1. Satu eksperimen telah dijalankan untuk mengkaji kesan keamatan cahaya terhadap kadar
transpirasi pada pucuk bunga raya dengan menggunakan photometer gelembung. Rajah 1
menunjukkan susunan radas yang digunakan untuk mengenalpasti kadar transpirasi pada
keamatan cahaya yang berlainan. Bacaan gelembung udara pada potometer diambil pada
permulaan eksperimen dan sekali lagi selepas 10 minit.
An experiment was carried out to study the effect of light intensity on the rate of transpiration of
hibiscus shoot by using a bubble potometer. Diagram 1 shows the apparatus set-up to determine
the rate of transpiration at different light intensities. Air bubble reading in the potometer was
taken at the beginning of the experiment and once again after 10 minutes.
