as Payton turned the corner, she hopped into a
bush nearby and waited for Chloe (the chicken) to arrive
around the corner. Payton was planning her attack on the
chicken! She had waited so long to do this…

Payton was waiting for what felt like five hours now! It was
starting to become dark and gloomy with fog strolling in.

It was pitch black outside, but thankfully Payton
had a flashlight just in case. Payton thought she
waited too long and popped out from the bush and
back around the corner to home. Just then she saw
Chloe's costume laying right splat on the dark
sidewalk. Payton didn’t understand what happened to
Chloe. Was she dead? Did she faint? All of these
questions thundering around in her head.

Meanwhile, Chloe's hiding in a separate bush than
Payton was. She had a great eye on the chicken costume
laying on the sidewalk lifeless. Chloe could see a faint
flashlight turn the corner and realized it must be Payton.

Payton stayed still watching, looking at the lifeless,
looking chicken costume. When all of a sudden, she heard
coyotes in the distance. She jumped feeling paranoid.

Chloe knew it was time to make her one chance in a
lifetime move. She awoke from the dead-looking bush and
cackled, creeping her way towards Payton.

Meanwhile back at home, Kinsley ( the mom ) was home
looking for her children, they were nowhere to be found, and
she looked everywhere. She looked in the house and even
outside she wondered in curiosity (where my two precious
kids were kidnapped? ) She knew her kids would not runoff.
They were such good kids they were perfect kids but Kinsley
always liked to call them goody-two-shoes. She had prepared
herself for the worst. As soon as she was outside she could
hear crackling and coyotes howling off into the distance. As
soon as she turned her head around she could see light, no
almost like a dim light, she wasn't exactly sure what she was
looking at almost as if it was a ghost lurking around the
corner calling for her. She headed towards the light and into
the woods where she could hear children cackling and
planning a mysterious plan, she thought to herself ( maybe
those voices are Payton and Chloe her sweet and perfect kids.

Chloe walked right behind Payton and scared Payton.
Payton screamed so loud the whole town awoke from their
deep slumber.

Mom went towards the dim flashlight and yelled for her kids.
“CHLOE? PAYTON? WHERE ARE YOU?”

Payton and Chloe heard Mom yell and they knew they should
scare mom and go back to the house to get some sleep for
school tomorrow.

Mom saw the light turn off. She ran to where she last saw
the light. She heard rustling in the bushes nearby and froze in
her tracks when Payton and Chloe hopped out from the bush.

Mom jumped so high she was soaring in the air. Mom was
furious for this darn prank. Mom screamed in anger and slowly
turned into a grizzly bear! Payton and Chloe screamed in horror
and ran away.

Payton and Chloe ran up a tree and sat there for hours. It felt
like they got tired and passed out and fell off of the tree.

Then mom woke up the girls for school, Payton and Chloe
looked around and realized they were in their house, not just
their house but in their room. Everything was normal. It must
have been all a dream Chloe and Payton told each other what
had happened in their dreams that night, they realized they
must of had the same dream as each other.

They were in shock and couldn’t believe nor understand how
they had the same dream. They each agreed on leaving it in the
past and not to ever mention it again.
