You are invited...CONTACT USallsaintsatlanta.org | 404.881.0835CONTACT USallsaintsatlanta.org | 404.881.0835@allsaintsatlanta @allsaintsATLDear saints, Holy Week is a grace-filled invitation in thebusyness of our lives to mark time differently. Each day, from Palm Sunday to Easter Day,beckons us to ponder the presence of the divinelife within the sacred story and in the heart ofourselves. The Rev. Dr. Simon Mainwaring, RectorThe ancient Greeks had a word for such time: kairos. It is not thechronos of passing time, the time we know day in and day out, oftenrushing from here to there. Kairos is the time that is in itself a kind ofopening into who we are and how we are living. When God breaks into our everyday movement through time and wegrow aware of it sufficiently to stop for a moment and notice, then weare on the cusp of a kairos moment. The great drama of holy weekkeeps us at that threshold in the hopes that we might discover more ofGod and of ourselves as we linger there. I invite you to loiter with holy intention and stay at the threshold thisholy week as you invite God’s story to meet your own. Grace, mercy and peace to you all,FOLLOW USIN THE CITY,FOR THE CITYIN THE CITY,FOR THE CITY
