Martial Arts for Kids with Master Shipley Horse Riding & Martial Arts
This program is structured to teach children the
understanding of respect and discipline while learning Horse Riding Lessons
basic Taekwondo. Classes start with a basic warm-up with Regent Arabians
and stretching. Classes are not progressive. Karate
uniforms may be purchased at the school, but are 51
NOT required. Loose-fitting clothing is acceptable.

Little or Big Kids Lead Line Horse Riding
Lessons
Cowboys & cowgirls ages 4+ can learn to ride. With
assistance, learn to walk a horse in-hand, groom,
and ride. Discover the basics of horsemanship and
equitation (the art of riding). All start in Western
saddle, hold two reins, learn “WHOA”, how to steer,
walk and trot (if appropriate) a horse under saddle
while on a lead rope and or lunge line. You may even
ride independently as your skills progress. Horse,
tack, grooming supplies, safety helmet & instructions
are provided. 1 student per instructor for individual
attention and safety. Scheduling is on a first come,
first served basis for available dates. Scheduling

Teen Driver Education
Safeway Driving School is the largest driving school in MN, instructing over 5,500 teens this year alone. It
has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and is a BBB Accredited Business. Their website is
comprehensive and includes a list of tools and calendars to make the process seamless.

Classroom Training
Classes can be taken if you’re 14-1/2 yrs or older and consists of 10, three-hour independent lessons and can be
taken in any order. If a lesson is missed, you can make it up when and where it’s convenient.

Behind-the-Wheel Training
Consists of 3 two-hour private lessons and can be scheduled online with Safeway or by calling Safeway’s office.
Pick-up and drop-off is at home, school or work and is done in a white late-model car with Safeway’s “Student
Driver” graphics.

Camp ROCKS! Academic Adventures Camp ROCKS! Programs
and Mini Camps
Academic Adventures Camp ROCKS!
Designed for current K-4th grade students who Academic Adventures
want to develop their academic skills, make friends with ISD 279
and continue their love for learning. It’s FUN! You’ll
be busy, actively learning with a focus on standards 55
in reading, math, science and more. This is top
quality summer education taught by the best Osseo
Area Schools teachers and support staff. You’ll have
computer time, reading & math lessons, science
experiments, time to read, daily phy-ed and more.

What’s Included?
Breakfast and lunch, a book to take home, on-site fun
day, and a bus to and from camp if you live in or have
a daycare address within the district boundaries. Our
camp also provides nurse support as needed and able.
All transportation is provided using only large buses.

Additional Camp Information
- Registration will be sent out in February
- July 6-31, 2020 (20 total days)
- 8 am-3 pm or 8:45 am-3:45 pm (depending on site)

Your transportation address determines the site you
attend. You’ll receive a postcard in late May with
your program location and time. All sites offer the
same types of activities and services. Registration
deadline is Friday, April 3, 2020.

Camp ROCKS Mini Camps
Experience camps and enriching opportunities that
enhance your child’s summer experience. We offer
camps designed for every type of learner from PreK-
middle school. Camps are conveniently located at
one summer site but are also offered at Kidstop sites
during special weeks throughout the summer.
