I’m writing to invite you to our special charity gala event on October 29. This year marks the 14th annual celebration of FACE, and once again our spectacular event will be set at the renowned W Hotel in Guangzhou.
Since the inception of our event in 2005, donations from our sponsors have helped FACE to bring essential aid, including nutrition, medical care, education and social outreach to children living in poverty and others in desperate need. Today, our mission is more vital than ever. There are still millions in cities and rural provinces throughout China who are in dire need of help.

Welcome to the gorgeous W Hotel in Guangzhou! Upon your arrival, you will receive your complete FACE itinerary for the entire event. Relax and unwind with a refreshing concoction in the WooBar or Living Room lobby, a spa treatment, or a swim in the heated indoor pool with striking views of the city below.
If you plan to tour the city or are staying in Guangzhou after the event, Leah Beck (at +1-978-933-4755) is pleased to offer expert advice on cultural highlights and landmarks.
The FACE 2018 festivities of cially begin with our Welcome Party, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the hotel’s fth oor. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reunite with your colleagues and mingle with other FACE guests before tomorrow evening’s main event.

Our special gala night celebration kicks off with a pre-gala cocktail party at 6:30, followed by our spectacular 14th annual FACE gala dinner on the third oor at 7:00 p.m.

THE CHINA HEALTH PARTNERSHIP
Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
This progressive organization is reshaping the future of healthcare in China with comprehensive programs focused on policy review and reform, applied research, remote and mobile healthcare, and specialized training for senior health of cials.
THE CHINA BEAUTY CHARITY FUND
Led by Yue-Sai Kan, this program supports causes such as Operation Smile China, which provides free reconstructive surgery for underprivileged children with cleft lips and cleft palates.
WINGS OF MUSIC
Founded by world-renowned master violinist Chai Liang, this program introduces orphans and children of migrant workers to the world of classical music, helping them to develop social skills, self-con dence and discipline.


GUOLI LOVE CHARITY FOUNDATION
Film and television legend Zhang Guoli is devoted to supporting education programs throughout China. His organization has helped to rebuild schools in earthquake-damaged communities.
THE TRACES OF LOVE EDUCATION PROJECT
Founded by internationally renowned recording artist Johnny Jiang, this charity helps to fund the education of underprivileged children to help them reach their full potential.
THE CHINA FOUNDATION FOR DISABLED PERSONS
This organization provides educational materials, occupational training and medical care for disabled children and adults, in addition to funding sight-restoring surgeries for cataract patients.
HAI KANG BEI FOUNDATION
Dedicated to special care programs for children with autism, this organization provides education, support and guidance. It also works to promote autism awareness and tolerance among the public.
CEDAR HIGHRISE FOUNDATION
This organization encourages and supports the intellectual growth of children from remote villages and other poor areas by funding their high-school education while fostering the values of self-con dence and self-suf ciency.
