Right from childhood, I knew you were someone special. You showed me your unconditional
love and generosity during our stays at Meghprasad. You always made sure I felt at home, and
comfortable.

Shree also feels the same selfless love from you. Shree always mentioned that you never failed
to offer Theplas and Kharipoori , etc to take back to USA.
Most of all, we were all amazed by your fearless spirit which makes you stand stronger and
taller today. We all love you and seek blessings from you.

I would love to pen a few words for one of my favorite persons – Jaikuvri Faiba! One of the best
memories of my childhood are visiting Mumbai – especially going to Meghprasad Bungalow!
The minute we landed in Mumbai, it was Mota Faiba who sent a chauffeured car to pick us up
from Ghatkopar, to stay with them for a few days. Mota Faiba’s heart was like a vast ocean of
love. She spoiled us with bicycle rentals, taking us to NSCI for swimming, buying us
firecrackers, giving us fancy gifts and a whole lot of love. Going to Meghprasad as a kid was like
going to Disneyland!

Jaikuvri Faiba, along with Prabhavati Faiba made our Mumbai vacations an event never to
forget! Even today, at the age of 71 years, I vividly remember my several visits to her bungalow.
Mota Faiba, apart from showering material love, always showed a genuine interest in my future,
gently reminding me to study hard and keep progressing towards my goals, while never
forgetting my parents. Her love for my father and mother was unparalleled!

Even today, every year when I visit Mumbai she prepares snacks for me to take to the USA for
my wife and kids. It is truly remarkable and amazing to see a person at the young age of 100,
who still exudes so much love and confidence. To be so positive and determined in life is a path
for all of us to follow.


She has had such a lasting impact on me that it is a MUST for me to receive her blessings every
time I am in Mumbai!


Happy Birthday Dear Jaikuvri Faiba! I will be in Mumbai , in person, on May 27,2021 to
celebrate completion of your One Hundred Years on this Earth. That’s a promise.
