2
Mr Torresean interview.
There are many ways, we show them through signs, and symbols around
the schools, including rituals and ceremonies, our ethics and beliefs.
In the library there are already over 5 Catholic symbols in one one small
place; imagine how many other signs there are in the school, especially in
rituals ash wednesday and welcoming mass.

Miss Ibrahim interview.
There are many things that make Holy Spirit Catholic. Firstly the values of
the college are built on the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
As a community we celebrate the feasts of the church together as well as
have College masses.
There is also so much history of the school which leads back to Mary
Mackillop and St John Baptist De LaSalle.
They were both two devout Catholics who lived the gospel through their
actions and that is what we are called to do as moments of the Holy Spirit
Catholic Community. As a Catholic community we pray the Angelus to-
gether at midday everyday.
Not only do we have Religious Education as a subject where students
can learn and appreciate Catholic teachers and scripture, but most class-
es begin with a prayer. The house names, Rosary on
Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes, Sr Carol. We are
so blessed to have many Catholic values as the foun-
dation of our College and community.
4
School Values.
Everyone at holy spirit college
are learners, guided by the Holy
Spirit to create a future based
on respect for self, diversity and
dignity for others.
The Main value of Holy Spirit
college is to develop the catholic
faith.
And there are endless goals
which link to the main value,
one including to educate young
people in a safe and co-educa-
tional setting. And another to
inspire all members of the community to be enlivened by the holy spirit.
Also in every classroom they always have at least 2 religious symbols in the
class.

H.S Website information.
Now for the website infor-
mation, let us start on the
sections of the website.
There are 7 sections Home,
About, curriculum, co cur-
ricular, enrolments, news
and events and contacts.
Also at the top of the web-
site there are 4 extra
Sections but these are
mostly for when you get
enrolled, compass, student
portal, staff portal and counsellor request.
The extra 4 don’t say anything about how Holy Spirit college is catholic
while the first 7 do.
The one to mainly focus on is the about section.
Mainly because it talks about the schools history, the mission and vision,
crest and motto, wellbeing, and policies.
This is the place to find all the Information on the school.
6
Environmental representation.
7
Prayer Practice.
At Holy Spirit Some Prayer practice includes Mass, Liturgies, and assem-
blies. But those are occasionally for instance once a week.
Some other Prayer practices at Holy Spirit are the daily ones especially the
Angelus which consists of a few small prayers.
And another daily practice that my History teacher does every lesson is a
hail mary and an our father.
