Seven Restaurants, Three Bars and
10,000 bottles of wine…

The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is the Maldives’ premier gourmet resort serving
innovative cuisine combined with an exciting wine concept, overseen by the resort’s
resident Sommelier.

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant: Set five metres below the surface with 180-degrees of
panoramic underwater views, Ithaa (meaning ‘pearl’ in the Maldivian language of
Dihevi) serves contemporary Maldivian cuisine in a set menu composed of 23
different dishes over four courses and a Wine Concept dedicated to Champagne.

The Wine Cellar: Two metres underground, the Wine Cellar is the setting for
dégustation dinners hosted by the island’s Sommelier and Executive Chef who match
a five-course gourmet menu to hand-picked wines. Up to 12 guests participate in an
interactive journey to the best of the old and new world wine regions, visually aided
by new individual video screens.

Wine Bar: Home to 101 of the world’s best cheeses selected by the resort’s Maître
de Fromage, this intimate black sand contemporary bar plays host to informal wine
and cheese tastings as well as weekly ‘Wine and Chocolate’ evenings.

The Wine Bar Mandhoo Spa Restaurant Ithaa

Vilu Restaurant: Refurbished in October 2007, the fine-dining restaurant on the
edge of the lagoon is a showcase for the resort’s extensive wine selection, offering A
la carte Euro-Asian fine-dining, via a menu divided into wine types rather than
traditional courses. Each dish is available as a starter or main course.

Vilu Bar: The new look Vilu Bar is an idyllic location for pre-dinner sundowners,
serving over 80 different types of designer Martini Cocktails.

Koko Grill: Japanese style Teppanyaki served from around the grill to a small group
of guests seated at ground-level for the ultimate initimate beach dining experience.

Atoll Market: Eight show kitchens provide a culinary tour of the world under one
roof together with an exciting wine concept that showcases the rising stars of the
wine world and a Sake Bar to complement the Japanese Kitchen.

Rangali Bar: The neighbouring sand-floored Rangali Bar is the resort’s meeting
point, providing contemporary cocktails and regular live music and events.

Mandhoo Spa Restaurant: The over-water restaurant serves well-balanced
organic and bio-dynamic gourmet meals, smoothies and organic wines and beers in
accordance with the Spa Retreat’s Four Elements philosophy.

Sunset Grill: Set on stilts 50m out to sea atop a Coral Reef, the open-air a la carte
restaurant with private dining booths specialises in freshly grilled seafood matched
with sought after boutique wines from around the world.

Alternative Dining: For the ultimate romantic dining experience guests can choose
from romantic desert island picnics for two; dinner on the beach; on the villa deck
under the stars or onboard the resort’s luxury yacht. Beach barbecue dinners with
‘Champagne and Lobster’ or ‘Maldivian’ theme are also held weekly at sunset.

Gastronomic Events: A calendar of gastronomic events hosted by world-leading
food and wine producers and chefs provide guests with the ultimate memorable
dining experience.
